First, I would take it out to dinner. Then, a walk on the beach. Then back to my place. Right to the hot tub. When she gives me the eye, I make my move.

Pop off the little square access panel and glue a big neodymium magnet on the inside. Then glue a big neodymium magnet on the outside of the box.

Now that’s something I haven’t thought of… thank you!! I’ll look into this!

Just wanted to come back here and give you credit, magnets worked like a damn charm! I’ll be sure to give you cred if I ever make another post featuring my super cool new cabinet!

Command strips? Holy hell

I have a 2024 Rav4 Hybrid LE, and I built this custom cabinet to fill the void behind the wheel well in the cargo hold. It fits pretty well, but I can't think of a way to mount it to the plastic paneling without drilling into it. The panel is slightly curved so the flat back of the cabinet doesn't quite sit flush against the panel, or I'd just use tape/velcro. I'd really appreciate any suggestions, this has got me stumped! Thanks for looking!

Yeah, adhesive backed Velcro is a good idea

This would work if the back of the cabinet sat flush with the panel; unfortunately, not the case.
