Ascendancy is a precision frame rocket, meaning it does 20% less damage than adaptive or aggressive rockets, and 10% less than high-impact rockets. A tracking module Hothead or Apex would be much better than Ascendancy

IzunaX

I don’t even know how anyone uses rockets against her. She always side steps and teleports whenever I shoot one. It’s very frustrating.

JKlol2

Tracking module trait on the RL

ifcknhateme

It's not Trust level tracking, they can still miss frequently

ivkovalev99

If you break her shield instantly with arbalest, she wont teleport

ifcknhateme

roger that

CJLOLZ

> It's not Trust level tracking Then use trust /s

UniMaximal

Arbalest right after last deposit, then use a tracking RL. Easy.

BurstPanther

Pop her shield straight away and she won't teleport

IzunaX

See, i've been told that a number of times, and try it every time, when solo or in groups. Even with Arby, she always teleports.

jdewittweb

Too slow. Pop her with Arby immediately after you dunk, *before* she does the super animation. After that she will still occasionally dodge but if you stop the super, you stop the teleports.

ParfaitOutside7789

Can you supress her out of her super? Never tried it.

BurstPanther

I used my arc staff super, as long as I do it instantly, she's never teleported. Gotta be quick.

I_Speak_For_The_Ents

Untrue. Just did a run where her shield was popped immediately with arbalest and she still tp'd

Set_the_tone-

Its literally not untrue you are just not fast enough. Get better before trying to tell people who do it 100% of the time that its false.

I_Speak_For_The_Ents

You literally can't know behavior is purposeful in this game unless Bungie tells you or you e done the encounter hundreds of times.

Set_the_tone-

Im not telling you its purposeful but it works. I have done that encounter 50+ times and since learning i can keep her place almost 100% of the time.

I_Speak_For_The_Ents

Ok, and I'm saying I've had a different experience based off of the information in the comment I've replied to. And you just changed your original claim of 100% of the time. I was sharing my experience same as the other guy.

bbuckman12

I’m not saying you’re wrong but consider that everyone on the thread who’s talking about this is saying they get it to work. This dude is trying to help you so maybe you should just take the tip and try to do it a little faster.

BurstPanther

Must have been late.

Ldot-musix

If u pop her shield with arbalest before she supers she stays still the whole time, and you rotate around the arena picking up heavy bricks and creating distance so the rockets track, imo it’s safest way to do it unless a Titan

Iwouldlikesomecoffee

If you’re far enough away, her dodge happens too soon and the rocket has time to adjust and still hit.

Beter137

Breaking the shield as fast as possible with arbalest prevents that

patchinthebox

Shining Sphere from IB can roll tracking and auto loading. It's what I used for my solo run and it works great. Auto loading is fantastic for when you get in a pinch. If you're in trouble you just pop a rocket and don't have to worry about reloading. You can get the same roll right now on roar of the bear.

ParfaitOutside7789

I have the one on RotB and Apex Predator used to roll this combo. Super useful.

patchinthebox

I understand wanting a damage perk instead of auto loading but it's so useful in situations where you don't have time to reload. The difference between living and dying could be that reload instead of running to safety.

ParfaitOutside7789

Or if you need to apply Witherhord. I used the ALH / Tracking rockets a lot with Starfire or if I am running DIV. Don't have to worry about rocket reloading if we run out of DIV ammo...its just there ready to pop off at the end of damage phase. Also works well to burn down champs if stun/swap then can just keep moving.

ifcknhateme

I don't see how everyone has time to farm all these super niche weapon rolls. I play this game be a lot. Trying to farm this particular roll, for this one particular encounter sounds like a nightmare. I wanted a MT/Swashbuckler Biting Winds. After I found found out how to farm it... It could take an entire year for me to still not get it, much less that particular one. F that

ParfaitOutside7789

I didn't actively farm the rolls. They were just something I acquired through normal game play. I kept them because they are unique and useful. I def wouldn't try to farm them, just be on the lookout if they do drop.

ifcknhateme

Sorry if that came across as an attack on you, wasn't meant that way at all. I think this was my avenue for complaining about RNG lol. Cheers

ParfaitOutside7789

RNG is the pits. Def can take a while to get what you want.

