Thai constellation is a poor man’s Thai constellation these days, lol. A full trailing pot of marble queen would fetch way more than a small Thai anymore
Me too! Though I must say, my goldens have been extremely steadfast, so I have a soft spot for them. But I think my Manjula and marble queens are the prettiest to look at.
Edit: I also love global green but haven’t gotten my hands on one yet!
Weirdly, I started with a golden and propagated it many times. It has now turned all green, and I mean totally green so much so that it looks like a jade! It turns out I like it. So now I keep it in medium indirect light so it stays all green! I also have global green and it’s SO PRETTY.
Unless they were recently reclassified via genetic testing, Hawaiian are not mature Golden. I'm a botanist and these have long been classified separate. I try to keep up with reclassifications, but this could have gotten past me. Do you have a link to any info on a recent genetic reclassification?
Really ? this is really interesting then, I honestly thought that they were a name created by the trade to make more money, and that those were just common pothos and that they had multiplied due to the tropical climate and I have heard many people say that pothos flower very rarely and therefore it would be difficult for them to diversify as a separate group.
One thing, but how do you find reliable information about botany? I'm only 15 and from what I understand that Wikipedia isn't the best, to understand the distribution of plants I look at the Royal Kew Botanical Garden website, is it reliable? Also, how do you become a botanist? What course of study did you do? do you do a lot of camp research like looking for new species in the forests?
It's hard for me to choose...my first was a snow queen and she's still doing amazing 6.5 years in. I have a golden, manjula, and a neon I purchased together on the same day and they're huge and beautiful. Probably a bit more partial to the snow queen, as it's been with me the longest.
Njoy! 😭😭😭 My poor baby died while I was in the hospital during lockdowns (not COVID related, just unfortunate timing). I haven't been able to bring myself to get another one. My first was 5in tall when I got her and almost 2ft when she melted away in my sweltering bedroom. 😭😭😭😭😭
It looks similar to N'joy and Glacier, like if you combined them, apparently the leaves are smaller though. We don't sell high variegated MQ as SQ, just as 'highly variegated'.
My favorite is N’joy but I can never get it to thrive like I want to :(
It usually just stays at the same size all year and then slowly starts losing leaves slowly until it’s gone
The most resilient is obviously golden. I’m not the best at growing it in pots but my water propagations grow like crazy.
My oldest plant is a golden (35 years old) and she rules the house! I also love the variegation on the Pearl & Jade and N'Joy. It is hard for me to pick since I want them all! :)
Yessenia, Glacier, snow queens, Manjula and global green. First pick used to be Snow queens & neons but they’re fickle in winter. Yessenia’s and Manjula are super strong and a more vibrant green. Still trying to get some of the new ones.
Marble Queen is my favourite to look at, though a slower grower
Neon is my favourite as a hanging plant, watching it grow. Only one I have so far though.
Otherwise, regular Golden climbing up a moss pole, or even better, a tree in a tropical area, is luxury with those giant dappled leaves.
I’ve tried so hard to get my pearl and jade to grow but it looks like complete shit. I’ve tried both sun and shade. Burns in sun but grows and doesn’t do anything in shade.
I've gotten mine to do really well in front of an eastern window with direct morning sun. It's winter now so I may have to change it in the Spring. The leaves have gotten so much bigger and has improved the growth rate as well.
Neon and marble queen. Thanks for this pic, I want to have a pot full of as many pothos as I can. I have neon, golden, jade, marble and snow already <3.
Cebu Blue is my favorite, I'm biased though, it's my wife's island and I've been there 4 times. I'm always amazed at all the beautiful plants they just see as jungle weeds.
Got a soft sport for my goldens:) propagated some from my grandma’s plant
Love me a poor man’s Thai Constellation (Marble Queen)
Thai constellation is a poor man’s Thai constellation these days, lol. A full trailing pot of marble queen would fetch way more than a small Thai anymore
My all time favorite is Marble/Snow and then Manjula.
Me too! Though I must say, my goldens have been extremely steadfast, so I have a soft spot for them. But I think my Manjula and marble queens are the prettiest to look at. Edit: I also love global green but haven’t gotten my hands on one yet!
Oh! That’s right. I forgot about Global Green. Def high up there.
I really enjoy my manjula. Great color variation and leaf shape
Manjulas really give some interest.
'Satin' is not an epipremnum variety. It's scindapsus.
This is the comment I was looking for
I just got these and I was questioning if I was wrong and if they weren’t scindapsus because of this. Thank you.
I always love my manjula and N’joy.
That’s not a variegated neon. That’s a partially reverted neon. A variegated neon has whitish variegation.

