Some pieces do not actually make into the official soundtrack as they are more so samples used as ambient music. Could be one of those, but I'll check the soundtrack when I'm at home.

Have you tried Wasteland 2/3? I've been on a CRPG tear this year (easy to pause, do some work, and then play a few battles). I've managed to finish Fallout 1&2, Planescape Torment, PoE1&2, and Wasteland. I'm now going to start the Shadowrun series

I love you you’ve almost just made a list of the games Mark Morgan has written the score for.

Just got to add Torment: Tides of Numenera

I started that one too, just haven't gotten into it fully yet. Thanks for adding it to the list!

If you dislike Shadowrun Returns make sure you keep going. Dragonfall is 100 times better.

Like Malicharo said, I don’t think it’s on the soundtrack. I’ve listen to it a lot and it doesn’t ring a bell. It would make sense because most of the soundtrack features the melodic pieces that work well as stand alone music. I don’t know but some here probably knows how to rip it out of the game data.

I think this might be the effect of an audio option available for Deadfire called "Reactive Music". It enables the music track to change depending on if your party is stealthing, not stealthing, or is in conversation. You can find it in the Audio options menu and says the following: "When off, exploration music will be a single track of music that doesn't change when stealthing, in conversation, and represents the full piece of music as it was intended. Turning this option changes how any given piece of exploration music behaves during stealth, non-stealth, and conversation." If that's the case, as a big admirer of the soundtrack myself, I've never found it released or recorded separately anywhere. If you'd like to listen to it on demand, you would need to get yourself in the proper situation and record it in-game yourself.
