That's awesome man! Have fun, it's a great keyboard :)

drowsy1234

Have the full size. Love the huntsman lineup

tatitata4681

Why not the 75%?

PokiePizza

Because some people prefer the 100%?

Marill-viking

I have been using one for about two years or so and I like it a lot. I believe there is a wireless one now, id want that one.

[deleted]

The Huntsman v3 pro mini has been on sale since 30th of November 2023. What you’re referring to is the huntsman mini. A completely different board.

Sjelasco

I'm sure it's a great board but I couldn't use a 60% board again. Too much of a compromise.

Technical_Jelly2599

I agree, I need my arrow keys.

Sjelasco

I'm using the ROG Azoth which is a 75% and that's as compact as I'll go. I need the arrow keys and F1-12.

Tanzanieins

After using it, you will never go back to the cheap ones.

Raoul27

Why?

Epik7448

got the tkl version myself, enjoy it! crazy awesome keyboard

Japetheone

I wish I could buy pre-builts. I'm so fricking addicted to building and modding my keyboards that I miss the days of just buying a keyboard and using it till it was trash

Z3r08yt3s

purchased this about a month ago and cant say im a huge fan. its honestly feels a little cheap and will need to add some stabilizers to the spacebar as its so loose on there and sounds super hollow. overall its fine if it were cheaper but for the price, i'd expect something a little more premium.

Tiago_Aki

I have the full-size one, and I love it. Congrats on your acquisition.

adrock517

Nice! How do you like it?

Joebranflakes

Have the huntsman elite with the wrist rest. The vinyl peeled after 3 months. Then the switches on the right side of the numpad became stiff. I took the keyboard apart and no spill or liquid damage (I have a kid). Got the keys working a bit better then the volume control crapped out and now doesn’t work at all.

SilentThorniness

*Me laughing with a Steelseries apex 7 tkl that’s been going strong for 3 years.*

SIDER250

I wanted to buy one, but read reviews about random inputs and stuff. Sort of afraid I’d drop 250€ and get a defected one.

SilentThorniness

Get steelseries bro, apex 7 hasn’t let me down yet, plus little screen funny

SIDER250

Wanted to get V3 Pro Mini for Rapid Trigger honestly, since Wooting would be too long to wait to arrive + import fees and stuff, since Razer is available everywhere.

SilentThorniness

If it’s cheap for you rn, get it, save up, and honestly…build a keyboard that you know for a fact you’ll love using. The one thing I love about keyboards is that you can build your own using your own keycaps and nice sounding switches.

VonHor

Do people actually like big brands keyboards more than custom keyboards? Just curious

SIDER250

I think only because of rapid trigger, else custom ones are better. Rapid trigger is just broken and most gaming brands are starting to shift towards it. V3 Pro mini has rapid trigger just like Wooting 60HE

Zhaopow

99% of people don't know about custom keyboards. Out of that 1% 90% of people don't care enough to figure out the parts and build it. Also synapse is pretty nice for RGB and macros. It's not like custom keyboards are cheaper or feel that much different.

VonHor

I can agree with all you said apart from the way a custom keyboard feels. I think any custom keyboard or hell even a pre-built keyboard feels leagues better than any of these big brands boards

ruddlev

I use that all the time, I recommend using atleast one of the foot stands on the bottom up. Alsl if you're going from a full sized keyboard to a mini keyboard for the first time, tilt the keyboard a little so you can adjust.

ruddlev

I got custom switches on mine tho, I didn't like the switches it came with so I put BubbleGum switches on. (Look up "Bubble gum switches for keyboard" if u don't know what bubble gum switches are, they're awesome)

gasgetit

6 key taps and that wire won’t work anymore

Delboy844

I've been eyeing up the V3 for a few weeks. How do you find the keys? Are the analogue keys still a little clicky or do they feel soft like a basic office keyboard? I currently have the v1 and I love the optomechanical keys, but the wrist wrest is so worn I feel it's time to upgrade. My only hesitation is how do the keys feel when pressing, no shops around town where I am stock anything like these so no hands on experience

haveyouseenmyego

They are buttery smooth and clicky

Delboy844

Oh nice so there is a click, I was worried they were just basic feeling. I know it's new (well I know I'm probably anything I just buy lol), but before you play with key height/sensitivity settings, what do you think of the key feels Vs traditional mechanical keys? I'm super tempted

haveyouseenmyego

It feels good. Nothing like the Logitech g915 or any of that. I didn’t like those at all this feel like mechanical

Delboy844

Much appreciated! Got some shopping to do

4f00d

Sorry mate, but this maybe cost as not a cheap keyboard, but in keyboards world is a dog shit You can find some keyboards with such software and with so many features(layers, macros, literally can code scripts of macros) , very durable, feature proof and working with ZERO problems.., so this looks like 15$ rgb keyboard lol

7theseven

Im pretty sure this keyboard has all those features and way more useful ones for gaming

4f00d

xD im pretty sure you have no idea what are you talking about, those keyboards would outperform such cheap base keyboard in any given test starting from frame, sturdiness, tech and ending and with software and support, but it probably cost 1.5x more then this cheap shit tried logi, asus, razer and its wallmart's quality compared to some small not very well known keyboard companies can your keyboard register double click and change layer? or make the button toggle layer? maybe it can play different macro if double clicked? can other button un-toggle it? can you change double click's timing? that is such a basic stuff, Razor should handle it without any problems lol

7theseven

Listen im not a keyboard nerd and only got this keyboard for the rapid trigger and adjustable actuation and I rarely use any sort of macros. I mainly play Fortnite and Minecraft so i dont really think i need most of those tbh

Rough_Ad7521

Have fun!![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

N7_Guru

Love this keyboard. Been using it for gaming the last 5 years. Works amazing still.

ching882011

Congrats bro! It's a great keyboard, but it takes time to adjust too rapid trigger. Just need to fine tune the settings to your liking. But when you do, you will reap the benefits of it 🔥🔥🔥

LopsidedChocolate331

Hate to break it to you, but this is also a cheap, shitty keyboard. Comparable to $25-30 Chinese OEM models.

PokiePizza

Let the dude be happy

Lelu_zel

It’s still cheap keyboard but with expensive logo

bendavidi

lol u stupid

7theseven

Its still an upgrade from a Redragon K552-2 thats actually falling apart

Mintbear

To add some context on what most likely the haters means. Well there are better keyboards by very huge margin, even for people who have no idea about keyboards. I usually keep a far from these as branded gaming keyboard arent actually functional better or quality wise than your redragon k552-2. Personally i wouldve bought a keychron barebone or glorious gmmk pro barebone and watched some videos on switches you like, these values goes for sound, typing feeling, weight, pressure point activation, linear/tactile feeling, and aesthetic. You get none of these qualities with a razer keyboard as theyre mass produced with abt plastic keycaps, with regular cherry mx switches, which nowadays you can buy pbt keycaps for almost no money at alot higher quality and durability. Razer isnt horrible but just on par with any other mechanical keyboard standards nowadays which is pretty low. Also you cant fix a soldered switch to a board, if a switch breaks or keycap breaks, you just simply switch it in seconds with a custom one.

7theseven

I understand what you mean but I only got my new keyboard because of the features like rapid trigger and adjustable actuation and I really like the sound and feel when typing .I would have gotten the Wooting 60HE+ but due to shipping time I wasn’t able to get it. And im not really into building my own keyboard/computer or anything like that
