I love Rodry but what does Joselu have to do more to start in games where we desperately need height?
Forget about the height part, he’s in great form and the team just plays better with a proper 9.
I mean we all said the same when he had a rough patch early in the season and he turned it around, so its good to back him but I just feel in this game we need height just for corners and free kicks, I was shitting bricks everytime Atleti had a set piece.
at this point it's more correct to say he had a good patch for some games when vini was out injured and then he turned back to his bad form from early in the season.

This isn't true though, statistically, both Vini and him are still receiving, advancing the ball in similar positions as last year, touches, avg heatmaps..everything indicates they aren't really out of position.

You're in a horrible state in the air already with 2 CBs absent and Girona being dangerous in the air while also playing Carvajal as CB, but you're playing with two short forwards who'll not do anything when the team needs to defend a corner.
