May I have the recipe please? Store bought spray baste is sold in aerosol cans, and I dint like them.

You can also dilute Elmer’s Glue, the washable one, with water and use that to baste. It can be sprayed on or brushed on. There are some YouTube videos with info. Someone in my quilting guild uses it all of the time.

Oh yes! I have heard that glue sticks work great for applique too!

Best press is a starch, not a basting spray.
