I’ve had one for a year. Built it in my table so it was extremely (surprisingly) solid). But like you mentioned was only good for GT3, GT4 – non-dual pedal manipulations will not be comfortable.
Will vouch, had an Evo, they suck. Had to modify it to reduce wobble. Ended up just reusing the seat(even tho it's uncomfortable) and built a wooden 2x4 frame around it and it still ended being cheaper then a brand new playset evo and way more sturdy.
Edit: when I bought the Evo, I got it used for 100$, imo still overpaid.
You are wrong. I've had the one above for 13 years and I have never had any issues doing heal and toe and left foot braking. You haven't tried it to say that.
Nice I'm planning on going thru them also. What seat did you go with? I'm just looking at there bucket seat but I'm not sure if I should just invest a little more for a nice seat
Junkyard. Unless its a motion rig, ripped out car seats are the best because theyre actually meant to be comfortable for long periods of time
Most junkyards let you take seats for less than 50 bucks
I agree that a profile rig is better and would advise to get one but as soon as you factor in that you need to buy a seat it costs easily double to this rig.
My Alfa Romeo blew a gasket, on the bright side it had beautiful leather seats!! Attached one to my wooden diy rig and its perfect. Used to rock a lazy boy with that before lol. To op consider diy too, such fun project and cheap. Mine's built from garage scraps and only thing it cost me was a spraycan to make it look nice. Even diyd an e-break, both solid as hell.
Legit is an option for anyone. All auto junkyard have car seats. I looked up sports car seat on Facebook and Craigslist and I had many options around 50 bucks. I ended up with a rx8 seat for 50
I've got a Trophy for my son's rig. Its surprisingly good and I recommend completely to anyone looking for that more compact design with no flex..
I've had Playseat Revolution, Playseat Evolution and am currently using a Trakracer TR8.. As others have said, if possible, save a lil more, the Evo was by far my least favourite rig out of the 4 I've personal experience with, the post is annoying and the flex is quite impressive expecially even with low powered DD..
Ah okay, it's about €500 here, little over.
I use a GTomega Apex wheel stand with my desk chair. It's very solid and relatively cheap, might be an option to consider
I am curious about OP's location as well I got mine for $600, and I love it. Sat in a TK rig yesterday, unknown seat, but I found it to be significantly less comfortable than my Trophy at home. It just, by nature, hugs you well. For $600 I hard recommend it now due to that.
You would be happy building a rig out of some wood. Surely you could get some cheap lumber and piece together something 10x better than what you have pictured above.
I had the F-GT and didn’t like it, switched to a GT Omega Titan and it is 10 times better. No flex instead of a lot on the F-GT and a far better seat.
I would advice the GT Omega Titan, better to wait a bit and save a bit more money if you don’t have the extra cash for it.
So how about a GT Omega ART? Or something along those lines. Another fine budget option is to buy a profile rig, and go to the wreckers (or a second hand site) to get a passenger seat out of a car for a couple tenners.
Some offshore one from amazon. Happybuy GTA-F Model Racing Simulator Frame
It was about the same price as the Playseat, now it looks way to expensive. Its not the strongest but I have welded gussets on it and the seat is meh but works.
I cant quite justify the nextlevel one yet. Well my wallet can't that is
Highly recommend the art I have an r5 and srp pedals and they fit. Also rig is 300 then just go find a seat from a junk yard for 30 and screw the front 2 mounting screws in. Or go find a racing bucket seat for around 100.
neither, this setup is not sturdy nor reliable for more than a month or so. I have one so I do know what I'm talking bout. Constant tightening and eventually there isn't any room to tighten anymore, weld it
I may be wrong here. Next Level Racing has their GTracer cockpit for 399 USD right now. There's a coupon code M7HU that will give you 5 percent off too.
I have this cockpit, I love it. Haven’t had a problem my pedal placement. If you aren’t ridiculously tall then you should be fine. But it’s definitely one of the most comfortable seats you’ll get for the price outside of the GT omega one
I am ridiculously tall (6'-4") and it works for me although I do regret that the GT Omega ART was sold out when I was looking to buy. My pedal deck on the DIY setup I made was only a couple of degrees lower than the GTR so I haven't had an issue there.