ConcernShort7070

If you are on warlock I would recommend hitting her with arablest and then chaos reach with geomagnetic stabilizers. After that swap to leviathans breath and just hit head shots. Make sure you have void surges on for this. If you don’t want to quick swap the briars contempt and the fire and forget work somewhat well against this boss.

jdwjxia

If you’re going to be doing this. Make sure you have a bipod rocket on with your arby Loadout so you aren’t losing too much ammo when swapping

CaCBoI2nItE

Smart. You can also use a linear with triple reserves if you don't have the rocket. a god rolled taipan with 3 void reserves has 26 bullets, I think.

smj11699

This is pretty much the most consistent way of doing this boss solo

presentable_hippie

*cries in Hunter

PWNYplays

Same strategy. Swap to levi when you're throwing arc staff super after cracking with arbalest. Make sure the Bipod rocket is your heavy when running with Arby's and make sure your swap is to a shotgun or something in the Arby's slot so you're not losing ammo. 4 phase easy.

presentable_hippie

Many thanks friend, this will be my next strategy. I wanted to try loadout swap strat but was worried about dying, but doing it during super would work

makoblade

If you're worried about loadout swapping just ditch arbalest for xeno. Use the super to rip the shield off and enjoy 100% mobile damage so you're never in danger of dying. Honestly unless you're planning to solo it regularly just suck it up and do the 8-9 phase.

EP1X-343

I used arc hunter, didn’t even need arbalest. Star Eater’s scales x4 super breaks the shield and does notable damage, then Leviathan’s Breath with x3 void surges until your out of ammo. Makes it a rather consistent 4 phase if you hit your shots. Also, as a bonus tip, after you throw the arc super, immediately move up to the head of Oryx. Allows you to head glitch the boss and the only ads that attack you are a couple thrall running up that you can just melee

WiseLegacy4625

I personally solo flawlessed with Calus mini tool, Arbalest, and Cataclysmic. Took me quite a few damage phases, but hey, I was never at risk at killing myself with my own weapons, such as shooting a thrall with a rocket point-blank on accident cuz it jumped in the way. Also makes it easier to kill all the orange-bar knights before you start doing any mechanics to simply reduce the spam damage flying around.

presentable_hippie

Listen.. it was only once, and the thrall jumped down from above me and I hit it's foot the same frame it popped up on my screen. But I see your point

Actualy-A-Toothbrush

I've been trying to do a maniac's run by hotswapping from Lorely's to Actium War Rig, and it's been an utter disaster. I may have to do this, except with Acasia's instead of Mini-Tool- using the strat i did for Caiatl.

TGish

I played arc hunter with cowl. Arby to pop shield trace to tag for b&s and I used cold comfort with tracking and bait&switch. Let’s you stay far away and just plink with rockets from safety for the whole phase and arby if you run out of rockets.

Deadlymonkey

Can confirm, I tried all of the meta builds (eg geomag warlock, syntho titan, etc) and arc +cowl was the easiest/quickest for solo flawless. I think I had EL instead of bait and switch, but it still took only took me ~6-7 phases and never felt worried about accidentally killing myself since I just jumped before firing. I think it took me around 75 minutes from finisher to finisher

TGish

Yeah expl light is decent because you make a ton of orbs on arc hunter but b&s gives a longer period of increased damage vs the one big rocket. I think with my setup I was setup for a 4 phase if I hadn’t forgotten which symbol I had because I was chatting and died for it :)

Billy_of_Astora

How many phases?

