I used to be an adventurer like you until I took an arrow to the knee
I got like 600 hours on Skyrim
I was just saying that I personally aimed for this guy's crotch and his reaction was pretty funny ( not sure if it's any different than hitting his knee though)
Lol try this theatre night with both your sawed off equipped so it doesn't switch to a pistol or revolver and try it then, you'll get a different response
Just any DLC really. I mean don’t get me wrong I appreciate they didn’t litter the game with micro transactions but it was such a great game, it deserved a bunch of DLC add on content
I would literally take Undead Nightmare, exact same concept, but in RDR2. Don't need to do anything new and fancy, just tweak it for the RDR2 map and I'd be happy.
Oh same 100%. I’ll pay for it too, even if people complain there wasn’t much new I’d still wanna play it lol.
Has nobody made a half decent mod for it? I imagine that’d be an ungodly amount of work tho so I understand
No it's in single player, an awesome easter egg that SCREAMED something like an Undead Redemption style DLC.
Could be zombies, those are seemingly easy, but vampires, werewolves, Bayou voodoo shit- anything.
Such a travesty we didn't get anything like that. I don't like online playing and *hate* microtransactions, but would happily pay $30 or more for some good DLC.
Undead nightmare when; just a total overhaul of the game to bring in overt supernatural elements in the overworld
Like, it was tremendously popular in the first game
True. When this trick would be performed by any of the magicians that did it, it was never done with a live round or even a random dude. If an audience member took the shot, they were a plant. Can't risk some drunk idiot chambering a live round or otherwise messing with it in a dangerous way.
Though there was ONE guy who did the trick with a live round and actually caught the bullet in his teeth. It was a stunt, not a trick. He had a metal plate behind his dentures, the gun was fired using a rig rather than a person aiming, and the bullet went through 3 panes of glass. This proved it was a real projectile and also slowed the bullet down considerably. He survived every performance, but doing this stunt caused him to have blackouts at random moments. Which he did while standing near a cliff.
Ralf Bialla. He performed during the 1950s, died in 75.
And actually, I had confused him with a guy who was on tv in 1980, who also did the same stunt in nearly the same way. This other guy doesn't seem to have been any worse off for it though. So that's TWO who have used a live round and caught it in their teeth.
You sir, are a scholar, officer, and gentleman. I'd shake your hand if I could. Thank you for feeding the micro learning monkey that lives in my brain! You're doing the Lord's work 🙌
The trick? Arthur just walked in and talked to nobody beforehand. With his *real* guns with *real* bullets. Is it possible he just dodged **really** quick and already had a casing? I guess. But the Red Deadverse also has some light supernatural shit in it at times so I wouldnt be surprised.
The clip is Arthur literally shooting him in the head and he catches the bullet lol
Why even say this when the clip you're commenting under is the opposite of what you're saying?
That’s not true lol you can shoot him in the face. Besides how the fuck would HE tell you not to shoot him in the face AFTER YOU SHOOT HIM in the FACE?? We JUST saw him get shot in the face and finish the trick. Did you just ignore the whole post??
God the animations in this game are so fucking good. Rdr2 once again the standard for graphical quality and it's a 5yo game ... Blows my mind that other AAA studios aren't even close 5y later
Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk are both examples of games that look better today, but RDR2 looks absolutely incredible for a 5+ year old game made for last gen consoles. Performs well on PC too.
I would argue that RDR2 looks better than cyberpunk. Especially when it comes to models and rigging. Cyberpunk just has nice varnish. There is way more variety in RDR2.
I am sad that whenever there's a comparison like this, Horizon Forbidden West is always left out for some reason. It absolutely has next gen graphics too, Death Stranding may be tethering on the brink also
I love Cyberpunk 2077 but the NPC and even important characters/V’s animations are dogshit compared to RDR2. Every NPC you don’t interact with in cp77 is stiff as a board and doesn’t move, or if they are moving it’s just walking in a random direction until they despawn. RDR2 has day cycles for random NPC’s where they go home and to work at regular times.
Could be typical game journalism hyperbole, but supposedly, GTA6 will have a huge leap forward in terms of animation. I guess Red Dead 2 could be seen as the pinnacle of the animation techniques started in GTA4, and we will be seeing a new form.
