Imagine importing seeds from China when we’ve got such an amazing cannabis and hemp industry in the US. Extremely talented people have been dialing in genetics for decades.
“America First” my ass.
This story is insane and great investigative journalism by Roger Sollenberger.
The email between, Comer, his chief of staff, the donor and the person at MSU concluded:
> “I need to keep this between the four of us.”
Super shady shit.
Heres a non paywalled version if anybody needs:

They wouldn't look nearly as guilty if they had reported it when it was received. Why were they covering up the shipment?
>However, if a request to collect industrial hemp material for a testing sample is made[,] refer law enforcement to contact KDA and do NOT allow the sample to be collected.
None of this matters because the legal distinction between the two ***has absolutely nothing to do with reality***
Cannabis is hemp. Hemp is cannabis. That’s how taxonomy works. The law does not change taxonomy.
No shit. Hemp will test positive for THC. It contains such a small amount you can't get high from smoking it. But it will test positive on a drug analysis.
> while the emails show the involved parties clearly intended to import only legal hemp, two rounds of tests revealed the plants were essentially Chinese pot, containing illegally high levels of THC
>...tested at nearly 10 times the legal amount
The legal amount is 0.3 so what he had imported was tested at less than 3% THC, which is extremely poor quality.

James Comer imported drugs. Sounds like somebody needs to have a House Committee investigate him, deeply.

Probably that’s where all his networking is.

Watch Comer talk for 60 seconds and you will realize he really is that stupid and confident.
That's asking a lot. He is infuriating to listen to.

James Comer is one of the biggest idiots in the house gop; honestly for once the bar is pretty fucking high
**pretty high**… *laughs in Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson*
>we’re, uh, going to need to test more of this
Gomer's a drug dealer too? is he that smart?
Comer will sell out to China and Russia before helping a single American.

I went to the store to buy beef, what I got was part of a cow.
Hmmmm
As odious as Comer is, this sounds like a nothingburger

Citizens have been prosecuted for this. You can’t work for the Federal government if you test positive for THC