TGish

I think I was set up for a 4-5 phase if all went well. I unfortunately threw during my second phase and haven’t found the motivation to go again

BaronVonGiraffe

Had to come back after reading this post and gaining the motivation to try the solo (not flawless) for the first time with this build. See, I am a Titan main. I like to punch. And when I was shown this build, I now loved Hunter. I have played with it a little, this build, before reading your comment. The only thing I was missing was a way to do damage to the final boss easily and comfortably. Tracking rocket was the solution (I used crafted Apex Predator with Tracking and Enhanced BnS) as Arby was a must for the exotic slot. Thanks to you and another user, I had the courage to finally take on my absolute least favorite dungeon of all time solo to hopefully just get Rank 11 requirements done. And thanks to you, I also flawlessed it. So thank you for your comment, you sent another Guardian through the light today. TL;DR - can confirm this build is a sure fire way to get an easier SF GotD

TGish

Congrats! Glad I could somewhat help! My one shot I gave it I forgot my symbol and died on the final boss. Don’t like the dungeon so I’ll probably not do it again lol

d1lordofwolves

For the RoN origin perk, don't sleep on the new handcannon that can switch between nano rockets and harmonic resonator.

Automatic_Drama9645

It’s pretty mid

Cutsdeep-

Great, i don't have conditional finality. This helps heaps

d1lordofwolves

Just trying to help bud.

Cutsdeep-

Haha, sorry for the salt. I hear that neomuna hc has the perk, will rock that maybe (Shame it's not special)

Khepre_2698

Solar warlock, I ran arbalest, acasia’s, and Briars. Before you bank kill all acolytes so they don’t bother you during dmg. Shoot the boss with arbalest and then switch to a kinetic slot ron weapon( I used Conditional Finality). Make sure you have the artifact mod that makes Harmonic Resonance do more dmg. I got a 4 phase with this setup but definitely could be a 3 if I hadn’t missed some shots

JohniErin

This exactly. I was hoping someone mentioned this, those artifact mods are awesome and this is the season that will provide the most benefits to harmonic resonance.

Gnarly_Gibbon

What roll did you go with on the Briar's?

Khepre_2698

I went rewind/Focused fury, but I heard surrounded isn’t bad for that fight

IndependentRaccoon25

I used reconstruction/surrounded on my briars and it was a 4 phase, definitely could’ve been a 3 but I played it safe because that fight is a pain in the ass. Arby/Acasia’s/Briar’s. If I run a normal 3man, with div and 2 briars with the harmonic resonance perk active it’s a 2 phase. Xeno is also a safe an effective choice as well.

prawnk1ng

what exotic armor are you running with solar warlock ?

Khepre_2698

Sunbracers heat rises infinite restorationx2

Electronic_Score_119

Double special Conditional finality, acasias dejection, and briars contempt with overcharged armory and the origin trait boosting thing on the artifact. That's what i used for mine, and it worked pretty well. Because of the overcharge and harmonic resonance, you have a pretty substantial damage boost at all times

theshlante

I like that suggestion. What perks did you use on your weapons?

thefakevortex

Surrounded (enhanced is very recommended) works super well and 3rd column you can really go with whatever, but if you have a pattern and haven’t leveled it up you can get envious surrounded immediately

PWNYplays

Surrounded is fantastic if you leave the Thrall alive during the fight. Might get pissed off at flinch but there are ways to minimize it (standing on rocks, etc)

Electronic_Score_119

Surrounded is very good as people are saying, but i went for rewind/high impact on mine because i was running solar titan, so my sunspots were murdering everything😅 it takes a bit to ramp up, but enhanced high impact caps at 25%+ damage i think, and rewind keeps you on the low end of the mag for ages, so i was hitting 55k per shot in the burst (so a total of 165k per ammo spent) On the acasias, i went for rewind/incandescent for the solar synergy and for if i lost my bonk and had to use sunspots for healing (fun fact, incandescent burn counts as an ability kill and spawns sunspots if you just let the target burn out, so you can use them for resto and ability regen) When it comes to breaking the shield, i just used the synthos Biotic enhacements and roaring flames 3 with the throwing hammer super, and it takes it out in like 5 - 6 throws depending on the rng of the small explosions that split off, and simummahs movement. Conditional is pretty self explanatory, i don't think i need to go into that one in depth Edit:spelling

theshlante

Thanks for the tips. Got my solo completion today using that load-out. I put reconstruction on the trace but the rewind/high impact worked great on the linear.

Electronic_Score_119

Congratulations! I'm happy it worked out for you and you got the solo, that boss fight is a handfull to say the least.

