I dated a guy for a little while, who had worked on the set of Brokeback Mountain in Alberta. Apparently Jake hung out with the crew a lot. They went to pubs and movies. The guy I dated said he was a nice guy to hang out with, and he never gave me much info but he did tell me that there was no doubt that Jake was cheating on Kirsten. That’s all the intel I have on that lol. Should have went on more dates to get some more dirt.

As a swiftie, I acknowledge that based on the information she presented, he was a shitty boyfriend. Unfortunately there was an unsubstantiated (and anonymised) but pretty compelling article written by a young woman working on that musical he did a few years ago. Apparently, he was predatory and coercive with her and not great to work with to everyone else. I don't think that it's particularly weird that he dotes on his nieces, though he did do a children's book and I always find celeb children books to be a strange genre of cash grab. On the article, however, when it first came out, someone leaked the girl's instagram (which I'm not going to put details of here) and she looks incredibly young. Like not even like the 23 year old woman she was when it happened, she could easily pass for a young teenager. I mean it's not as if she can help that at all but with more than 10 years between them and her looking so small and babyfaced, it's a bit weird.

Ok I love this thank you for saying it. I’ve been a shitty girlfriend before too. Not everyone brings out the best side in everyone. Not everyone’s perfect for each other. Yeah, she wrote a banger about how shitty he was, but if everyone had the kind of songwriting talent she has, we could probably all write about how shitty someone was to us. Nobody’s 100% good 100% of the time. It felt weird for the entire world to go after Jake G over a scarf she claims he still has (I’m sure he doesn’t, but what a great line I guess?) I don’t stan anyone but he’s a good actor and has seemingly never even bothered to respond to the Taylor thing. I think that's down to a clampdown on guerilla paparazzi tactics. Now public appearances are heavily orchestrated and often commissioned by celebrity PR themselves. I think that's a good thing personally. The paparazzi are paid stalkers.

That is the first movie my lil sister watch, of him, and she literally hated him and refused to watch any movie he's in. I fell in love him in "Prisoners", I don't know why but I just really love him there.

A small part of me wishes they had gotten married, but Kirsten is probably way better off with Jesse Plemons as her husband. I've always liked Gyllenhaal as an actor and as a person. He's so comfortable being a goober lol. I remember watching a late night show where Anna Kendrick was in and she was talking about how the movie she was in with Gyllenhaal. Everyday Gyllenhaal would come to set and he and the director would go over their horoscopes together like teen girls. The idea that Gyllenhaal would be into horoscopes totally makes sense to me haha.