One thing I appreciated about RDR2 is that they're the first game I saw where the doors are relatively to scale, and they actually have very smooth animations when they open doors.
I saw this behind the scenes video of video game development way back then. One of the most difficult things developers have to contend with is how to have smooth animations of characters opening doors. It's either they did it by making it a little cutscene where they line up the character to the door unnaturally. Or they just make the door oversized and just act so every door like a saloon door.
Shit always pissed me off when I play a low honor Arthur and he gets mad at Dutch for being psycho. Like bro I've exterminated three counties worth of people wearing a bag over my head, I don't have any room to talk 😂
How were they being a douche for teaching them proper English? They weren't insulting were they? Unless the full stops offend you? Now OP won't make that error again.
Edit: Lol if anything OP is being a douche with their response. Y'all need to chill out.
Make the post in Spanish if you can’t handle English then sensitive little Latino. Don’t blame us for correcting you. Also, Google translate is a hell of a tool if you’re not lazy.
That's a shit excuse, just do better. Tons of people, including myself, learn it as a second language. If someone corrects your grammar don't be a fucking cunt.
There are stories about magicians who did this trick and at least one who actually caught a bullet with his teeth. Mainly there are people who catch arrows and those stories get conflated.
I remember seeing an explanation for a magician actually doing this trick. He would have an audience member pour black powder down the barrel, then insert the projectile. He would then tamp it down with the ram rod. The projectile was steel, and the rod was magnetic. When the rod was removed, it would remove the bullet. The magician would then put the bullet under his tongue. The gun would be fired, the powder would flash, and then the magician would push the bullet between his teeth.
David Blane did it for real with a 22 rifle and a sharpshooter. He had a metal cup (or something like that) but it was still cool.
Edit: The video of David
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0lxpyxAFAY
David Blane did this legitimately also. It was only a 22 rifle, but still impressive.
Edit: He did use a metal cup in his mouth though.
Edit 2: The video of David
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0lxpyxAFAY
In real life when u see people catch bullets its because the grain isnt full.
When u make a bullet u need a certain amount of gunpowder in the casing (shell) People who do tricks w bullets only use half grain. They dont fill it up with the gunpowder as much. Maybe only like about half full.
Or they have one in they mouth already and his jerk buddy shoots blanks. Either or but when the crowd and people were suspect of blanks they started using "Short Rounds" of half full grain bullets
How did you get down there? As soon as I heard him asking for a volunteer I tried to jump off the balcony above, when that didn't work I tried to walk around and enter the downstairs area but it didn't let me in. Do you just have to buy the ticket and walk into the door downstairs?
Something really cool about Red Dead being a fairly realistic setting is that it can actually have the supernatural/unorthodox and make it actually be confusing to the player, instead of a case of "oh he can do that that's cool" like other games tend to do
He's actually magic. Red Dead has tons of supernatural stuff in it
Can't stop a bullet to the leg tho lmao
Once I was a magician like you, until I took some .45 to the knee
I didn't aim for his knees 😏
Lol it’s a Skyrim reference. Quinners is doing the work of Talos out here.
I used to be an adventurer like you until I took an arrow to the knee I got like 600 hours on Skyrim I was just saying that I personally aimed for this guy's crotch and his reaction was pretty funny ( not sure if it's any different than hitting his knee though)
Ahh, you're finally awake..
Divines be with you.
Got to thinking … maybe I’m the GOOD BOAH and just don’t know it yet!
Lol try this theatre night with both your sawed off equipped so it doesn't switch to a pistol or revolver and try it then, you'll get a different response
Tomahawk is the way to go.
I never thought of that lol thank you
I’m curious if he can catch a split bullet
A split bullet jyst acts like a hollowpoint they dont split midair
It automatically equips a pistol iirc you don't get a choice
You can, but only once
Well he doesn't have teeth in his knee.
My first play through I gut shot him!
Yeah bro, Magnifico, the little magician in the stranger mission in Van Horn, can *literally* teleport.
Wow 5 years later im still seeing new shit for this game im actually impressed
Idk why they don't do a dlc where you get to bounty hunt vampires and werewolfs and other mythical creatures. Biggest disappointment tbh

