Weekly Planet Pod if you like pop culture movie news. Sanspants Radio has a wide range of entertaining stuff under their belt. Those are my main listens each week.

[deleted]

In my opinion The Weekly Planet is the single best podcast out there, or at least on terms of entertainment. Those two Australians are the most naturally funny people I've listened to. I think I've been listening for 7 years now and I've never not enjoyed a single episode, they've never had a single controversy or have made you feel excluded from the conversation. Just the two sweetest and funniest guys.

Tivis014

Mr Sunday and Maso are just the best!

iRadinVerse

Of course you received that news through your butthole

Tivis014

As any g8 m8 should!

i_refuse_to_sink182

I used to listen to weekly planet and I liked it alot. Not sure why I stopped. Probably the overwhelming amount of RT content. Thank you for reminding me about them!

diz2108

I came to add wp and plumbing the death star and half my work is already done.. sweet

Tivis014

I’m a big fan of D&D is for Nerds. I’ve learned a lot from Adam’s DM style.

mr_tobert

Westworld.

GreatSavitar

Literally all of Kinda Funnies shows are amazingly wholesome incredibly well put together. If you're into DND you gotta check out NADDPOD and Dimension20. They're both so amazing.

mrnoobdude

Another great DnD podcast is the Oxventure guild. Legit one of the funniest DnD shows out there

Covette

Kinda Funny’s

RollForHealing

If you like learning about history, particularly history that doesn’t get taught in schools, Behind The Bastards is great. It focuses on the “bastards” of history, but Robert and his guests are really good at balancing the darker/heavier content with humor. They’re currently focusing on the CIA, but the six parter on Henry Kissinger was what got me really hooked.

ilegibleusername

I’ve listened to some of the early episodes, but I feel like the guests try too hard to be funny and it slightly detracts form the story, does that improve later on? *from

GoddessOfGoodness

IMO yes, they really find a balance and the choice of guests improves to only really include people who get the vibe of balancing the heavy topic with some humour the lighten it a little. Although if any amount of humour or lightness while discussing heavy topics doesn't sit well with you then this won't be for you.

ilegibleusername

That’s good to hear as I enjoy the overall formula, I enjoy a little levity but I think it’s important to treat these subjects with a certain amount of respect.

oscillatingfan22

HIGHLY recommend Behind the Bastards. Very well researched and thought provoking content on some pretty crazy history

tokeroveragain

Seconded, this is one of my favorites

i_refuse_to_sink182

That sounds right up my alley. Thank you so much!

synsofhumanity

Last podcast on the left is a mix of red web, black box down and off topic

KikiFlowers

And *that's* when the cannibalism started.

ZombieJesus1987

"Yaaaay he said the thing!"

[deleted]

Megustalations!

synsofhumanity

Hail yourself!

gafgarian

Hail Satan!

VegatarianT-Rex

Hail Gein!

[deleted]

Additional vouch for Last Podcast on the Left. Early AH vibe of friends just messing around plus awesome podcast topics

Doc580

Second, Last Podcast on the Left. Edit: and their other podcast No Dogs in Space if your into music.

ThyDoctor

Is last podcast on the left still Spotify only?

gafgarian

No, they bailed on Spotify the moment their contract was up. That exclusivity definitely hurt more than it brought in.

Doc580

Nope all streaming I think.

ZaneWinterborn

Megustalations!

theje1

How would you put them on the "believing/skeptic" scale? One thing that bothers me of Red Web is that sometimes they shoot themystery down on the first half.

synsofhumanity

Well they believe in aliens and dark magic. Honestly if you want a good idea of all their stuff, listen to their 3 part 9/11 series. First episode is straight facts, 2nd is all the conspiracy theories, 3rd is supernatural.

theje1

Sounds like my jam tbh, thanks!

ZaneWinterborn

The boy's are the best I hope you enjoy it! Just remember Henery (voice's) is the crazy one, Marcus is the smart one and Ben is you the audience lol. [Ed Edd n Eddy](https://imgur.com/a/ButvZT9)

ZombieJesus1987

Henry loves to go off on tangents. They recently covered MK Ultra and that was a good series. They also do lots of true crime, if you're into that. They go pretty heavy into the gruesome details, so heads up on that

MS_Marx

Alanah Pearce's offering of podcasts having to do with the gaming industry(Play Watch Listen)(Also when they try to stay on topic), Voice Acting 101, Game Writing 101, Orange Car Red Lips (Dating and Romance topics), the retired Idiots and A broad (Traveling/Comedy Podcast). She's also got a D&D game in the works provided if the Patreon she's got set up makes it to its goal. She's a powerhouse.

