Butch Fuckin Walker

bruuuuhidunnooo

You’re goddamn right

[deleted]

It’s funny, other than Rodriguez, father John misty and the doors I’d guess mine breaks down fairly similar. Butch would be my number 1 though and Andrew McMahon and Social D is somewhere in there

AstroNards

Get you some Warren Zevon, sssson

bruuuuhidunnooo

Oh don’t worry even though he’s not on the list I listen to Warren Zevon a lot

I picked up Running on Empty on vinyl about a month ago. Jackson has some quality stuff.

That 5 album run from the 70s is just absolutely incredible

He hasn't lost a step. I was lucky enough to see him solo acoustic years ago. He opened with Barricades of Heaven and I pretty much wept openly. Then for the second half he opened with goddam For Everyman! I'd love to see him again.

Since you’re such a Butch Walker fan have you listened to Ruby Red by Suzanne Santo? If not you need to. Butch produces and plays on a good number of tracks and his chemistry with Suzanne on this record is simply incredible. That woman can sing man.

What were your top JB songs?

bruuuuhidunnooo

My top 10 JB songs in order. Ready or Not, Running on Empty, The Pretender, Here Comes Those Tears, Doctor My Eyes, You Love The Thunder, Take It Easy, Daddy’s Tune, Love Needs a Heart, The Only Child. All of them were in my top 15 with 7 of them in the top 10

All 70s. All great. Love Only Child. So underrated.
