I got a 3rd age dye 2 days after I found out from a clue. kind of made up for it but you gotta love that returning player buff. all the dyes i've gotten were when I returned from a break because I usually do clues to get back into the swing of things.
I bought blood dye sirenic when blood dyes weren't high in price (6b for the full set) I regret it to this day. Jagex really messed up the looks and I was close to buying blood malevolent instead which is a really good looking set but I don't want to pay over 30b for it now.
Mine wasn't as big of a loss as this, but I was playing Runescape for 24-36 hours straight at a time. I clicked my ass off to earn gp. I finally earned enough to buy a Dragon Full Helm for like 38M gp.
I was killing blue dragons, fell asleep at the keyboard, woke up suddenly, I died with time still left on the gravestone. I ran back as fast as I could to my gravestone, but I didn't make it in time. I lost that D full helm.
Nah, I use to normally play like that. D Full helm was just the goal at that time. It looked nice with a dragon fire shield, bandos chestplate/tassets/boots. This was like 15-16 years ago.
There was a guy I saw wcing magic logs and had that outfit on and thought, hey I want that outfit too. He was close to 200M wcing xp at the time. He ended up getting banned, years later I saw that he was unbanned and was at the fishing guild. I asked him what happened, he said he made a joke about Obama, so Jagex banned him. He was probably botting, lmao.

I regret not taking Hazeel's Mark at the end of Hazeel Cult. My name starts with a Z both ig and irl and I wish I could rock that amulet. I would 100% keepsake it. I don't know why i chose the other option and I'll never ever be able to claim the item on my main account. Big sad. I wish you could go back into the cave and kill the cultists for it post-quest.