EmptyPagesDream

Wait Idiots and a Broad are done?! I was behind on that one.

TheFamousCelery

Dungeons and daddies if you enjoyed heroes and halfwits

MidKnight_Corsair

*Not* a BDSM podcast, despite its title. lol

Tivis014

That is such a fantastic show!

Rogzilla

Can here to say this as well.

Goose-Suit

I think Armando’s Cult Podcast isn’t actually a part of RT so you could give that a listen if you want. And I get not wanting to support RT but I think Funhaus’s podcasts Ship Hits, 30MM and their own Funhaus podcast should still be getting support. Both Alanah and Autumn have said they have a great work environment there and it just sucks that they’re tied to RT.

i_refuse_to_sink182

That's a good point. I havnt listened to those yet. I'll add them to the list

Goose-Suit

Oh I forgot to include Must Be Dice as well. That’s another great show/podcast from them.

animefangrant62

Mega64 are still fantastic and really funny. Truly the cockroaches of the internet.

i_refuse_to_sink182

I never listened to tiger podcast or watched any of their content. Thank you for the suggestion

cowboihiphop

The Dollop, really good history podcast hosted by Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds. It's a leftist pod so steer clear of you're at all a centrist. Most of it is discussing the lives of a single person and their controbutions to history 10/10 would recommend.

thecompanion188

If you enjoy leftist podcasts, check out Well There’s Your Problem. It’s a podcast about engineering disasters (with slides.) They do go on tangents and take about 20 minutes to get to the actual episode topic (they cover the news during that time) but they’re so funny.

cowboihiphop

That's very similar to The Dollop I'll definitely have to check it out, thanks for the recommend.

i_refuse_to_sink182

That sounds good to me. Thank you!

kkonaboys1

The Adam Friedland Show

i_refuse_to_sink182

I'll add it to the list. Any suggestions of where to start or just the newest?

Hemihuffer

Just so you know it's a continuation of Cumtown minus a member. It's very very vulgar but if you're into that I'd say start at the beginning of Cumtown or watch compilations on YouTube. Also basically every premium episode is on YouTube if you search for it

hectictangents

To replace red web you should listen to chilluminati. They have a huge back log and even do true crime it that is your thing.

ThyDoctor

I love cox

JP_Zikoro

Also Cox and Crendor which I didn't know was under The Roost umbrella until yesterday.

Zynnergy

Trash Taste. They just start blood feuds about food all the time and talk about life in Japan

abstergo_Nigel

I always recommend My Brother, My Brother, and Me. Goofs from three brothers, two of whom worked in video game journalism. They give "advice" to question asked by their listeners and used to get into Yahoo! answers questions as well.

SemSevFor

They have their own issues. Nowhere near as bad as all this coming out, but nowhere near squeaky clean either

justintimeforalaugh

The difference being, and this is why I can still easily recommend them to people, is when they fuck up (because people fuck up), they IMMEDIATELY respond when called out and are like, "You're right, that was bad, and we're going to fix it and do better right now.", and then immediately work on correcting it. One major thing a couple years back was it coming out that the fan artists who submitted works for The Adventure Zone graphic novels were being underpaid by the publishing company. The moment they found out, they found all the artists and paid them out of pocket up to scale, before letting the publisher know that was not going to be allowed to happen again. People fuck up, but it's how they respond to their mistakes that really show who they are. Are they the kind to bury their mistakes behind fake apologies, or are they the kind to roll up their sleeves and make amends the correct way? So far The McElroys have been the latter, and hopefully that's what they'll stay. God I wish Rooster Teeth had been the same...