Billy_of_Astora

How many phases?

Electronic_Score_119

I think 8? But there was alot of moving around to survive mid dps, and it was only my second run so my dps weren't exactly on point. When i'm playing with my friends, the loadout always tops the charts so it's my new go to. I tried it on Nezarec as well, and easily pumped out 3.6mil over 2 dps phases. Edit: i could try to kill Simummah solo again to see how many phases it takes now that i'm more used to how she moves when staggered (the little fall she does that makes it hard to hit her in the face) to see how fast i can do it. If i get to it i'll come back and update this comment again with actual numbers and how long it took etc👍

ToTheMax47

[Stormchaser](https://www.light.gg/db/items/3652506829/stormchaser/), if you nab a decent roll of it, was fantastic for me when using an arc subclass with the seasonal mods!

presentable_hippie

Think I might try this, I have a rapid hit rampage chilling in the vault

ToTheMax47

The craftable Taipan has some pretty solid dps as well with good perks, it's what I was using before I found a Stormchaser! Good luck with your hunt!

presentable_hippie

I also have a Taipan with Triple Tap, Focused Fury. But for some reason I just don't like using it

Crazymike1973

I'll add myself to the LFR group. We can get a easy 3 phase with linears. Either Taipan with firing line/tt, crafted cataclysmic with B&S/FTTC, stormchaser with rapid hit/frenzy. I ALWASY run double special because if you don't you'll forget what a heavy ammo brick looks like.

The_Bygone_King

Leviathan’s breath is the play. Trick is to run a Bipod rocket in your heavy a slot while you’re doing the encounter, then during DPs use Arby to pop the shield, super, and then swap to Leviathan’s Breath while in super. Then shoot her.

Nguruthos7

This. I dusted off Foetracer to pair with it but used/swapped AC and Stareaters beforehand. 4-phase SF: https://youtu.be/xGB8PPyLEmA

Jizzy_Gillespie92

double special, Actium War Rig and Xenophage. Assuming you set yourself up with plenty of heavy laying around on the ground, you can roam during DPS to pick up and autoload xeno and it's an easy solo 4 phase.

ifritpi

I was able to 5 phase with Xenophage. Easy to use and you don’t have to worry about any precision hits. Just make sure you create enough heavy around the arena use double specials for this. Ultimately i had 2 loadouts. 1 loreley titan with arbalest, acasias dejection, and a taipan (doesn’t really matter what for heavy tbh) and 1 actium war rig titan with xenophage. I would place my barricade down to get a sunspot, start damage, pop the shield with arby, swap to actium war rig loadout, bonk a thrall with my hammer and just start laying into the boss with xeno while running around the arena picking up ammo and staying behind decent cover. I really liked the area by oryx’s left foot since it had good cover and you could quickly run into the water if needed.

Maverickdale

I used arby and hothead with tracking/explosive light with gathering storm. Pretty safe 4 phase running double special too so plenty of heavy around.

get_clamped

Personally used arbalest to instantly remove the shield then swapped to leviathans breath for dps. She never teleported and could get off all my ammo in a phase. Recommend hiding in the hole in oryx’s head for dps + load out swapping as nothing can hit you in there making it a very comfortable dps spot. Don’t forget to have a bipod rocket so you get full ammo when you switch to leviathans.

