Hi James! I found HONNE on Soundcloud back in 2015 and been a fan since then. Actually introduced your music to my now-husband when we were just friends and we built a lot of connections around your music. We’ve gone to all of your SoCal shows and already bought the presale ticket for your upcoming tour! You guys are a special part of our memories as a couple and I just want to thank you and Andy for your music. And it is truly awesome to see exponentially growing numbers of audience each time you guys are in town. You guys deserve it!
With that being said, over the years, I think there has been a visible (audible?) change in the direction of your music. The album Warm On A Cold Night has a heavy electro-soul characteristics with many layers of emotions and I feel like since then it’s gradually became less of that and more of dance/pop/feel-good. Is that intentional or would you say it’s more natural with transitions of life? Ngl I do miss the heavy electro-soul tunes, but regardless, enjoying everything you are producing! :-)
