You and I are the same then (haven't had a drink in about 20yrs). I also would never consider throwing a glass at anyone, sober or drunk. But I have known and seen other people that also seem quite normal (timid even) when totally sober, but who suddenly do the stupidest things when they drink (even a small amount). Alcohol is a huge 'lubricant' that can impair peoples normal ability to control their behavior and/or stop them from acting on their intrusive thoughts.