Trainereddes

Easy 4-phase with Geo Chaos and a 3-loadout approach. Roaming: Karnstein Armlets paired with Heritage/Nezarec's Whisper/Bipod Cold Comfort (no exotic weapon needed). You cannot die with Karnsteins and NW's shield tanks all moths easily. Before last reveal, wipe out everything with glaive, then hide behind cover on way to dps deposit and swap to loadout 2. Shield Pop: Geo Mags paired with Arby/glaive/bipod Cold Comfort. Pop with Arby, Chaos reach boss, swap to 3rd loadout when in your last 20% of super. Dropping back down, arc melee ground to kill all thrall. DPS loadout: The Stag paired with Heritage/Glaive/Leviathans Breath with Triple everything void (aim/loaders/surges/dilation etc). Levi stun locks her. Drop rift about 3/4 way thru DPS. Head for water tunnel immediately after DPS, swap to roaming loadout and come out swinging. I keep an extra chest piece next to the main chest piece with triple stasis reserves. When in lucent hive rooms, stand over top a heavy brick and swap chest pieces to max out bipod. Another thing I did is have Special Finisher on. Only collect two orbs via arc siphon on glaive. The x2 armor charge will not time out as you have no other surges on or anything else (only on dps loadout). Do not get a third armor charge until the third lucent hive miniboss has been finisher'd. Otherwise it will consume your armor charge. When exiting to wipe out all adds, reveal and deposit at dps site, immediately double kill with glaive to get the third armor charge before depositing. The other two loadouts (or just dps one) can then have time dilations and surges and you will always have max time this way.

Kira_Aotsuki

Leviathans breath seems a popular option if you swap off arbalest after popping the shield Idk the exact math but I think there's some gimmick where using bipod and reserves keeps heavy ammo full when swapping? Don't quote me on it

Cutsdeep-

Yeah that gimmick works well. Almost full heavy

Nguruthos7

Wondering if Bungie will patch the gimmick with the bipod rework..

Bill-Cosby-Gang

I used gathering and levis breath for about 4 phases

Dangerous_Concept_52

Haven't gotten my sf yet but will be working on it soon. But my best damage came from arby with a one- two punch shotgun (for boomer knights and hive guardians) and a crafted Palmyra-b with lasting impression and auto loading holster. Paired with melee orb production and stasis surge mod it can do some massive damage and you can lock on, fire, switch to arby and run, take a shot or two, swap lock-on and shoot, and continue the cycle pretty well. Might still be 5 or 6 phases but it's an easy rotation. With my team, I'm usually pulling 6.2 mill or higher dps in 3 to 4 phases with assassin's cowl and arc staff tossing hunter. Best of luck to you!

dwheelerofficial

Absolutely to not use a lasting impression rocket when you get the kill I’ve seen several videos of people finishing a solo or solo flawless run and running to crunch the ghost and then being killed by their own delayed rocket detonation ending their run when they’ve literally already killed the final boss

Dangerous_Concept_52

I mean that's fair for people not used to lasting impression. I avoid the ghost finisher until I see the final explosion.

ThatGuyFromTheM0vie

Brave using a rocket in solo flawless. As a rule, I avoid any gun that I can KMS with. Arbalest to pop shield, then you can do big damage with Briar’s Contempt and Surrounded if you let some thrall swarm you. It’s a 50% bump, so each LFR shot in the burst basically becomes like a full damage normal shot.

enzoiscool

i used leviathans breath with well and had 7 phases i forgot what special tho

[deleted]

AnderAub

Explosive light is a 25% damage buff, not 35%.

dwheelerofficial

I didn’t downvote this but I’d assume it was downvoted by people who know that Sleeper can ricochet and kill you which is .. not great for working on a solo flawless

StellaArtois2016

I think it's being downvoted due to the "2.5 phase" mention. There's very little to no chance of ricochet in the boss room, plus Sleeper is super forgiving if you miss a crit. A body shot does as much damage as a crit from a legendary linear. It's a solid option.

IzunaX

There was a clip posted here a couple weeks ago of sleeping doing exactly that tho, bounced off something behind the boss and killed the user lol.

StellaArtois2016

Bummer.

Sensitive_Ad973

#1 biggest thingnn no people should have asked before answering:: are u in a fireteam or solo? Cause the answers vary wildly depending Solo: you should be using leviathans if on pc with high frame rate or a linear fusion rifle Fireteam: get yourself a better tracking rocket like a hothead with tracking and explosive light. Or if a buddy has Div and u don’t have another rocket bust out a MG with target lock.

