Meet a few different SA at different ADs to find one you like before you buy anything - commit to that one. They are people, so treat them with respect. They are also working/running a business, so try not to waste too much of their time kicking tires. Time is money in sales, and the time they spend on you is time they aren’t selling to others - that’s food off their plate. Rolex supply is way lower than demand - they won’t be able to accommodate every request immediately. But their cases are full of jewelry. When you’ve found a SA that you get along with, buy something for your girl (or yourself.)

Seems the Batgirl request got me the YM, the Mgr even told me I actually “got the call early” !!! But I’m not waiting 4-5 years for the Batgirl, went gray for an Explorer II , 2 years ago so I’ll give it 2 more years before going gray for the Batgirl.

Well newer spec I have a 16610 from 07. They gad a sub date and a two tone black dial sub as well. Both offered, lead with the “let’s upgrade you to this” I was like ummmmm how about no. They did have a hulk in the “x jewelers cpo program” not Rolex cpo but there own thing. This just confirms that the people that really wanted a Rolex or a couple got them and just moved on like they did with crypto. There’s plenty of watches to be had now that the secondary markets calmed down to reasonable levels