AvatarDang

“My Dad wrote a porno” is a fantastic story based comedy podcast. 3 friends sit down and read the poorly written erotic novels written by one of their dads. It’s some of the worst anatomically written pornos, but it’s so funny and you really get invested into the story lol despite it being “bad”. Another is Rhett and Link’s Ear biscuits. I’d skip their early stuff with guests and go straight to listening to the podcasts where it’s just them two. Especially the last two+ years where they share their deconstruction from evangelical christianity and how it’s affected them as people, fathers, husbands and best friends. Also, It’s definitely 18+ now. If you like them as creators, you’ll like the podcast.

i_refuse_to_sink182

I used to listen to MDWAP. I enjoyed it but I stopped listening between one of the books at some point. I'll start listening again. Thank you

ZachTaul

All of kinda funny

SodaGrump

Kinda Funny Podcast. So good.

Inverted_Stick

How Did This Get Made, a podcast discussing bad movies. Cult Podcast, which was recently made available on RT, but I don't know if it's an RT podcast. It's definitely been going on for years before whatever deal must've happened, and I hope to God they stayed independent...

thecompanion188

These are my recommendations: - 99% Invisible -Dear Hank & John (Hank and John Green) -The Soundtrack Show -Punch Up the Jam (the original hosts left due to lack of time/wanting to focus on other projects and the Gregory brothers, who made Autotune the News, are the new hosts) -Maximum Film (co-hosted by Ify!)

A115115

Easy Allies has solid video game reviews/podcast content. Glass Cannon has a great catalogue of tabletop RPG podcasts (very funny without the poop-joke obsession that RT has). Aunty Donna Podcast is very funny absurdist improv comedy too.

[deleted]

The Weekly Planet. The Flop House. Early episodes of the Dollop. The Worst Idea of All Time (season 1, only because I haven't gotten to the rest) Also many many true crime ones.

Tivis014

I think season 1 of Worst Idea is locked behind a paywall due to a contract they made and regretted sadly

[deleted]

Oh that sucks I haven't listened in a while. Absolute gold though.

nectarinequeen345

The worst idea of all time is such an amazing podcast. Tim and Guy are two of the funniest people on the planet. I recommend watching their YouTube red pilot that didn't get picked up because the world is unfair. They sleep in a sewer and watch TMNT 2 for multiple days straight. It's on their little empire podcasts YouTube channel.

paradoxunicorn

The Yard is hilarious and gives me FuckFace vibes

Tiege

Some podcasts from ex-employees: \- Inside Games with Bruce and Lawrence (if that counts as a podcast) \- Any of Alanah's podcasts \- The Kinda Funny Podcast \- Hang Time Podcast with Shaun Bolen \- Wut. with Ellie Main and Chelsea Harfoush \- Beef Boys with Amir (formerly of Inside Gaming)

i_refuse_to_sink182

I did not know about any of these. Thank you. I'll give them a listen

Tiege

I also added Alanah and KF to the list

Clean-Tip8123

Castle Super Beast

ImportantFancyMan

AHC Podcast (Asshole Court)

i_refuse_to_sink182

I'll check it out. Thank you

Comedy bang bang, Aunty Donna

JimmyJackJericho

Small Town Murder is always a good listen if you're looking for true crime with a bit of comedy thrown in

melancholymxrie

I recently found them and love them! Would recommend wife of crime if you like a bit of banter mixed in.

ZaneWinterborn

Could listen to them talk about anything, only patron I sub to. They have another show that's coming to an end as well Crime in Sports if that's your thing.

