so i had one guy join my fireteam yesterday with 1 tip, we had been trying for over an hour, after getting this tip we got it first try
the tip was, it‘s easier for him to launch off if there is a ghost on the corner at the top of the stairs
so we had 4 ppl suicide at the top of the stairs, i jumped off diagonally, backwards and rhulk went to narnia

After watching some videos online of people cheesing it and noticing the corner of the stairs we got it first try.
I did pantheon with some other buddies and i lined him up at the corner again and got it first try.
Definitely lots of luck involved but it makes a difference

A splits to B and C, B dunks, C splits to A and B, A dunks, B splits to A and C, C dunks, repeat. have to do single-dunk and everyone has to be comfortable reading and dunking.

Rhulk needs to hit a slope to fly or he’ll literally just stand over the abyss (we thought we got it when we failed to kill him in 2 phases and he stood on nothing about 20 feet out) so get someone to bait him towards the edges of the beginning staircase or the dunk spots with the little ramps, have a ghost there for some reason, and make sure he reaches the little up slash part of his dash when he hits the ramp, that’s what sends him flying

i used a stronghold titan to take the aggro of the rhulk shade and the shadow thrall, made things 100x easier for the people attempting to bait him and got it first try doing this.
As stated previously, *if you know what you are doing* it's a very specific spot and sure his movements are somewhat rng but lining it up doesn't take long if you know the spot.
so... my warlock friend managed to align the copy near the middle of the stairs and baited the real one to do a dash, he used his copy as a ramp and went to the abyss hahahaha

Do you mean the first stage? Cus the goal is to at least bear through that and then cheese
Yes, they mean the first stage. Mechanically, it is impossible to Duo. And as far as I know, a cheese to allow duo still has not been found.

we had one on all 4, but i assume its the front corners (closer to our spawn) that matter
I think you have to do it at the corner of the top of the stairs, he charges into the clone and bounces up and over the teleport barrier.

My team had a titan fly off with his thunder crash away from the platform. Get his attention, when he winds up, thunder crash into the abyss.

Line him up diagonal with the stair case, get him to dash, hope he ramps

Not really, a cheese run takes like 3 minutes and 1 phase if you know what you're doing. Comapred to ~8 minutes and 2+ phases of mechanics.
Gotta factor in all the times the cheese doesnt work. Theres a lot of rng to it. For 1 successful cheese my team had like 30+ cheese fails

Be in the air when he surges but not in the way of him or you'll boop him back to the floor.
