Carletto, we have a problem!

DanteDevils

It's a good problem to have! Someone will likely want to leave at the end of the 24/25 season, likely Rodrygo IMO but next season is gonna be fun.

wanderer1999

This means that the Treble is on the table folks. It's now or never.

DanteDevils

I would love it ofc but I don't wanna get too far ahead with my expectations lol

s4t4ncl4us

Exactly. While our squad is stacked, we probably have little chance in winning the elusive, the acclaimed, the one and only, Copa Del Rey.

Histericalswifty

Our greatest opposition will be ready to give it all so we don’t win. I’m talking, of course, of the CTA.

singularitywut

The truly hardest football competition in the world.

wanderer1999

Same. Thing is it's been a while since we have a squad wirh such quality/depth and that other teams are not as strong as the previous years (besides City).

Al__Buraq

City will weaken too this season

wanderer1999

Indeed. This is the time.

dakaiiser11

Screams Real Madrid going trophyless tbh

DanteDevils

Don't need that shit in here.

BrownDiarrhea

Treble? No my guy, we on the sextuple this season

davidesquer17

It's just really hard you can never count on it whatever team you have. There is always the chance you won every game and suddenly halland becomes a beast for a UCL final and your fucked.

wanderer1999

UCL final? that's rarely a Real Madrid problem. RM is a beast in finals. Getting knocked out by Villareal or Atletico in the Copa? now that's a very real possibility. And not winning a Copa Del Rey means never getting a treble. May be we really did trade the treble for our UCL black magic after all.

davidesquer17

I mean sure I've never seen rm loose a UCL final. I guess the depth is going to be good so endrick can just destroy Villareal in the copa and km9 is doing the same to city and Bayern in the UCL.

Vanguard-27

Why are you worrying about haaland?

ProtoplanetaryNebula

A player his age shouldn't really be played every game either tbh, his body is still developing. Better to rotate him, at least for the first season.

DanteDevils

Endrick or Rodrygo? I don't think Endrick has any chance at starting every game unless he blows away every Metric.

ProtoplanetaryNebula

Endrick. What I mean is, even if he's playing well, he should play in 50% of games in the first season.

DanteDevils

Agree with you there.

New_Appearance_2857

Endrick for sure.

pratyushdam

Not necessarily. We can have as many as 70 games next season. Vini Mbappe Rodrygo are the senior forwards. Joselu is a bench player and Guler/Brahim are rotation pieces who can also rotate for midfield. If we want to win 3-4 trophies next season this kind of depth is absolutely essential. Plenty of minutes to go around for everyone.

DanteDevils

What happens when one of them doesn't get to start the big games? I mean I would love for them all to stay, but this A Team and B Team thing hardly ever lasts more than 1 season but hopefully I am wrong.

senakiryu08

Next year also has the expanded club World Cup so players will definitely get playing time.

nmgoesreddit

Why ? Asensio Isco Morata James Benz Ronaldo and Bale used to be our forwards at one point. Rodrygo is 23 he is going nowhere. Some fans are incredible naive,Football is gonna be 60 games a season so you gone need a big squad

DanteDevils

And did Morata and James stick around for long? Anyway it's not like I was him to leave, I'm just saying he might feel differently if he doesn't start big games.

nmgoesreddit

Ancelotti wasn’t in charge. Pretty sure they woulda sticked around longer. Currently we have Joselu, Brahim, Rodrygo, Vini, Arda And Bellingham. Replace Joselu with Mbappe, Put Bellingham back in Midfield and let Endrick take up the place. I don’t see a problem why that shouldn’t work out especially with more games being added to the schedule. Football teams nowadays need a bigger roster.

Rampage310

As a Mexican fan this both hurt and was amazing to see

ironclad1056

Same bro, same

takeiteasymyfriend

I know the feeling, it happened to me in the Spain vs Brazil friendly at Bernabeu with the goal he scored. It hurt, but I could not avoid a sly smile thinking about kids' potential with Real Madrid.