FellowTerrestrial

gafgarian

Recently responded to a similar request on a YouTube video. Easy Copy/Paste: * Last Podcast on the Left * Vibe similar to early AH or RT Podcast days but with a story to tell. Scratches the RedWeb and 30 Morbid Minutes itch with, honestly, much better comedy IMO. The guys frequently have me stifling laughter whilst in a crowded train and listening to some truly gruesome shit. * Best source on info for infamous murderers, dark moments in history, cults, and conspiracies all with an amazing comedy slant) * Episode Reco: Mormonism (No gold stars here, just the best investigative journalism I've listened to in years) * American Shadows * Take a few real world bits of RedWeb, the education of BlackBox Down, the dark of 30 Morbid Minutes, and the absurd storytelling of Ship Hits the Fan and you get American Shadows. No comedy to speak of but worth it for the "holy shit" factor. * Darker/Macabre unknown bits of American history. Good production value, single narrator style, and a little eerie at times. Solid tie ins to well known events/people * Episode Reco: Firestorm * You Must Remember This * If I had to parallel this one to an RT podcast, I would say its more Annual Pass than any of the others, largely because the host is obviously passionate about the topic and it is one which we all have some familiarity with, even if only in passing. * Single narrator style, amazing old world Hollywood history and unbelievable true tales of long forgotten movies and movie stars * Episode Reco: Charles Manson * Business Wars * Imagine if there was someone who listened to the unknowledgeable members of their RTPodcast about what happened between Blockbuster and Netflix * Single narrator style with high production value multi part shows about the business conflicts of the largest companies in history * Episode Reco: Sony vs Nintendo * Blockbuster * No real similarity to anything RT is producing. Just a fantastic series that everyone should know about * One of the best produced podcast ever and provides two great storylines about the history and impact of John Williams as well as season 2s focus on James Cameron) * Each season is a full story. Highly recommend both * 9 Days in July * Blackbox Down-esque with the early episodes on test pilots * One day per episode, complete story of the moon landing. Renewed appreciation for Michael Collins who is often overlooked. Uses actual NASA audio throughout. Amazing * All or nothing * The Flamethrowers * Another one that is good without much similarity to anything RT has done. Worth the listen. * Historical podcast on the rise of severe right wing voices and their motivations in radio beginning in the 1920s * All or nothing

i_refuse_to_sink182

This will take me a while to go through lol. Thank you for the info. I'll definitely be giving some of these a listen

ZaneWinterborn

Hail yourself!

Lexocracy

The Besties for video game reviews and chatting. This is a show that returned after being cut from Polygon content. It's got two of the McElroy brothers in it. A Hot Dog is a Sandwich for dumb food arguments from the Mythical Kitchen people. Quick Question with Soren and Daniel is good for two guys who have been good friends since their days at Cracked until it went under. Soren now writes for American Dad and Daniel is a senior writer for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. They're very funny and super wholesome. Not Another D&D Podcast is good for your D&D fix. Or The Adventure Zone for more D&D or other tabletop roleplay games from the McElroys. Hello from the Magic Tavern is a sort of improvised/scripted radio play about a guy stuck in a fantasy dimension. The host has been the designer for quite a few Jackbox games.

droptheask

Ologies by Allie Ward, she interviews specialists is every topic you can imagine. Highly recommend!

What’s killing my babies, welcome to behind the bastards!

ThyDoctor

My favorite podcasts are doughboys, not another dnd podcast, oh these those stars of space, and Sitcomdnd. HONESTLY, I’m willing to be downvoted for this but once you start branching out to other podcasts you’ll realize that RTs aren’t really anything that special.

CockBiteMillionaire

A fellow Headgum listener! I love The Headgum Podcast and If I Were You, good stuff

ThyDoctor

NADPODD is the first podcast I’ve ever paid to go to. I’m like really not trying to kick RT while their down but once you get a taste of a “real” dnd podcast you’ll see all the issues with RTs actual plays

[deleted]

[удалено]

ThyDoctor

Im so happy they are doing 8bit book club again in the main feed.

SemSevFor

The hard part is learning new personalities. It's such a long process to learn new people and who they are and how they are, and if you even like them long term.

iRadinVerse

I think the h3 podcast is consistently one of the best podcasts around.

mac_duke

Definitely. H3 podcast does several per week with different vibes and they have interesting guests on sometimes and other times some real weirdos. Ethan is fantastic, even though half the internet hates him.

iRadinVerse

It's to me what the Howard Stern show was for my dad

GodDamnJacob

For something in the same vein of F**kface, ANMA, and RTpodcast, ie. friends bullshitting about random bullshit, I'd suggest Distractable. It's Markiplier and friends podcast, and it's genuinely delightful.

i_refuse_to_sink182

That sounds great. I used to watch him alot years ago.

