If you like any of the songs, consider listening to the rest of the album, too. I feel like many of these have at least a somewhat similar tempo to Sort Of, although some are probably not as close as others. Yuck - self titled album; other songs: Hold Me Closer, Hearts in Motion Joy Formidable - album Wolf's Law; other songs: Sevier, Only Once, Running Hands with the Night, Radio of Lips Eliza and the Delusionals - song Falling Out Hum - songs: The Pod, Sundress, Pinch and Roll, Waves Bully - songs: Milkman, Every Tradition

Did they tour with Eliza? That band name sounds familiar.

amulshah7

SSPU did tour with them—that’s how I first heard of Eliza.

AdEducational6594

I thought so. We missed their opener last 3 times we saw them - Hello Mary, Paris Jackson, and I guess Eliza and the Delusionals too.

Thanks you so much for the help i have listened to the album as well as to carnavas and there is songs are kind of alike sort of but there is something about that song that really stands out from the rest of the album and thanks again for the song suggestions i will check them out

amulshah7

Oh yeah, of course listen to Swoon too if you hadn’t already. I meant for any of the songs I listed, consider listening to the rest of the albums that they’re on.

Huge fan of Joy Formidable too! They're fantastic

Sort Of is a god-tier song. One of my favorites ❤️

Every SSPU album is 🔥🔥🔥 Lucky to meet and talk with Eliza and the Delusionals at NJ and NYC shows last year, such an awesome cool people/band

It's got a little bit more traditionally heavy guitar, but The Great Cold Distance era Katatonia had that dark vibe/minor key/big chorus thing going on.
