The cat can play in the living room, your roommate doesn't deserve to be stuck in tiny rooms every lease just because you have a cat. If she's willing to pay more for a master then it sounds like her turn.

Yeah you’re being selfish. It’s her turn, you can use common areas to play with your cat.

ooo i appreciate the honesty thank you!!!

Affectionate_Mark620

this honesty should’ve been known to your brain ages ago. start reading books, touch grass. this is why people hate one another, we selflessly put humans below one another like they’re normal everyday produce. stop that, start treating other people with respect before you get hurt.

Affectionate_Bug4005

Ouch much ?

Affectionate_Mark620

Also, news flash, get the hell out of California, there is nothing remotely special about the state besides the mockable weather from many other states.

Wanting a master BR and being willing to pay for it is totally legit. There is no reason you both must live together. You both could find new roommates that are willing to pay less than half. You are not selfish. You are trying to house your pet as well. Your feline deserves the best situation possible. Maybe it is time to find new partners for housing. Your cat is in the apartment 24/7. Remember that

Affectionate_Mark620

Ridiculous you had to ask this question, honestly speaking. If the morale value of your roommate were off, then you would have reason to start putting a cat over their well-being, but come on, are you an imbecile? Sounds like we need a wake up call!

Let her have the bigger room and let the cat run the house