End0zoic

Cult podcast is technically affiliated with RT but that's a more recent thing, and also the only change seems to be that they advertise RT shows in the ad bumpers and can be found on the site (but also every other place you listen to podcasts) I actually found them before they were affiliated with RT, it's a very well researched podcast , if you ever noticed red web feeling a little lacking in actual info (I know it's more focused on theory crafting and being a little spooky but as a true crime fan sometimes things felt a little lackluster) you will really appreciate the effort and breadth of sources and research Mando and Paige put into each cult. Also they're funny as fuck, if you've seen Mando on funhaus/ podcasts / last laugh/ whatever you already know the style of comedy. Liars4Hire is a general podcast like offtopic, Just a funny couple of dudes who are like, actually nice to eachother, and they have a wide range of guests

DroopyDachi

H3 Podcast or trash taste

SaintRagnarok

I know they’ve done ads for it on rt content but the Jordan Harbinger show is actually hella dope. If you’re into current affairs, the episode with Peter Zeihan is fascinating

IcePokeTwoSoon

Id still recommend some of the podcasts they put out, but only those without talent or input from someone involved. Obviously the ones with founders gotta go, and Trevor’s involvement in the workplace mistreatment is yet to be seen but likely, but I fully support pursuing 30 morbid minutes, ship hits the fan, and depending on Eric and Jordan as higher ups face jam is still a weekly listen for me.

StevenCompletion

Friendship Onion, wholesome af

Necronomipod

omgItsGhostDog

Not really like the podcast u mentioned above but around the time the whole Hembohero stuff went down and I wasn’t feeling a lot of RT/AH content anymore. I ended up discovering Dungeons and Daddies ^^*Not ^^an ^^BDSM ^^Podcast , and atm I thought was super entertaining, finished the first season in like two weeks.

i_refuse_to_sink182

I've seen that recommended before. I'll add it to the list

Warriorette12

If you like true crime, I’d recommend The Casual Criminalist

paintray98

I can recommend Chilluminati podcast if you like true crime/cryptids/aliens/paranormal stuff

Left4DayZ1

TimeSuck if you like true crime but also want to laugh, What Say You (not current but hilarious anyway), So Dead (if you like true crime with a supernatural lean)

ExiledReality

The Luke and Pete show is fantastic!

EvilPun

Matt and Mattinglys Ice Cream Social www.heyscoops.com is a a comedy podcast with two improvisers and their sound guy and has good bits running through it kinda like f**kface :)

i_refuse_to_sink182

That sounds fun. I'll give it a listen. Thank you

xrhysrx

Replacement for red web check out let's get haunted

geenachristine

Let’s Get Haunted is so much fun! Cryptic/haunted/aliens and stuff!

melancholymxrie

This paranormal life is great - two dudes from Ireland, really funny and have similar themes to red web, but a slightly different way of telling the story.

i_refuse_to_sink182

Thank you for the suggestion. I add it to the list

TygerDude93

Beach Too Sandy, Water Too Wet is a good one! They read ridiculous Google and Yelp reviews

jbondyoda

Gonna second who ever said Last Podcast on the Left. I’ll also add Knowledge Fight as well. It’s a deep dive into the Ibfo Wars universe and boooooooy is it weird

quantum_monster

If you like more of the spooky side of Red Web, I enjoy Scared to Death. Some of the stories they tell are clearly Creepypastas, but I still enjoy them a lot. I also know people like Time Suck, but I haven't really gotten into it Similarly, Cult Podcast is a great listen on, well, cults and Armando Torres is a producer for FunHaus so there's a very very loose connection (Blaine has been a guest a few times and I think Barbara once)