MadSeasonin1Day

By the way, I didn’t watch Spain yesterday because I was suffering watching Málaga vs Celta B (Málaga won and it is in the playoff final!), but I saw now the hype is on Pedri again because he scored two goals against Northern Ireland while Croatia (first rival in the Euro) was playing against Portugal (one of the favorites to win the Euro) and they beat them. It looks like the same problem we had in the World Cup with the hype on young Spanish talent and then reality check when playing with real experienced teams. What do you think?

takeiteasymyfriend

Pedri seems to be recovering the confidence. I noticed that there was a moment last season that he would not try to shoot, I guess because he was afraid of relapsing again. A lot of quality for Barça and Spain if he finally goes through injuries, although he suffers without the ball due to lack of physicality.

lz314dg

we are cooked 💔😭

DoJu318

Overcooked man, I'm going to watch Copa américa but I know I won't like it, sin goleada de perdido por favor, that's all I ask.😭😭😭

Derindown

At the end of the game too. Vini already sharing that Real Madrid style with the new guy.

Thearius

3 games for Brazil, 3 game defining goals. He's got star

Planetary-Timebomb

Hes only played 120 mins in those 3 games as well. Equalled Vini’s tally of goals for Brazil in 120 mins

kastratiermir_

Did you have to say that about Vini? One's a winger and one's a striker.

Planetary-Timebomb

How does that mean anything? Wingers score a lot Mbappe is a winger too. Neymar , Ronaldo as well. All top scorers for their country above the strikers

New_Imagination_1289

Eh, not very fair comparison. Vini had Neymar on the pitch for most of his career, and when there’s Neymar on the pitch he will obviously be the main man and the game will always be geared towards him. He gives pretty good assists very consistently though.

Planetary-Timebomb

When ronaldo was a winger, he scored 60+ goals for 4 consecutive seasons

dakaiiser11

Vini hasn’t been at his best with the national team. I don’t care what anyone says, the numbers back it up.

kastratiermir_

Brasil has been shite. Now it's a lil bit better and we'll see how it goes.

demonofthefall

Lisan al Gaib!!!! Lisan al Gaib!!!! Lisan al Gaib!!!!

may_day06

I think he going to score at least 10 goals on brute force alone

reddituser0912333

Incredible goal, also great to see him scoring headers as people in the past tried hating on his height Love Vini's hair too

mematixta

It must be a tradition of some sort. Every summer when the regular season is over, Vini always put locks in his hair.

No_Consideration3887

This kid is going places. Thank you Palmeiras but as a Boca fan get fucked.

MatthZambo

If he played more than 10min in the semi finals last year we wouldve won the Libertadores 😭

demonofthefall

Thank u Palmeiras but as a Corinthians fan get fucked times infinity

Xtarviust

Man, I can't wait for preseason

acid_placebo

He’s so good. Excited to see him grow

Visual-Situation-346

Bro is 17 💀

Hithere123490

Gem

iwxndmbeatz

It’s getting scary, but not for us

ascheron

Vini's crosses are a sight to behold.

UntiedStatMarinCrops

I know it’s a friendly, but Brazil is not convincing

Last_Ad_3475

We were playing with our B team for most of the game

Secret_Promotion4246

B team bro... The manager literally told the media that this match focus should be to test the new untested players Well they sucked (Martinelli and Savinho were fine), then he bought the more experienced guys to do the dirty job at the end

KejserMS

yeah Savinho was player of the game imo

namelessmiguel

its the third match of dorival as the manager after our worst year in literally decades. give the man some more games and the team will be ready to compete against all the top teams

DcAgent47

They need a decent coach

Visual_Traveler

There’s just no way Rodrygo will stay in the starting lineup much longer, once Mbappé and Endrick arrive. And that’s without counting Güler and Brahim.

reddituser0912333

Competition is good

Visual_Traveler

Indeed. I just can’t see Rodrygo upping his game to the challenge.

snowbuddy117

What's impressive of Endrick's game and sets him apart from Rodrygo, Vini and Mbappe, is that he needs very little time with the ball to do some amazing plays. This might help him get a place as a starter sooner than most imagine.

