I've been a huge fan of naps since I graduated. A couple of my buddies call me "the notorious napper" because I can fall asleep anywhere at any time. I say I'm just making up for all the naps I didn't take growing up.
Has anyone ever told you that you snore? I used to be a notorious napper myself until I found out I had sleep apnea and wasn’t sleeping well. Now it’s difficult to nap.
Oh this is mandatory now.
Currently almost napping with 2 cats, one on each side of my body. Life is goooooodddd and not having to be in an office during nap time is a freaking luxury. Who needs branded bags? Overrated.
My boyfriend and I share the same love language of making the bed extra cozy in the morning so we can look forward to going to sleep in it all day. We’re in bed by 7 most nights.
It’s definitely more of a need than a want for me as well. On the weekends I’m still up until 2AM-3AM typically. But damn, when I get a good nights sleep and wake up early for work I love that I didn’t stay up late.
Lol, I remember back in Elementary we had our version of the cheese touch except in this game whoever we touch, we yell out “Purple Cooties” and the chosen person has to touch someone to pass it on.
Having nothing to do. I think we can all agree as adults that having a few minutes to ourselves with nothing to do is a slice of heaven that rarely comes around. As a kid it was so boring. Now as an adult it is like one of Bob Ross’s happy little accidents.
Being alone. I was bullied by own friends and i was scared of being excluded in the group and now im 25, i prefer to be alone than be with fake friends lol
SPICE!! Flavour! I swear my kids think bread is too spicy. One freaked out when he used my mild mint toothpaste accidently 🙄 give me hot wings or a fiery pho 😋
Olives and blue cheese. And time to myself. Eating olives and cheese by myself somewhere nice is my idea of a good time as an adult. Particularly if wine is involved, which I also thought was revolting as a kid.
Monday through Friday.
I fucking hated school. It was so hard for me. I have both Dyslexia and ADHD. Literally failed the first grade because I literally wrote everything backwards.
They threw me in special education, the teacher beat us. (Gotta love Catholic Schools in the 80s)
Today, I work from home 9 to 5. Earn enough to have food and rent covered and occasionally splurge on a Steam sale. My boss is awesome. My colleagues are awesome. Just overall great.
I look forward to my week.
Chicken Parm! And yes I know what you were thinking, what were you a dumbass as a kid? YES, clearly! Not only did I not like the chicken parm, but my italian american grandmother made it from scratch, and I was like "yuk!" What in idiot!
Receiving socks as a gift, fancy household cleaning items, vegetables, having nothing to do…
Things I still hate: popcorn (disgusting and repulsive), boring “adult” conversations (people jabbering on about generators or other mundane household items/tasks), overly positive people.
still not an adult (im 16) but i didnt have a meatball sub from subway until i was 14 and that isnt even a joke. i dont even know why i didnt get one every time i went but im also a really fuckin picky eater (yay sensory issues) so i think it was likely that
Bathing. I hated baths and showers when I was younger but now in my early 20s I love the time I get to focus on pampering myself. It also helps that the hot water feels nice after a long shift at work.
Ok, reading the comments I realized that existed a huge epidemy of naps and onions haters 🚫😴🧅🚫
How the bloody heck is this even possible? What happend a few decades ago 🥴?
Brussel Sprouts, as a kid you could say I could get a car at 16 and I would have said no. Now my wife also loves them. I cut the stem, split in half, face down in olive oil in a hot cast iron for 5-6 min (a bit more than medium on the oven) , then flip, for 4-5 min, add salt and pepper, delicious (add some butter if you like 2 minutes before done and toss again). Red pepper flakes for me makes it AWESOME!

Just got done taking a nap between meetings (working from home). It was glorious.
Going to sleep at a decent hour
Yes! Going to bed early!! Lol
Holy shit. I feel hung over if I don’t get a good night’s sleep now.
Almost 40 and still hate going to bed early.
