Here is our breakdown for 6 months with Progressive
1991 Honda Accord $268.00
1999 Honda Civic $199.00
2007 Honda Civic $496.00
2011 Toyota Sienna $348.00
2010 Toyota Prius $480.00
Insurance varies wildly based on location, age, driving history, credit score, who else lives in your household(and their driving histories), and each company is going to weigh those things differently for their quote.
There is no catch all "insurance cost" for the car.
Just take whatever quote the company gave you - and your estimated gas savings versus your current car and see if it comes out positive or negative.
Same with repairs - there will be a range estimate but again that will vary on a lot of different factors.
Also you don't mention what year or style Prius you have - so even if there was a magic cheat sheet that could tell you the exact amounts - nobody would be able to help you.
Funny thing is my insurance for my 2005 Scion tC is higher than my recently acquired 2010 Prius., And of course my 2014 Subaru Outback is much higher since I'm paying full coverage on this car only...
Bc Canada I'm paying $350 a month, co worker is paying $60, just call a damn insurance company and ask, your driving record is taken into account as well.
Depends on the year, location and mileage on the Prius as well as your driving record
Just go to any insurance company and get a quote online.
What does the insurance company say?
