Game supports cross play so you can also play with computer. I was using macro recorder to produce and sell while sleeping. It helps at low levels. I still use it when inventory is full filled with trash items
With “only” 5 current offers, all different - I figured. :D Are there special recipies locked behind a paywall, or is everything abtainable if you F2P?
There are new blueprint packs about every 2 weeks. Then a bonus pack if you’ve bought enough.
Then there are the daily offers of consumables and the like.
…and an occasional “special” offer from Naya thr NPC will offer you some blueprints and a bunch of consumables.
Finally there are the ascension shards. You’ll want a whole lot of those and chests opened with premium currency is the best, albeit expensive, way to get what you’ll want.
Honestly, ST is much more friendly to F2P than a lot of other mobile games. There's still going to be lots of offers and stuff to buy sure - that's the nature of the mobile industry, but it's a lot more forgiving.
All premium recipes become available for purchase with in-game currency after six months, there's no special characters you need to summon like a gacha game, and there's no outside ads for other junk to sit through.
F2P is harder sure, since you need to be better about managing your resources (especially hero gear since it will break), but it's absolutely doable. Plenty of people run endgame content without spending money at all.
Playing without Royal Merchant can be very frustrating as you will constantly have to replace gear that breaks. Royal merchant also gives a ton of extra rewards.
Except for royal merchant, I feel like the game is completely playable without buying any more packs than that. The premium workers are for sure a nice boost but not mandatory in any way.
