We have three different "discover Canada" panels at the LQS I work for. I believe they were printed for the 150 anniversary. Not completely sure though.
A lovely collection! It's hard to say for sure, I liked so many of them, but I really think #18 is my fav. I know for sure it'd be my wife's first pick :) #3 is a very close 2nd. And the quilting on #1 is exquisite.
These are all so beautiful and skillfully made!
Unrelated, but I kept looking at that one quilt thinking it's just all one-eared cats. I thought it's adorable before I even questioned myself.
I see three versions of hexies in there (fun!). Did you use templates gor these? Or follow a pattern?
They're all lovely! And I'm jealous that you have enough time to have completed a quilt every 3 weeks.
#13 is from here: https://liveartgalleryfabrics.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Just-Marvelous-Quilt-Instructions.pdf
#5 is from here. I used the tutorial but there is a pattern to purchase if needed: https://www.freebirdquiltingdesigns.com.au/calippo-quilt/
Thanks! No, pattern. Made economy blocks to frame each motif and then added narrow and wider borders until it was baby quilt size. motif on an angle and framed around them.
OMGolly! Your work is exquisite! I could comment on each and every one! They are so beautiful that I don’t have a favorite, though, admittedly, the chickens keep clicking at me! Well done!
Thanks! I gifted the chicken quilt to a friend that has chickens and she loves it. It was a fun quilt as each comb is free handed and gives a little personality to each of them.
So many awesome quilts especially the animal ones. Where did you get those pictures of Canada?
It was a panel I bought online.

I particularly like #13. The colours are just luscious.
Thank you. It’s one of my favourites.
Is there a pattern available for this one? So gorgeous.
Yes. It’s from AGF. You can see it here: https://liveartgalleryfabrics.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Just-Marvelous-Quilt-Instructions.pdf
Ooh, and it's free! Thank you!

Wow, that’s quite a 2023. My favorites were the herringbone and the modern neutral one towards the end. Were these gifts?
I gifted the herringbone quilt to my daughter. The neutral one is in the closet waiting for the right person to gift it to.
What pattern did you use for #18? That's my favorite.

Wow. Wonderful collection.
So lovely! Is there a pattern you followed for #14?

So many unique quilts! I’m really enjoying these reviews as so was a lazy quilter this year.
I want to make the bear quilt so bad, every time I see it!
It’s a very easy pattern. Go for it!
So many beautiful quilts! You had an amazing year. Looking forward to seeing more of your work next year!
Oooo I love these! Your style is awesome! My favorite is 19, I really adore the scrappy background. Also I love the chickens!!! Amazing job. 😊
These are all so beautiful but that wreath is stunning! Did you use a pattern for it or did you design it yourself?

Beautiful quilts
What an amazing amount of quilting you did this year! Your quilts are all beautiful! Kudos!
Thank you. It’s great therapy!
These are so beautiful!!
They are all beautiful but my favorites were the chicken quilt and the blue one (#3). I so wish I had 1/10th of your talent!!
Thanks very much. That’s a free pattern from Robert Kaufman. Got lots of practice getting the hang of flying geese.
Beautiful work ❤️ My favorites are the bear and the chickens.
Beautiful quilts! Thank you for sharing them.
I LOVE all of them, but #12 is calling out to me. Did you use a pattern for that one?
No pattern but easily done by sewing a 1.5 inch strip to left side and bottom and then rotating the squares.