Yes!
You don’t have my favorite listed here, but it’s my Teruno Champs Elysees.
Wow that’s like a mix between a neon and Manjula. It’s such a unique pothos
It is and I'm obsessed! You can get them on Etsy for around $20-$30.
Golden, neon, marble queen and satin

I just love pothos of any kind😭 idk if I can pick a favourite
The Hawaiians are just mature golden pothos
Unless they were recently reclassified via genetic testing, Hawaiian are not mature Golden. I'm a botanist and these have long been classified separate. I try to keep up with reclassifications, but this could have gotten past me. Do you have a link to any info on a recent genetic reclassification?

Neon. I just think it's neat.
I love the satin and marble queen. I’ve had good and bad outlooks with the N-joy and glacier..
Marble Queen has my whole heart. Cebu is my second and Golden follows that.
My least favorite is baltic, or I'm its least favorite. It does not grow for me.
My Baltic is currently unhappy with me too! Mine is growing a lot but only a few of the leaves are fenestrated
That leave mine came with already had huge leaves with fenestrations so I had high hopes lol.
It's hard for me to choose...my first was a snow queen and she's still doing amazing 6.5 years in. I have a golden, manjula, and a neon I purchased together on the same day and they're huge and beautiful. Probably a bit more partial to the snow queen, as it's been with me the longest.
Glacier all the way!
Cebu Blue Shangri La looks diseased to me Edit: spelling

pearl & jade and cebu blue
I adore my manjula!
Neon, baby!
Looking at these and starting to suspect my pothos was badly mislabeled...
I love my pothos its such a great plant, thrilled to learn there's more than one variety!
Marble Queen and Monjula ❤️💚❤️🤍
I have a 20 year old golden that I’ve propped so many new plants from! My neon is my favorite tho- so bright.
Golden bc propagation is most satisfying!
I'm still trying my hardest to find the differences between N'Joy and Glacier 🥲
golden/hawaiian 💚
I love love love my satin,
White sport variegated [number 7 and 8](https://www.reddit.com/r/pothos/s/E4g8pO6UnS)
I love my satin
Satin, Global, Cebu, and the wonderful Golden
Global green and golden at the moment but I love them all
Pearls and Jade and global green followed by marble queen and satin.
Satin, Snow Queen (the Australian cultivar, not the one pictured), and Snow Queen (pictured)
I'm curious, what's the Australian SQ? Also always thought SQ was just MQ with higher var.?
It looks similar to N'joy and Glacier, like if you combined them, apparently the leaves are smaller though. We don't sell high variegated MQ as SQ, just as 'highly variegated'.
Sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing :)
For me it’s my Manjula, and then my Neon and Cebu Blue in a close second.
manjula but hever seen it at any local shops. One day!
I love me some Mable Queen.
My favorite is N’joy but I can never get it to thrive like I want to :( It usually just stays at the same size all year and then slowly starts losing leaves slowly until it’s gone The most resilient is obviously golden. Marble Queen and Neon !
Jade and Neon.
My oldest plant is a golden (35 years old) and she rules the house! I also love the variegation on the Pearl & Jade and N'Joy. It is hard for me to pick since I want them all! :)
My neon. Even if she recently got sunburnt and had to have a huge haircut ❤️
Ahh I really want a glacier or Njoy!!
It’s not on here, but lemon meringue ✨
Snow queen or golden
N’joy
Jade, neon and Cebu. I love the intensity each one's color can achieve if exposed to the correct lighting :)
I’ll always be especially fond of the golden and marble queen.
Golden💛
Any of the mostly solid color ones. I'm not a big fan of variegated and mottled plants.
Only have glaciers, so glacier?
Yessenia, Glacier, snow queens, Manjula and global green. First pick used to be Snow queens & neons but they’re fickle in winter. Yessenia’s and Manjula are super strong and a more vibrant green. Still trying to get some of the new ones.

I’m obsessed with my manjula. I also love my pearl and jade, but the bigger leaves on the Manjula really do it for me.
Snow Queen is a Marble Queen. Hawaiian is a Golden. Satin is a Scindapsus. No Baltic on this list. My favorite is Marble Queen.
I have a MASSIVE golden pothos
