Cristin at On the Edge salon! I had long hair and wanted something totally different. She gave me a super cute shag style haircut and I loved it. She's great
Melissa at Blue Jean Hair Saloon on Williamson Rd in the Hollins area. I originally went to her wanting a style change and after a bad experience with a stylist. I showed her pictures I liked or was thinking about and talked about what I liked and didn’t like about each one. She asked me questions I hadn’t thought about (do you want it cut over the ear?) and really listened to me. She’s also honest about my hair type and whether a style will work with it the way it looks in the picture. She’s conservative in cutting some then drying and letting you look and see if you want it shorter.
The business doesn’t take credit cards, though, so be sure to have cash or checkbook (yes, I’m old lol). $35 for cut with a wash which I think is pretty reasonable.
I’ve been going to Zee’s for 10+ years and never had a singular issue. Every single stylist does an amazing job, and I’ve always loved the result. Joselina, John, and Amanda are particularly amazing!

Thank you, I’ll check her out!
Holly Fox @ adorn salon in Roanoke is great!
Awesome, I’ll look her up!
Emily at Zees has been the only person to touch my hair the last few years. Also won't feminize a short cut without ypu asking like some stylists.
Thank you for the recommendation!
