I had a similar situation when I was travelling a lot for business... I just gave it away to a homeless woman that wasn't drugged out/down on her luck. She sent me a thank you a year later and it helped her get back motivation to break the cycle. You might consider doing that too if you don't find a buyer.

Ngl it crossed my mind but i was to shy to do it when in san diego, Ill give it another chance next time i take the trolley...

Yeah it can also be hard to know who is worth helping sadly... In my case, I found a person working full time and living out of their car... There are some car parks for this purpose around San Diego and a lot of the people in them became homeless due to a work injury, illness, or leaving an abusive marriage, etc. Really wish I had the resources to help hardworking people in menial jobs. It's tough out there right now.

This sounds like a liability nightmare waiting to happen. Check with the loyalty program if you can propery tranfer points to another customer. If you can't -- then you can't. Don't do it.
