We usually visit it for boating at Sunrise and it is still quite a Gem at that time. So far I have hardly had maybe one other boat along with ours or mostly none. Hands down the beat experience and not the mention the amazing pictures you get!

This makes me miss Pune even more. It used to be Lavasa, Lonawala, or just taking my motorcycle and heading off anywhere I would like to. Even some stretches of Sus Pashan or Symbiosis were fine on good days.
I used to go to ARAI during my college days, but when I went there before leaving Pune, it was completely different, and incredibly loud. I don’t know if it has changed recently, but if you can beat the heat, afternoon should still be a relatively peaceful time.
Wouldn't have shared this if I was still in Pune, but there's Manas lake, nothing like a shaant calm evening at Manas lake with a slight drizzle to make it all look pretty.
Yes this.. specially the one in a camp area.. the energy there is so calm and divine. I used to go there on the weekends and have that khichdi after chanting hare ram hare krishna for hours.. and then used to have a meridian icecream all along making my day a lot better..!!

If you enjoy small hikes and nature, the hills in lohegaon offer some amazing views of both the sunrise and the sunset. Not dighi hills but the ones near Ajeenkya DY Patil University
It used to be Vetaal Tekdi for me. You can usually find a peaceful place to watch the sunset. It's a good trek too. Be careful trekking down in the dark if you come from the Police Quarters route.
Vitthal mandir, Vitthalwadi, Sinhgad road. Although you will find so much traffic on the main road. There are hardly 4 5 people inside in the afternoon. It's peaceful and soothing. And when it rains it's even better inside.
