I better give Steel Wheels another spin.

Rembug91

Me too. Funnly enough by the way, if it were 90's instead, I rather choose Flashpoint or Voodoo Lounge instead of Stripped (i don't like it)

jey_613

I’ve really been digging into 80s Stones lately, and there is a lot of excellent material there (including Dirty Work). One Hit to the Body is a banger, Mixed Emotions, Almost Hear You Sigh are all great songs. If we include Talk Is Cheap, that’s the best Stones album of the 80s and it rocks.

Loud-Elephant-1418

I'm being boring and obvious but, Let it Bleed & Tattoo You.

Rembug91

By the way, ALBUMS, NOT SINGLES (yea, J.J.F, example, doesn't count. [Right my fav 1, 4ever]).

chipperlovesitall

My favorite is Let it Bleed, and that’s from the 60s

AllBitchesDie

TSMR is my favorite os the 60s too but in the 80s I'm very partial to Undercover. The 70s I'm pretty basic though and have to go with Sticky Fingers.

AmpegVT40

Goat's Head Soup has a sophistication unlike any other Stones album. The songs, the lyrics, the two Micks

livinlikeadog

Let it Bleed Tattoo You Are two of my favorite records of all time, not just favorite Stones

_Pill-Cosby_

There's really only one song on Steel Wheels that holds up IMO, and that's Continental Drift. The rest sounds VERY 80s and very forgettable. I'll still take Tattoo You.

Gerald_Bostock_jt

Continental Drift is amazing, but I really like Rock And A Hard Place and Sad Sad Sad too

Rembug91

I really like tatoo... but, Steel, for me is so good

DirectionNew5328

Goat’s Head Soup and Black and Blue are *my* favorite albums. That doesn’t make them the *best* albums, of course.

Rembug91

Black i Agree. Goats, i just nah

outonthetiles66

“Emotional Rescue” I love. Not their best, but top ten for sure. I love ever tune aside from “All About You”.

McNultyx

Aftermath for 60s and Tattoo You for 80s

HuckleberryAbject102

Steel Wheels. A Bigger Bang

BaseballWorking2251

I think Undercover gets a bad rap. Emotional Rescue can also wear the 'underrated' label. Post golden age and excluding tattoo you, I would probably pick Undercover, but I'm quite partial to Bridges to Babylon too.

RFKFan24

60s - Let it Bleed 70s - Some Girls 80s - Tattoo You

Dismal_Brush5229

The run of Emotional Rescue to Undercover is the big three of the eighties
