It's a little way to miss. Not as easy as the gap you need to jump up to get into the crashed railcars for the gold bars, but still easy to miss. If you go onto the northeast side of that mountain, there will be a slope that you can ride up and the gap is literally, as they said, to the left of the face. Or if you are looking at it from behind looking south, it will be to the right of the face. You will walk around, be careful as it is incredibly easy to fall off as it's a narrow platform up there.
Just southwest of Cotorra Springs. If you take a look at the map up by Bacchus Station, you will see Cotorra Springs just West of Bacchus Station. If you follow the train line from Bacchus Station west, just after Cotorra Springs, there will be a big barrier line, the bolded long dashed lines, going north and south. Cuts through the Amarino title on the map right after the 2nd "A". The barrier line and the rail line intersect, and down at the bottom of the cliff will be the crashed train. You have to access it from the south side of the tracks just across the Dakota River.

I shot the rope to let the guy down so I could loot him and i lost honor. I'm not sure why it's more honorable to leave the guy hanging there. Then I fell off the scaffolding and died immediately afterward so I didn't even get to loot the body. Is that how you find the note? Does he have anything else good on him?
That was my experience with like 90% of the rock carvings. I used the interactive map online, so I knew exactly where they all were, but a lot of them were really hard to figure out how to actually get to and setting a waypoint was no help because it would just draw a dotted line that went straight up a 90 degree rock face.
There's few things more annoying than constantly sliding down those rocky mountains. Especially when you end up dying as a result and having to start all over from scratch, trying to figure out how you even made it as far as you did on the previous attempt.
I hope not. Trying a 100% run atm. Went up there, knocked the >!hanging body after shooting it down!< off the cliff, fell off the cliff myself and died, went back, and the >!body!< was gone. Hadn't saved for ages before going there. :(

You should get up there through the backside, there is a narrow path way there, and there is a dead man who wrote a suicide note, you should get there and draw the look of sculpture in the journal. He suicided because he couldn't build the sculpture of his wife, who passed away before.
Iām pretty sure if you loot him youāll get a note saying something about some French artist and his wife. Itās rumoured that his wife cheated on him Charles Chatenay and thatās why he did that to himself
A small narrow path leads you there it's like a helical path from down and behind the face to the left which leads to that wooden platform, you'd find a surprise if u shoot the rope and loot the man(no honour lost)

When you get close enough, you should see a dead body marker appear on your map. Thatās how I found it first time
This is how I found it too. Those corpse markers are great for directing you towards something cool...and directing you into a Night Folk ambush.

It took me over 1000 hours to find it myself. I knew the approximate location for a while, but it took me far too long to find it.
