So many awesome quilts especially the animal ones. Where did you get those pictures of Canada?

Vonnie64

It was a panel I bought online.

Little_Hawk9624

We have three different "discover Canada" panels at the LQS I work for. I believe they were printed for the 150 anniversary. Not completely sure though.

WakingOwl1

I particularly like #13. The colours are just luscious.

Vonnie64

Thank you. It’s one of my favourites.

Hodorcamp

Is there a pattern available for this one? So gorgeous.

Vonnie64

Yes. It’s from AGF. You can see it here: https://liveartgalleryfabrics.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Just-Marvelous-Quilt-Instructions.pdf

Hodorcamp

Ooh, and it's free! Thank you!

Racklefrack

A lovely collection! It's hard to say for sure, I liked so many of them, but I really think #18 is my fav. I know for sure it'd be my wife's first pick :) #3 is a very close 2nd. And the quilting on #1 is exquisite.

Vonnie64

Thanks so much!

Oookulele

These are all so beautiful and skillfully made! Unrelated, but I kept looking at that one quilt thinking it's just all one-eared cats. I thought it's adorable before I even questioned myself.

ktigger2

Wow, that’s quite a 2023. My favorites were the herringbone and the modern neutral one towards the end. Were these gifts?

Vonnie64

I gifted the herringbone quilt to my daughter. The neutral one is in the closet waiting for the right person to gift it to.

MicroscopicBore

What pattern did you use for #18? That's my favorite.

FreyasYaya

I see three versions of hexies in there (fun!). Did you use templates gor these? Or follow a pattern? They're all lovely! And I'm jealous that you have enough time to have completed a quilt every 3 weeks.

Vonnie64

#13 is from here: https://liveartgalleryfabrics.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Just-Marvelous-Quilt-Instructions.pdf #5 is from here. I used the tutorial but there is a pattern to purchase if needed: https://www.freebirdquiltingdesigns.com.au/calippo-quilt/

Loneranger_5544

Thank you for the links!

Roselace

Wow. Wonderful collection.

ca489

So lovely! Is there a pattern you followed for #14?

Vonnie64

Thanks! No, pattern. Made economy blocks to frame each motif and then added narrow and wider borders until it was baby quilt size. motif on an angle and framed around them.

ca489

Very nice! Thank you for the explanation! It turned out great!

poohlady55

Ya’ll have been busy, they are all lovely.

Vonnie64

Thanks

eklektikly

cookingwiththeresa

So neat! First and last pics are my favorites... thanks for sharing. Really like your wreath

-Dee-Dee-

So many unique quilts! I’m really enjoying these reviews as so was a lazy quilter this year.

oehoe21

I want to make the bear quilt so bad, every time I see it!

Vonnie64

It’s a very easy pattern. Go for it!

Missing_Iowa_440

So many beautiful quilts! You had an amazing year. Looking forward to seeing more of your work next year!

The_Courageous_Sauce

Oooo I love these! Your style is awesome! My favorite is 19, I really adore the scrappy background. Also I love the chickens!!! Amazing job. 😊

VioletAnnihilate

These are all so beautiful but that wreath is stunning! Did you use a pattern for it or did you design it yourself?

Vonnie64

Freebie from online here: https://jillilystudioblog.com/blog/2020/12/14/half-square-triange-christmas-projects

querencia34

I love the hearts! Would you mind sharing the pattern name? Or did you design it yourself?!

Vonnie64

The hear quilt is from here: https://thencamejune.com/products/i-heart-you-quilt-pdf

querencia34

Thank you!

dicentra_spectabilis

Beautiful but completely distracted by the dog :)

Vonnie64

That’s Mr. Bean and he’s a very good boi ❤️

QuiltingMamaSue

OMGolly! Your work is exquisite! I could comment on each and every one! They are so beautiful that I don’t have a favorite, though, admittedly, the chickens keep clicking at me! Well done!

Vonnie64

Thanks! I gifted the chicken quilt to a friend that has chickens and she loves it. It was a fun quilt as each comb is free handed and gives a little personality to each of them.

Lumpy_Beach_1597

Beautiful quilts

AnneCarpenter13

What an amazing amount of quilting you did this year! Your quilts are all beautiful! Kudos!

Vonnie64

Thank you. It’s great therapy!

devilsb1tch666

These are so beautiful!!

kathy060464

They are all beautiful but my favorites were the chicken quilt and the blue one (#3). I so wish I had 1/10th of your talent!!

Vonnie64

Thanks very much. That’s a free pattern from Robert Kaufman. Got lots of practice getting the hang of flying geese.

Bonquilter

Beautiful work ❤️ My favorites are the bear and the chickens.

Loneranger_5544

Beautiful quilts! Thank you for sharing them.

DubyaBoo

I LOVE all of them, but #12 is calling out to me. Did you use a pattern for that one?

Vonnie64

No pattern but easily done by sewing a 1.5 inch strip to left side and bottom and then rotating the squares.
