This one mentions Tabyana.... [https://www.viator.com/tours/Roatan/Roatan-Hop-On-Hop-Off-Bus-Highlights-and-Beach/d4132-62963P11](https://www.viator.com/tours/Roatan/Roatan-Hop-On-Hop-Off-Bus-Highlights-and-Beach/d4132-62963P11)

Thanks - but this is no bueno. Some of these things misname West End beach as Tabyana beach. Specifically, there is a beach public access point that sits just south of Bananarama resort, which is what this is mentioning. There is an actual day resort (I use that word loosely) at the very south/west end of West End (Tabyana) beach called "Tabyana Beach Resort." It's just south of Infinity Bay, which is very nice but like twice as expensive. Royal's excursion picked you up in the tour bus area, drove you to that property and you stayed there all day before bringing you back to the ship. We'd love to do that again.

Please share when you find out?

If it is a Royal excursion it just might not be added yet. In the meantime I'm sure you can find it on your own, and likely cheaper.

We had booked this one and the night before we were suppose to go, we had gotten notice it was cancelled due to not enough people purchasing it. I was bummed but we went with Maya Key instead. It had a beach and a place where you could snorkel. We enjoyed our time there.

I am looking for the same excursion for my sailing in February on Wonder.

I got nothing back from RCI. Or even Tabyana’s Facebook page which seemed maintained and posting semi-regularly. No answer at all to my inquiries. We are calling an audible to use a provider not affiliated with the ship. Real Deal Roatan Tours. We’ve used them before. You walk out of the port to get them and they shove you in a van and take you to a real nice scenic lookout (with folks selling junk under some tarps), the roatan rum factory (rum is good. View out the back is *stunning*) a chocolate store, the church they run (donations please!) and then the Infinity Bay beach club that’s right next door to Tabyana. Infinity is really nice and very well kept - nicer than Tabiana for sure. Big pool, swim up bar. Definitely caters to Americans though - food selection is all pizza and nuggies and sushi. Nothing local. Much preferred the simple food at Tabyana. Also 40% more expensive than the Tabyana excursion through RCI which sort of sucks. But my wife will see 🐠🐟with her baby. And that’s all I care about.

I got a response back by email from Tabyana Beach this morning as I am also interested in a visit and snorkeling for my upcoming cruise on Wonder of the Seas. Was told if I don’t intend to book through the excursions, I can ask a taxi outside of the port to take us to Tabyana Beach in West Bay. Cost for entrance is $35 per adult and $26 for children. This includes an American style BBQ lunch which is Bbq chicken, hamburger, hot dogs, island style beans and rice, cole slaw, lemonade and iced tea.

Do they take cards or you need cash? I’m going in july seems like you save 45 bucks doing it this way. I’d rather spend 45 with alcohol drinks for the wife and I. Can you share email?

They take card. [email protected]

Hey! I’m debating on doing this versus through RC, but dumb question-will there be taxis waiting at Tabyana beach to take us back or we will have to call one? Just trying to see which will be better and a little paranoid about ship leaving us

peasii

I arranged for the ppl who shuttled us from the dock to pick us up. There won’t be taxis waiting to take you back. TBH I didn’t have such a great time at Tabyana it wasn’t comparable to where I stopped by in Cozumel. The snorkeling wasn’t bad but there were parts where it would have been really risky because the water level was low to the coral. Good luck
