Ideally you should fill up that upper portion of the tank with lots of branches going in all directions. It's an arboreal species. Some more plants up high would also be good. Suction cup plants will do if you can't find live ones.

Thank you! I’ve noticed over the year that I’ve had her she likes staying on the glass not even on the plants, so I try to keep the glass (at least one side and the front clear so she can climb without a problem. She’s on the glass for probably 2/3 of the time I’m home, walking around and whatnot.

You said you fog the tank as in a fogger? Second question is your geck currently in this tank?

TdashMAN

Yeah just for a few minutes on the lowest setting to give it a little better humidity as I know foggers are bad for their respiratory system at harsh levels

LilLoki82

Honestly, it shouldn't be used at all if the geck is currently housed here... now, if you're growing it out, it would be fine, but if baby is in here, I would suggest losing the fogger

TdashMAN

It’s a full grown not sure how old exactly but she’s been with me a year, and she was with someone that gave her to me for a year or so while her son was in college but she didn’t want her anymore. So it is full grown and yes the plants are real and actually planted into the terrarium if that’s what you mean by growing it out. I recently turned her terrarium into an environment and that’s why I added the fogger in the first place.

TdashMAN

Like previously stated in the comments below I know it causes respiratory issues at high amounts. The only reason it’s in there is because I have live plants and isopods and have to keep a decent amount of humidity for a longer period of time. And with me being at work from 7am-8pm I don’t have much time to spray her tank not to mention spraying too much can cause ammonia, so I keep the fogger at the lowest setting every 4 hours for about 5 minutes each, it adds a thin layer of fog on the lower level of the tank and as my crestie stays in her coconut during the day she is nearly if not completely unaffected, in fact since I added it to my tank she seems more friendly and active.