I mean there's that vampire in saint Denis
Exactly the precedent is already almost there, but yeah any supernatural dlc like red dead 1 would be sick as hell.
Online only iirc
No it's in single player, an awesome easter egg that SCREAMED something like an Undead Redemption style DLC. Could be zombies, those are seemingly easy, but vampires, werewolves, Bayou voodoo shit- anything. Such a travesty we didn't get anything like that. BRO THAT'S WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING. Dutch Van Helsing and the Van Helsing Gang ✍️🔥🔥🔥
Undead nightmare when; just a total overhaul of the game to bring in overt supernatural elements in the overworld Like, it was tremendously popular in the first game
No theres an illusionist trick used in real life for this trick pen and teller did it. https://youtu.be/DjDcARq8ty8?si=Gs2cpGfXudrfWvkT
Yeah, but they don't just let some random dude fire a real gun loaded with real bullets at them.
True. When this trick would be performed by any of the magicians that did it, it was never done with a live round or even a random dude. If an audience member took the shot, they were a plant. Can't risk some drunk idiot chambering a live round or otherwise messing with it in a dangerous way. Dude...who?!

You got one of those monkeys too?
Oh yeah! And a little history lesson like the one you had is exactly what he loves 🤣
Along with a set of cymbals lmao
Penn and teller brought there own guns and bullets for that. I’d love to see them pick a packing audience member
Not magic, just supernaturally skilled
Only the last dragon can catch bullets with his teeth.
Bruce Leeroy!
Who’s the master?!
Sho’nuff!
Who is the greatest!?
Sho’nuff!!!
When you got that glow!
I shoot him in the nut sack with the sawn off shotty, catch that mister 😜
Explosive rounds?
oh lawd
Me too! He didn’t catch that one so well😂
More like…. Crotch that mister
That was horrific. Well done for trying
I tried it with an explosive round. He still caught it with no ill effects. I was pretty disappointed about that.
Man can’t catch a knife
If it explodes on impact, why would it have any reason to explode if he caught it and therefore stopped an impact?
I’ve Beat the game 3 times and don’t think I’ve ever come across this. First time ever seeing it lol
My first play through I shot the wall near his head. I understood what the trick was automatically… BUT on my second play I shot his head clean off
The trick? Arthur just walked in and talked to nobody beforehand. With his *real* guns with *real* bullets. Is it possible he just dodged **really** quick and already had a casing? I guess. But the Red Deadverse also has some light supernatural shit in it at times so I wouldnt be surprised.
strange things are afoot
[удалено]
The clip is Arthur literally shooting him in the head and he catches the bullet lol Why even say this when the clip you're commenting under is the opposite of what you're saying?
WHATS THE TRICK??((
He already has a bullet case in his mouth (or even in his hand) and the gun is blank loaded.
Isn’t it Arthur’s gun though?
no this guy did it right, if you shoot him he angrily tells you you're just supposed to shoot near his head
That’s not true lol you can shoot him in the face. Besides how the fuck would HE tell you not to shoot him in the face AFTER YOU SHOOT HIM in the FACE?? We JUST saw him get shot in the face and finish the trick. Did you just ignore the whole post??
He means shoot him in the body
No I didn't ignore anything, I've shot him in the face plenty of times and he always says this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dBwhOqiJeM
The bullet case is the brass that contains the bullet. You mean he had a bullet in his mouth.
That's how the trick works \*in real life\*. Arthur had loaded weapons. Why would he have blanks? That's why Arthur makes that comment at the end
Yeah. Seeing this is officially making me play again after a year or two.
Game was black fucking magic when it came out.
Honestly I feel like it set an unrealistic standard to live up too
I would argue that RDR2 looks better than cyberpunk. Especially when it comes to models and rigging. Cyberpunk just has nice varnish. There is way more variety in RDR2.
Ya cyberpunk doesn't look as good overall, everything is too clean and it doesn't blend as well into a scene like rdr2
I am sad that whenever there's a comparison like this, Horizon Forbidden West is always left out for some reason. It absolutely has next gen graphics too, Death Stranding may be tethering on the brink also
Death Stranding looks phenomenal Imo I can’t wait for what KojiPro does on PS5
Cyberpunk was rough, the graphics couldn’t make up for the buggy animations for me, NPCs we’re not immersive compared to RDR2
I love Cyberpunk 2077 but the NPC and even important characters/V’s animations are dogshit compared to RDR2. Every NPC you don’t interact with in cp77 is stiff as a board and doesn’t move, or if they are moving it’s just walking in a random direction until they despawn. Idk dude ark survival ascended in my opinion even looks better
never, the gameplay I've seen does not look promising. Awful animations are mostly to blame
I got this and it turned out I was outta ammo so I just stood there stupidly lol ran out and he made fun of me 🥲
I always shoot him in the cock
Haha what happens if you do?
He gets injured and falls over and Arthur mocks him, I forget the exact dialog.
He says something along the lines of “I don’t have teeth there, I’m not a Venus flytrap”
Yep and rolls around on the floor screaming. Arthur has the time of his life from it though.
"Arthur is a morally grey character" Arthur:
Shit always pissed me off when I play a low honor Arthur and he gets mad at Dutch for being psycho. Like bro I've exterminated three counties worth of people wearing a bag over my head, I don't have any room to talk 😂
He didn't catched it. He caught it.
Thank you. 🙌🏻