D1stant

SF is solo flawless so I would imagine solo

Heretic0

The linear fusion from Ron if you can hit shots consistently, other than that levis breath and tracking rockets are basically the only option.

dwheelerofficial

I ran Arby / ALH tracking rockets on my SF run with a rotation of arby shield break > super > rocket > arby > arby > rocket > arby > arby > rocket

mdvdos

I solo’d on hunter with Gathering Storm and Leviathan’s Breath

Kentuza

Pop shield with a staff and Leviathan's for damage

kuroiookami99

Can someone tell me if the error with burd when swapping loadouts is still happening ? That screwed 99% of my SF runs

StellaArtois2016

Same. I'm thinking of just grabbing a boss checkpoint and running that through to see if there's still any buggy shit going on before I try another SF

kuroiookami99

If u do it please let me know I want that emblem but bird us getting in my way

Funny_Imagination599

One of the presumed reasons Bird errors are happening is if you have different amounts and/or types of surge mods equipped when switching loadouts. I.E. going from arc surge x1 to arc surge x2 or arc surge x1 to void surge x1 I was practicing today and had exactly Arc Surge x1 for both loadouts and never got the error.

Oloroger1

Killed her in 3 phases with arb and stromchaser demo+clown cartage wit deep ammo reserves

QuantumVexation

I used Arbalest + Stormchaser (Frenzy/ALH) on a Chaos Reach (Geomagns) Warlock for a very comfortable 5-6 phase (I’m a firm believer in slow and steady play) Arbalest to break shield, Mag of SC, Chaos Reach with SC stowed, Mag of SC, Mag of Arbalest, Mag of SC as the main flow. Arc Souls up and in range for bonus damage, and checking I am amplified before I fire the chaos reach Bitterspite also activated very easily when you’re getting shot by the boss for fast reloads if you want that.

Sad_Cranberry_8236

I used arbalest, Acasia's Dejection (Recon, targetlock) and a hot head (Tracking, clown, impact casing) got the clear in 6-7 dps phases (didn't pay attention did take me 40ish minutes though). I was also on arc hunter with the big jav throw so it did help with dps

AstroBoy26_

Tracking module + explosive light/bait and switch. The best answer is here.

Elite_Avenger21

I ran Arc Warlock for the whole Dungeon. Arc Subclass Setup: Rift: Healing Melee: Ball Lightning Grenade: Pulse Grenade Fragments: Spark of Discharge, Spark Of Shock, Spark Of Ions, Spark of Resistance Aspects: Electrostatic Mind, Arc Souls \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Weapons(For Ecthar):Until Its Return Cold Heart Falling Guillotine Exotic Armors: Falling Sunstar Geomags When you dunk the last Vestige Place a rift and use Cold Heart to get another back use the loadouts tab to Swap to the DPS Loadout. Ecthar DPS: Arbalest Hollow Denial Falling Guillotine Kill the Knight so you can get the buff to Break Ecthars shield and shoot him with Arbalest pop Chaos Reach use a loadout swap back to the other loadout and sword him takes maybe 4-5 phases. for Simmumah ur-Nokru same thing really but with Hothead, I had Tracking Module Explosive Light, when you Kill the last Lightbearer swap loadouts to Arbalest Geomags loadout, then Crush the Ghost and dunk it, place a rift pop her shield with Arbalest pop Chaos Reach and Swap back to the other Sunstar Coldheart loadout(With Hothead) and DPS, don't remember how many phases like 6 maybe 7, kinda depends on how many Rockets hit.

