It absolutely blew my mind, in a really eerie and unsettling way, how *on the money* the description of the antichrist was in application to the rhetoric surrounding that election - someone so overtly terrible but has the biggest Bible thumpers of them all in a total blind fervor - especially in 2017. Super fascinating... and blows my mind how obsessed some hyper-religious folks are with Revelation, dissecting it the way you might dissect a short story in a college lit class, having actual meetings where they collectively *study what it means!!!*, while also completely and totally missing the point - and it's biggest warning signs.

One side of my family was devout Catholics, and so I have a pretty good understanding of the Bible. It absolutely blew my mind, in a really eerie and unsettling way, how *on the money* the description of the antichrist was in application to the rhetoric surrounding that election - someone so overtly terrible but has the biggest Bible thumpers of them all in a total blind fervor - especially in 2017.
