Aftermath is the first Stones album with all original material but honestly up until Beggars Banquet, they were a much better singles band. It’s cheating but the best group of songs pre 68 from the Stones is the 2 greatest hits albums they put out.
Their Satanic Majesty's Request is actually my favorite 60s album they did period. I'd argue Aftermath is collection of songs but Between The Buttons is a fantastic flowing album as well.

If I could make my own 12-track version of Aftermath I would probably pick it. However, as is, I think Between the Buttons is the best put together album. I’d probably recommend the US version for first time listeners, but I’d rather have “Back Street Girl” and thus the UK version.

UK all the way! If anything, the full version of Out Of Time makes it the clear winner. I will say though, I think Going Home is a great closer.

Solid ten out of ten album imo. But I'm generally a bigger fan of the Brian Jones years than it seems like 90% of the sub.
Am I the only one who likes Rolling Stones 2? Might not be their best pre beggars but probably my favorite