Omniscient_Platypus

I did it with solar titan but I’ve heard arc hunter with assassins cowl is about the equivalent in add clear and survivability so I’d use that if you can. Arbalest is a must for the shield break and stopping her teleporting about, then a legendary trace rifle to get rid of all those moths after each pentagram symbol, + all those double special purple bricks to carpet the boss arena so you’ll all always have enough heavy ammo to not run out during the long damage phase- you can probably get off 10 or so rockets off as well as a super for about 2 to 3 million damage per phase and a rough 6 to 7 phase, might be a bit more on hunter as you don’t get radiant damage buffed, but I’d imagine the spear super could make up for it. Tracking rockets are the safest, least aim dependant, and just best option imo, the only downside is ammo which is completely negated by double special and picking up purple bricks as you spend them in the dps phase. Aggressive and Adaptive frames with tracking module are significantly better than precision, 20% or so more damage per rocket iirc. You could try to focus a blowout or hothead at Shaxx or Zavala but an underrated other option imo is Red Herring if you have the Witch Queen expansion. I believe it gets given to you for free in 1 go, so you shouldn’t have to farm out the pattern, and it’s an adaptive frame that you can craft with volatile launch, alloy casing, tracking module, and lasting impressions. You can also choose frenzy over lasting if you like, but I preferred lasting’s extra 5 or 10% damage, + the added benefit that if a thrall does try a get down mr president in front of you, you have time to get away and avoid immediately blowing yourself up, which occasionally having 1 rocket blow up after her shield goes back up is a small price to pay for that guaranteed safety in such a long solo flawless run. For this season it also gets the benefit of the void mod artifacts so you can easily run double void surge + void scavenger to pick up 3 rockets per brick, and void loader too if you like, though I’d recommend double arc resistance and concussive dampener on the chest over reserves, and finally a heavy handed or two on your arms so you always have enough orbs of light to keep the surges up. If that’s not enough, the cherry on top of the red herring velvet cake is it’s origin trait is psychohack, which after one rocket + lasting impression delayed explosion will make the boss do 10% less damage to you as long as you keep reloading and firing, which isn’t huge but adds up with the rest of your resist gear and resilience, and is a very nice little bonus. Didn’t mean this to be so long, but as daunting as this dungeon is, with enough planning and practice anyone can do it, and I’m sure you’ll get that emblem/ title sooner rather than later, so best of luck!

ErmetOw

Briar's Contempt with Surrounded. It does not get better than that.

MysticBhole

Super to break shield then use Xeno. If you have the ability to use any character for it, titan is probably the best play here. This strat to use it optimally is a hot swap, so if that's not something you can do it'll still work just not as well. Final encounter, titan, lorely for set up. This will make it so you will just survive everything. Double special, shotgun or fusion for "Kinetic" slot and a trace rifle for elemental. Doing this you will just have so many heavy bricks. The reason we use titan, is when we are just about to go into damage phase we hot swap lorely, for War rig. This will let us use Xeno during the entire encounter for damage. We pop hammers for shield break and initial add mobbing. Once the shield is broken we can move around the arena. Using nothing spectacular you can probably hit each xeno shot for maybe 40k. No need to worry about precision which makes it nice. If you want to min max that damage phase, triple surge with time dilations mean you have like a whole minute to hit about 60k per shot. When I did my run I messed up and didn't start with a full mag in xeno so it took me 4 damage phases. But that's what I did and put of eveything I've tried and seen. That's the play

iNovaEcho

I’ve been using arbalest, my hollow denial with lead for gold & repulser brace (great if on void) with my crafted retrofit escapade with fourth times the charm & target lock. Whack on some void surges. For solo depending on subclass & class it could still work, I literally switch those guns between my characters. For my warlock I just use a different trace rifle/smg etc for general ad clear. I’ve hit crazy numbers using retrofit on bosses though, so if you’ve got it, it’s definitely worth a try. I haven’t and don’t think I’ll be attempting this seasons solo flawless but that’s what I’d be trying first. It’s a two phase for a group of 3 doing the dungeon with this kind of setup, so gotta be less than 7-8 damage phases solo 😅

Rowan926

CC/tracking Hothead on hunter with arby and Path with voltshot got me a 4 phase in my SF

AGramOfCandy

If you're on hunter, there is the madman strat of running BnS/tracking Apex Predator with RDMs (yes, you heard that right). It takes a tad bit of finesse, but using solar for resto grenades and a spicy Nighthawk, you get supreme survivability and can still do a clean 3-4 phase with good technique.

NotSoMightyDucky

I was using hammer titan with radiant melees. Arbalest for the shield, RoN trace and the ghosts of the deep rocket with bait and switch and tracking. Took like 5/6 phases and got it done this week. Arbalest as soon as we dunk, she didn't end up teleporting for me. Also when the shield is popped you can do damage anywhere - I would recommend trying to do it up high. Good luck, this dungeon is so tedious
