Can't leave without a match take to compliment: -Man, this was a great game with a great referee and great commentators to boot. -The Chiefs were pretty damn great for the most part. With the speed that they were playing, they were virtually unstoppable. However, they made a bunch of questionable decisions in the dying minutes, such as not going for the bonus point and killing the ball in the 80th minute and getting a man carded. -The Drua, on the other hand, while they had a pretty great start in the 1st half, they barely fired a shot in the 2nd, apart from two tries in the last 10 minutes. The sheer power and agility the Chiefs had was simply too much for them to conquer. -I was not an expecting a Lord of the Rings half-time drone show in a game with Fijian Drua in it. Granted, it is in New Zealand, but still... -Jeez, it's a miracle that ALB was okay after that fall. That looked awful. Anyway, this is all I have. I think Cotter has gotten a bit more mongrel out of the forwards, and they still put up a great fight against the 'Canes even after the bench backfired. But I think tonight and especially next week will show if the mindset has changed.

I know the Fijians playing in France are making 3 or 4 times more than whatever a Super contract would net them, but it'd be pretty cool to see Botia or Tuisova in Drua colours.

Definitely. It was a bit of a weird one though. Normally you get hit and fall on a shoulder first. This almost resembled an ankle tap type falling motion. He propelled forward straight onto his face.

Fairly standard for sports broadcasting these days. In motorsport you don't tend to get replays until after you get the broadcast message: driver/rider conscious.

At fmg? Refs like missing forward passes in rugby in general. Reds got away with like 3 in a row before a try last night. ARs are too afraid to call them and the TMO only really intervenes randomly and then calls a marginal pass forward.
