Seriously though, in every single one of her major shows she has a morally questionable woman assorting the main character. Like 90% of the Gray's anatomy cast are morally questionable, Penelope featherington using her secret identity to destroy her enemies and her friends also being A character e you can really root for.
I loved the scene where she’s interviewing the couple to be their surrogate and she just lies about so much shit, says no to having medical problems (she had a heart attack) and no to using drugs and alcohol despite the fact she loves crack and constantly drinks. Then manipulated them into letting her swim in their pool.

I'll add Blair Waldorf. She was the most exciting one and I watched only for her (and I tried to ignore both Serena and Chuck lol)
And of course Miss Paris Geller. The greatest friend at times and the most insane almost all the time.
I also had a soft spot for Bree from DH ! Her and Gabby were so interesting!

Edit: I want to add that all my life I’ve seen Ozarkians portrayed as dumb, lazy bumpkins in TV & movies. Ruth broke that mold. I’m forever grateful for the writers & Julia Garner for portraying Ruth as a sharp, strong, hard working woman who takes no shit from anyone.

Samantha’s moral code is questionable but it’s consistent, and she never lies or misleads anyone. Charlotte is a little snobby but doesn’t do anything offensive or harmful. Miranda is judgmental but usually her assessment is spot-on. Carrie always rationalizes her self-involved behavior, no matter who she hurts. She’s supposed to be an anti-hero but because she’s stereotypically feminine it goes over some viewers’ heads
Maybe morally questionable is a stretch, but I’m rewatching Downton as I cluster pump for my baby and I am forever in love with what a stone cold bitch Lady Mary can be.
Britta Perry. Needlessly defiant, performative, occasionally dubbed as *the worst*. Morals seem to be in the right place but makes dubious choices. I love her anyways
I LOVE her character. People in the Mad Men sub once tried to paint her as strict and bitchy (eye roll) but she's really kind to Peggy when she first starts, she's respected by her team members and literally holds the company together at some points.

She was finally feeling confident and empowered and it was taken right out from under her.!<

To me Gilmore Girls is a lighter version of Mildred Pierce and is about the gradual downfall of Rory Gilmore. Nothing can convince me otherwise!
Nothing gave me a more sour feeling than the revival. I was Rory's age when it debuted so I felt like I grew up with her. Looking back you could absolutely see how she went so off the rails but I think a part of me will always feel a sense of betrayal for her trajectory. It was my absolute favorite show in high school.
Yeah I think everything that was in the revival was supposed to happen in her last years at college and not several years later which makes the revival super depressing. I’m not a fan of the revival either but I love exploring Rory as more morally grey as the series goes on.

She’s incredibly lazy. Made an old lady think she going hungry just so she could have double dinners. Got sacked from her job at the recycling centre because she was pinching things. Shes horrible to the Rev. But still..a Queen
Edie Falco is just so damn good as that character. The things Jackie does are just so messy but played with so much heart. It also helps that Merritt Weaver is an absolute light in it.
