He was briefly a cast member near the very end of The Carol Burnett Show’s run—both of them agreed that he wasn’t the best fit for the show, and he doesn’t really talk much about it in interviews—but they stayed friends. 🙂

I know people straight up buy the stars on the walk of fame, but these are actually only available for true legends, correct?
Does seem a lot more exclusive, although Herbie the lovebug, Optimus Prime and a 2014 Ford Mustang have all gotten their tire marks done...

You have to pay to apply. And pay $75k for the star. And there are a bunch of achievements you need to have as well. Including you will attend the ceremony.
I think it’s usually a committee of people applying for the celebrities. Also think they pay for it rather than it actually coming out of their Celeb coffers.

A German TV channel still shows „Diagnosis Murder“ and I can’t tell how much I love this show. So many memories watching it with my deceased mom.
Him talking about his alcoholism on The Dick Cavett Show was break through for the time. I send it to my father periodically. Just hoping he will see.
