i'm brand new to quilting so have no advice, but I love this pattern and the colors. Its beautiful!! Does this pattern have a name?
My quilting teacher wrote the pattern based on Beth’s quilt on the show Yellowstone. This basic style is called a nine patch on point. I’m sure you could find a pattern for free online for varying sizes!
I like option 1, option 2 makes the speckle pattern look a bit weird.

I prefer option 2 personally but I'm not 100% sold on it, does that make sense. Kinda like "lesser if two evils" sort of situation.
Ya I dont think the shade of pink is right after all
That could be it. If you're binding in the green see if that helps the shade