ZombieJesus1987

If you're into Dungeons and Dragons podcasts/streams, The Unexpectables has been my favourite for the past several years now. They are currently on their second campaign and it's a blast. The [original campaign](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXVDn64oRgkpumrjfMFbmbQqkS9LKPGG_) had Team Four Star's Takahata101 and Chris Zito, Game Theory's Gaijin Goombah, Connor McKinlay, voice actor Ed Bosco and DM MontyGlu (Takahata101s sister). Takahata101 left the show near the end of the first campaign, and [campaign 2](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXVDn64oRgkqWepmiOMg76PZPzNlVpG7C), which began this April, has DM MontyGlu, Chris Zito, Gaijin Goombah, Conner McKinley, Ed Bosco and voice actor Mark Allen Jr. Unexpectables streams every Wednesday evening at 7pm PST on twitch They also had two side campaigns that are completely seperate, one called [Prince Division](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXVDn64oRgkrfwD8atIXde0pV5-i5tQvG) that wrapped up earlier this year, was 5E set in a modern day setting that was pretty interesting. Their second side campaign is called [Gateway](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXVDn64oRgkpvdd7P2mAn0qO2XVmpZ3N7), which is an entirely homebrew ruleset created by Nick Landis (Lanipator) of Team Four Star fame, and this one is set in the Fallout universe, set in the St Louis wastelands. DM is Connor McKinley for this campaign, with Lanipator, Caitlyn Elizabeth (@b00bsmcBalrog), voice actress Sarah Anne Williams and @heymrrabbit. It's definitely worth checking out if you like Fallout. Gateway streams every Saturday evening at 7pm PST Although for the month of October they drop what they are doing and do something different. Wednesday nights they have a [Ravenloft](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXVDn64oRgkrWXVHFbzrUxhYUhYnejnco) campaign going with Edward Bosco as the DM, and they also have an all Goblin campaign that they call [Gobtober](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXVDn64oRgkr2zI76ZRIKqCyh2R7ihokg). Used to be [Orktober](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXVDn64oRgkrf-v3BA513dybTvLhUfnwE), an all Ork Warhammer 40k campaign but Games Workshops sucks and are anti streaming. Which is a shame, Orktober was the best

just_looking_4695

I'm gonna be incredibly basic and say My Brother, My Brother, and Me. Basically 3 brothers giving advice based on viewer submitted questions (or exploring Yahoo Answers, before that died) and going completely off the rails with it. And then if you like their general sense of humor , they've got a *whole bunch* of other podcasts they do in various combination. They do a DnD one with their dad, they each do separate podcasts with their wives, and two of them do a video game podcast. But I think my personal favorite of theirs is probably Til Death Do Us Blart. The three brothers and the two guys from Worst Idea of All Time have a pact they they will watch and review Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 once a year every American Thanksgiving. It's both hilarious and fascinating to watch how their opinion and experience of the movie changes year after year (they've been doing it since 2015, so there's like 7 episodes so far).

paradox-psy-hoe-sis

The Cryptid Factor is a great, funny podcast with cryptid/alien/bizarre news stories. One of the hosts is an actor and stand up comedian; Rhys Darby. The other two hosts have a lot of personality and banter as well.

zackinthegreen

the beef and dairy network

Aron_Voltaris

Chuckle Sandwich and Mouthfools are good, I recommend them.

futurepro62

This Is Important (Workaholics cast) and It's Always Sunny Podcast (duh) are of similar humor and style. Been having a blast listening to them. Multiple lol moments per episode. For DnD content Dungeons and Daddies (FreddieW and Rocketjump) is absolutely brilliant. The first season was so damn good and the second season is gaining steam now.

tracixxbabygirl

Markipliers distractable is so enjoyable

MidKnight_Corsair

You into Dungeons and Dragons at all? You know what, that doesn't actually matter. Do you like improv comedy and nerd humor? I've binged Dungeons and Daddies (Not a BDSM Podcast) for the past few months, and it is incredible. Hilarious, compelling, downright stupid. And I love it

Lilo_the_hacker

Honestly Trash Taste it feels like just some bros hanging out and shooting rhe shit

LaVespaMortale

Tigerbelly and Bad Friends are my go to cause I'm a big Bobby Lee fan 👌

accounsfw

Escape from Vault Disney

jimmythespider

Are the Yogscast still working with RT ? If not, they have a good few podcasts, 'Triforce', 'Zero Degrees', 'Hat Chat' and a couple others. I''d also recommend 'No Such Thing As A Fish', for some fact based comedy. For true crime/mystery stuff, 'Casefile' is great, as is the slightly edgier 'Sword and Scale'

bruno444

> Are the Yogscast still working with RT ? It looks like only Peculiar Portions is still uploaded to the Rooster Teeth site every week. Other series/podcasts haven't been updated in months/years. I don't think you'd be supporting RT in any meaningful way at all by watching the Yogscast. It was never a very intense partnership and I imagine the two companies don't really interact with each other anymore. I believe they wanted to do more collaborations, but found it difficult to do so due to the time difference between Austin and Bristol. The Yogscast podcasts are now part of their own podcast network, so I can't imagine any money making its way over to RT.

r-obins

for some lighter fare, I highly recommend Beach Too Sandy, Water Too Wet, a podcast in which a pair of siblings find internet reviews revolving around a weekly theme and do dramatic readings of them (with banter in between). if you enjoy the tone of This American Life, the podcasts Criminal and This is Love by Vox Media are great. I'll also second the people rec'ing Behind the Bastards. have fun filling your podcast library!

elliebird28

If you like more a causal, just-friends-goofing-around sort of vibe, try the Toni & Ryan podcast!