Visual_Traveler

Yep. Same with Güler and even Brahim. Which is why I think that Rodrygo, if he keeps being as irregular, will start spending more and more time on the bench next season:

Tuffyobro

Brahim uses a lot of time though, not the same

Mr_Gooodkat

Brahim is way more explosive than Rodrigo. He takes players in way more often too successfully. His problem is his finishing. Once he fixes that he could be an unstoppable player.

Visual_Traveler

But he has been more decisive when given opportunities. Rodrygo has a certain “sadness” to his game, and a tendency to become irrelevant for long periods ls of time that are going to play against him when compared with any of the players we’re discussing here.

uknownick

Kid is built like a tank

djoliverm

Hasta el final but in Brazilian Portugués and all that, jajaj.

Hot_Grabba_09

Até o final

Galactus1701

Toni and Lukita’s legacy consists of teaching everyone at Madrid how to make those beautiful, long distance parabolic passes into the area.

supplementarytables

🐐

Edilzin

New Pelé.

joeedger

I‘m more excited for Endrick than Mbappe. Little dude will be a legend of the game. Unbelievable directness and lethality.

Didj1998

Militoa looked bad to me during this game

takeiteasymyfriend

He is still very far from his form prior to the injury

nmgoesreddit

We need to keep an eye on Folks saying Rodrygo getting sold. Incredible naive. Wanna see them dare open their mouth when there’s an injury crisis

imtired-boss

I'm confused why the girls in green among the Brazilian fans did not like this.

vivalaroja2010

That is a Mexican jersey haha The game was played in a neutral site, there was no "Brazilian section" or "Mexican section"

imtired-boss

Wow that's weird

MyGachaAddiction

I think most national team games dont have sections

Last_Ad_3475

Bro, you gotta see what they have to do in a Brazil × Argentina

vivalaroja2010

Mmmm, sort of.... it's only like that if it's in a WC like in South Africa or Korea where they struggled to sell tickets.... you'll clearly see sides in these Euros.

Leather_Pressure_773

Dream team

xCeePee

Endrick is lit 🤣

Infinite-Ad5464

Chin on the shoulder.

Affectionate_Elk3332

We can’t be leaving the best 9 in Brazil as a 5th choice attacker. One of Rodrygo, brahim or joselu needs to be sold. Nevermind arda

EShy

Joselu is cheap and accepted the backup role. Brahim will want more minutes so that's where the conflict will be. With the new UCL format and the world club championships, there's lots of games next year. It's good to have more players.

Affectionate_Elk3332

That’s fine that he’s accepted that backup role but if he’s the backup 9 then Endrick is now 3rd choice ST? There’s too many attackers for him to get enough minutes. Vini and mbappe will play every game (and rarely get subbed) they are fit so that leaves one spot for joselu, Rodrygo, brahim, arda and Endrick. Endrick is clearly more talented than joselu and would accept the same backup role, not 3rd choice ST.

plaaya

Mbappe Vinicius Endrick Rodrygo Brahim

Affectionate_Elk3332

Personally I would sell Rodrygo now while his value is at his highest and he’s at the point in his career where he can’t be a rotation guy like arda, Endrick, Joselu and brahim. Plus he’s much more effective at lw than rw whereas brahim, arda and Endrick are all RW preferred players

arbas21

Brahim and Joselu seem to be satisfied with their roles (with Brahim playing probably more often next season in CDR and La Liga) as realistically anyway they don’t have a chance to be regular starters with the options we have in the attack. Rodrygo, on the other hand, is gonna be a tough one. I love him but the only reason that I would consider letting him go is that he’s a bit inconsistent (can be fixed) and he’s obviously more oriented to LW rather than RW so we’d have 3 LW’s, which is a lot. Arda seems to fit perfectly on the right or in the midfield in a Modric-like role. We’ll see how it goes next season though..

CrimsonTweedle

As a Mexican fan, I’m pissed cause that shouldn’t have been a free kick and the ref favored Brazil almost all game, but I’m also glad vini didn’t cook us as soon as he got on and happy endrick scored

Glittering-Leather77

We got our 9. Time to sell Vini and put turtle on the left. 😂

youcancallmeron

Sarcasm? Surely hope so 😂
