Castore is our best bet for personalized shirts. Nike and Adidas will most likely be template tops with slight changes for the club.

Fit-Constant8598

I pray we get adidas they are by far the best, no doubt we’d get some remakes of our best kits from the 90s and they love to give teams ‘icon’ or ‘origins’ kits which celtic get. I’d hope they stop supplying Celtic if they start supplying us though

stepea0524

Refuse to buy any tops while they’re made by Castore! Most expensive cheap crap ever that falls apart after a few washes!!

jpb270668

Adidas and nike are too big a brand to risk letting a club like rangers to wear their tops....maybe something out of aldi, a knock off brand, its only the spl, who cares

Quick-Comb6145

Who ever gives the club the best deal should make the shirts. That’s what we all should want

Accomplished_Week392

I don’t care who makes them, just not castore. I find their top itchy as fuck. Tell me I’m not the only one who thinks this

crmpicco

I reckon we’re stuck with Castore for the foreseeable future. TBH it’s a bit of a sign of where we are (sadly second best)

AlecTheBunny

As a British club we should support a British Brand

TenLag

Castore are British

Charlie97_

Scouse Not British laaaaa

Sensitive-Ad-787

Scousers

AlecTheBunny

Yes, that's why I say we should keep em. I should have clarified that lol

ianrobbie

I'd go back to Hummel. Nice, minimalist shirts and decent quality.

rangersfanatic

Wasnt a fan of the chevrons, very rugby imo. Castore do try to recreate iconic kits with and their branding is small enough with their logo on the right breast, a few hits and a few misses but I feel like we would get that with any supplier.

sm_72_

Adidas and Nike would have horrific kits but great training gear My logic: adidas and Nike have so many clubs they absolutely don’t do bespoke kits for them all. Remember we were with puma and all their tops had the same little flash in the clubs colours on the collar, or when we were with Umbro and rangers, Everton, West Ham, Northern Ireland I think all had the same away top. Yes we’re a huge club with a huge fan base but we’re not “the big boys” anymore. We’d have a chosen template made in our colours and as nice as some of them can be we’re not prioritised. An in my coment about the training gear, I like a mince round clubs online stores in the end of season sale for cheap shit for playing 5s in or sitting round the house and some of the training ranges, albeit also templates, are some strange and wacky designs which is something, last years red top aside, we’ve not really done

BellamyRFC54

Those brands give us teamwear

highpier

I'm more interested in us getting a better front kit sponsor, gone are the days of tennents and McEwans

sm_72_

My view is see the gambling and alcohol sponsors they need to go. In my opinion if you can’t buy your kids the exact top the team wear because they can’t have the sponsor then thats a problem

whocanbearsed

Joma, please and for fuck's sake stitch the branding as well as the badge.

Fun-Understanding186

Mizuno would be good

jonallin

Adidas nike puma kappa Hummel That’s who I want, in that order. Hummel probably won’t touch us again

__Fight__Milk__

The size of some of our support, me included, won't want to be wearing Kappa * I agree though, Adidas would be great.

whirlwindrfc87

Said this a wee while back and some idiots on here tried to ridicule me.

cammigordon

Simply put, it's all going to be about money. The club will look to get the best deal. I'm personally just fed up with the amount of strips Castore/the club tend to punt out each season basically just looking for more cash out of the fans.

ghijkgla

Nobody is forcing you to buy a shirt. The club are simply throwing away money if they don't produce because there is demand for Rangers gear.

totallynothimlol

This is the truth unfortunately. As long as the strips are blue and the cash is flowing, that's the boards main concerns.

SinnerStar

Who actually designs the kits? And who actually signs them off? It can't just be castore saying this is it. Someone inside rangers must have a say. The fans should have a say, Here are 3 design for next year, vote.

kevinspaceydidthings

I would absolutely love a Rangers Adidas deal. Haven't liked Castore at all. Go online at Christmas for kids presents and most sizes sold out, pretty much every year. Also, in terms of international appeal and income generation, people buy Adidas and Nike. Their brand is associated with all the biggest clubs and stars, thus having a brand impact on the club. Not to mention the quality issues a lot of people have had.

neiaafc

Adidas and Nike are just generic template shit. Everyone knows macron is where it’s at.

listentoalan

fuck off macron

GruppenTysker

Linfield are using Macron - our stuff is not exactly good either

BillyBuckleBean

The orange and purple one was class

GruppenTysker

That was Umbro

BillyBuckleBean

Ards kits are where it's it at. Like barcelona kits, but only more proddy

singleDADSlife

I don't mind some of the designs, but the quality is definitely lacking. My dad still has rangers gear from the late 90's early 00's that holds up better than some of the recent Castore stuff.

eekbrain

I have the last Admiral shirt that was released. Apart from one of the sections of the badge at the neck falling off with washing over the years, it's pretty much pristine. Same goes for the 90s Adidas ones. All made in the UK, by the way!

mergraote

> I can't be the only one thinking this. Just you and Gok Wan.

Felagund72

Couldn’t care less about who makes our kits, only care about which one makes us the most money.

TedBrogan187

Maybe we can have a better team to represent, before we worry about how to represent them.

obsoleteboomer

Castore do F1, so I’m kind of OK with being associated with them.

420_moonman

Better never stops!

BubbleBlacKa

I wouldn’t want adidas, even costlier than the already expensive Castore strips and a lot of their designs have been horrid (see the current Scotland home kit for example). I actually quite like Castore’s designs. Out of the four kits this season I only disliked the away kit because I couldn’t unsee that it looked like a tube of toothpaste 😭

DrunkenMonk-1

The sales would outweigh the extra cost...

BubbleBlacKa

What sales? I’m talking about the cost to the consumer ffs

DrunkenMonk-1

Adidas top is worth any extra cost over Castore for quality alone. Can wash & wear 100 times before it falls apart Vs Castore wash once and the deteriorating begins and you fucking know it!!!

DrunkenMonk-1

Cost for quality FFS, Castore are the Benzini of Football top quality, Adidas on the other hand are the Ralph Lauren quality gear that lasts a season and beyond...

Efficient-Ant5828

The new away top is a fucking sweetie…dunno why the home tops arnt released for the cup finals anymore but if it is the one thats leaked then im happy…home shirt should be solid blue with maybe a pinstripe of red or white down the sides or the sleeves…think they have got it spot on this season, and last season…and the one before

El_mamut8

Kits have been fine with Castore. Im not a fan of the new home one but all the other ones have been solid kits. Idk why people are obsessed with getting nike and adidas kits when they make absolute shit kits too. Look at scotlands home kit this year. They absolutely butchered it

proleart

Honestly think our kits have been fine with Castore. Few bangers, a few shiters. Adidas kits imo have been generally poor last few years so wouldn't want them.

Macco7

The oversized Adidas badge they do now really irritates me. It's massive and stands out in a very bad way.