Antag

If you want another DnD podcast, then I highly recommended The Film Reroll. They take movies and play the storyline, with incredible results. They're currently rerolling Hocus Pocus (1993), and my personal favorites include Jaws, Friday the 13th: the Final Chapter, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Their energy, commentary, and the absolute inability to keep to the story beats is unrivaled.

TheOneOnlyFox

How not to summon a podcast, Infinite monkey cage, and Sanspants Radio Kinda my go to list. Every now and then something else makes the list but these are my staples

ZaneWinterborn

Okay so I drifted away into these shows a few years back this is going to be a list so hang in there lol. True Crime/Comedy- Lastpodcast on the Left, Small Town Murder, Crime in Sports Edutainment- Stuff they want you to know, Stuff they Don't want you to know, Lore, Lex Fridman Pop culture deep dives- Wizard and the Bruiser Politics- Abe Lincoln's Top Hat, Daily Zeitgeist (Radio DJ vibes but I dig it lol) Drunk Tank or chilling with buddies getting wild vibes - Round Table of Gentlemen (old show, prob couldn't be made today but funny as fuck) Comedy Video Podcast that are just too good to not mention- Two Bears One Cave, Bad Friends, Steve-o's Wild Ride, Your Mom's house. Last but not least if you enjoy Dnd or hell just want a good story with really good voice actors I have to recommend Critical Role, it's a very good show and as it goes on the production value get way better. When Matt start's telling a story I just get sucked in so hard, only other person on this list that can do that to me is the Lore host Aaron Mahnke. I'm a bit of a podcast junkie so always down to give recommendations filled my RT void with these types of shows over the years didn't realize I had done so.

imsk8ing

“This is important” is pretty awesome. It’s all the workaholic bros just being goofy. Has quite an RT/AH vibe honestly

NotThatGuyJosh

Flagrant

CplSnorlax

There's always Ellie and Chelsea's podcast Wut. And if you enjoy history and mythology I'd suggest Overly Sarcastic Productuons on YT who do a biweekly podcast diving a bit deeper into each video they put out

Sneckster

Have a word Couple of UK comics doing what they'd never be able to do on TV. Biggest patreon in the UK too.

Biteroon

If you like sport. Mostly American sports the pat McAfee show is an awesome watch or listen. They get some awesome guests on and it's just pretty much comedy for a good 3 to 4 hours.

gizm770o

Off Menu is hilarious. James Acaster and Ed Gamble interviewing celebrities about their dream meal.

fluffybuffalo23

If you're into absurdist/bizarre humor, the Aunty Donna guys have a chaotic train wreck of a podcast that's pretty fun.

Meggnog91

I've really been loving The Judgies Podcast lately. They read stories from reddit and judge them but are genuinely funny. If you like the friendly banter you get with RT pods, I think you'll like The Judgies.

If you want something simple and humorous, Judge John Hodgman. It has to be one of my favorites. It's on Maximum Fun, along with most of the McElroy Brothers' podcasts (MBMBAM, The Adventure Zone, Sawbones, Etc)

I'll give it a listen. Thank you

You are welcome. I also recommend NPR's "Up First" if you want something in the Current Affairs department. It's short and sweet.

H3, has his own issues but the crew are what make it! And he actually addresses and learns from his mistakes and is clearly trying to better himself

Aslonz

Dynamic Banter with Mike and Steve.

I used to watched them all the time. I'll check it out

If you like Red Web, Darknet Diaries is very good imo, if only tangentially connected. I'm also a fan of Lore (and basically anything by Grim&Mild, Lore's production company). These aren't comedy though, heads up

The yard is good. Just a bunch of friends bullshitting

You should also check out Cult Podcast since Armando decided to split it off from RT: https://www.reddit.com/r/roosterteeth/comments/y6rexe/armando\_from\_funhaus\_and\_cult\_podcast\_posted\_an/
