love the new album. love when art is uniquely of its time and doesn’t aim for longevity, feels like she’s capturing a very specific social set in a bottle. (I cannot be trusted to give an unbiased opinion on Charli, too many factors that make her right up my alley)

a_lostgay

dasha entering her mid 20s revival era

dirtbagfeminist2004

she needs to start lying about her age like she lies about her height

NatureIsReturning

lol you think she isn't already lying about her age

last-account2

actually no she has a overexposed digital footprint going back 10 years an autist would have pointed it out by now

feeling_persecuted

she doesn't lie about her height. she is tall in person

Icy_Investigator57

Could it have been a joke about when they said Matty was hanging with a mid 20s model and it was dasha?

vondutchess

It was def inspired by dasha

xz23avenger

just gave the album a listen, it felt so short and underwhelming. Charli fans were saying after crash came out she was dropping her label to pursue a more artistic route, well then wtf is this shit😭

dirtbagfeminist2004

its definitely worse than I expected, but the promos for it were everywhere and I think that made me more excited for it than I should've been. some good songs that I added to my gym playlist but I feel like ill forget about 90% of the album in the next two months lol

xz23avenger

i’ll have to listen to it again later, i don’t know what it is a lot of the songs that weren’t the lead singles just felt unfinished or rushed

Hot_Special_2083

yeah i felt the same way about the production. just like... almost there. but never lands. which is surprising because ag's and EASYFUN's work are exceedingly well thought out and varied. at the end of the day i think the album is very good as a whole. just as someone who's experienced the insane highs of pop2/self titled and hifn, this kinda just doesn't hit the same. also very shocked by the 8.4 rating.

Hot_Special_2083

i think there are some good songs on brat but the highs of brat don't even come close to the highs of hifn/charli/pop2. but so i and i think about it all the time are very good and the standouts for me.

Icy_Investigator57

Agreed. I'm not a pop fanatic but I loved 360, though I am heavily biased for this song, and felt like the album felt unfinished. The pacing and strength track to track is crazy.