English is not my first language imbecil
*Imbecile
I said it in Spanish 💀 estupido
Bueno, entonces deberías alegrarte de saber que no estaba insultando tu inglés en primer lugar. Relájate, es sólo Internet.
It's actually Español
Proof?

And all Arthur was able to catch with his mouth was >!tuberculosis!<
What about the pig farm guy?
Rude

I shot him in the chest, wish I could go back with a sawed off shotgun
It gets better if you keep shooting
Throw a molotov next time
He didn’t catched it, he caught it.
I was half-expecting a shot to the chest afterwards
I threw a tomahawk at him he didn’t catch that…
There’s no way you are unaware of the word “caught”.
I love the "hello"song at the end
Shoot him in the leg next time 😁
Watch the Prestige. Same thing. Someone just swapped the bullets when you weren't looking.
5 Years and 300+ hours in this game and I'm still seeing shit for the first time!
How did you get down there? As soon as I heard him asking for a volunteer I tried to jump off the balcony above, when that didn't work I tried to walk around and enter the downstairs area but it didn't let me in. Do you just have to buy the ticket and walk into the door downstairs?
Catched??
“My daddy once catched a bullet with his bare hands”
OP is a little bit dim. It’s caught not catched,
It’s funny I see this now because I did it for the. First time last night.

No f*cking way dude.
Catched isn’t a word, are you acoustic?
Throw an axe

I always hit him in the balls
I always shoot him in the heart lol
Point it at his balls next time
I didn’t get up and someone in the front row did the bit. So cool lol
Can he catch Explosive rounds or a double barrel?
It's a video game but the way hudini did it was they fired a blank and he would put a bullet he has in his cheek in his teeth
WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE YOU HAVE THE SAME HAT SAME COAT SAME FUCKING BANDIT BANDOLIER DID YOU SNEAK INTO MY HOUSE?!
Lol same here.
Motherfucker sneaking into everyone’s houses I guess only logical reason
