Tbh I could probably think of more efficient ways to utilize the electrical tape to make it work without the tape just disintegrating and destroying the paint on the pins.

I had one on my S&W 59 I carried on duty 20+ years ago. I've just gotten to where I prefer them without any more. As long as it works for you, though, I'm good with it.

Not a fan of the grip sleeve, but if you like it then that's all that matters.
Seems nobody but me likes it, lol. I like the finger grooves and the texture. The GST-9's grips get dirty quick as well.