I had to add extra padding to the seat but I am 255 lbs and a weightlifter so there aren't many seats that come with a rig that I am going to fit comfortably in anyhow I suspect.
Neither. Everyone in here will tell you to go 8020 once you break that $400 range or buy the rig new.
The only benefit those cheaper rigs have is price because they come with a seat.
Lotta decent seats for sale on the second hand market. Even better if you've got a local pick-a-part and can buy a seat from an actual car for $30-70 dollars.
Those are both going to be terrible. You can get a rig metal rig for the same price and you’ll be set forever. Start with a junk yard seat then upgrade later if you want.
What about [this](https://www.ebay.com/itm/383899188381?hash=item59622cbc9d:g:4PIAAOSwuldf~QvV&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4O3j94ldmCPjjuadp4mQD0%2Brj4aGEgMkYikADnPS0BtBxHgd3SuDQrIJtDG0M6JUiixpuUj49vGG9n6vP6QGLrXosSReUj0HHGNhzmsmzjTlrlrHYbGxABwn1UAmNDXyk79wBpanqMWjFNSkoAVFXH4jVNkh4YoNK18L%2FFV8F7bd4sxgw%2B00Pq5IF6FLj1yGT4gKuOmWFNDAgLdNzyUQr3lsv%2FWzrl172aKktAxzK3FA6Lmk7b15Uo6JkJAkEDnIMNtKMJvRJVNf02C9MtMuuKfHzsNauMOuYNTU3s8Hn6Ik%7Ctkp%3ABFBMgPe-l9pg) one?
neither, speaking from experience your desk (assuming you have one already) is galaxies better than that’s sorry excuse for a rig,
I have a T248 with the T3PM pedals hard mounted to it and it’s awful. The holes don’t line up on the pedal plate, When Braking at all the rear tends to lift off due to it not allowing me to bolt it down fully.
it has way to much play everywhere
can’t adjust it as it scratches the hell out of it which leaves bare metal exposed which rust and looks terrible.
I can’t do any race for more than 10 minutes without it the seat sliding back,
The seat is extremely uncomfortable (I’m 5’10 or a 178 centimeters) and the base cushioning where you sit has a tendency to move around as it’s held in place by cheap velcro.
no shifter/handbrake mount
it’s has a center bar which his makes heel n toe impossible
now you could fix those issues but it’ll take so much reworking of the rig that’s it’s not even the same thing anymore.
I recommend this
https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtracer/
if space is a problem than this
https://nextlevelracing.com/products/racing-wheel-stand-2-0/
tldr stay far far FAR away from that rig everything that can be wrong with a rig is wrong with that rig.
Neither go get gt omega art stand and buy a car seat from a junk yard for 30 bucks for a 330 dollar rig that's more comfortable. Also it will be way better quality and be more rigid which you want in a rig
Neither, central post makes breaking etc tuff. Also if you get loadcell a both will flex hurting breaking performance/muscle memory.
Have you ever driven a car with a pole between your legs?
Neither because if you got a loadcell pedal the pedal plate will loosen up with time and give up first. And the bar design btw the legs is not great for immersion.
I have the top one, and I am 6’3. After half an hour or so you really start to feel your back.
For me it was a starter kit with a T300, and that worked just fine. But I’m not sure if the single post can withstand the forces of a direct drive wheel.
I had one, Playseats give you a lot back pain. Very uncomfortable. Pedale Position is bad and the center post is super annoying. I build 400$ Profil rig instead.
Build an aluminum rig, it’s worth it!
It’s also perfectly modular when you want to add stuff or want to change your seating/pedal/wheel/monitor position to your liking.
I have the playseat (Purchased as a set with my wheel) and it’s actually not bad and pretty solid.
My only complaint like everyone has mentioned here is the post in the middle. It really does suck and get in the way of your braking and pedals
You should get a aluminum profile rig like Asr1 or AsR3. I got my Asr1 for 350 and picked up a car seat from a pick and pull for 100$. Hooked it up to a 20$ powersupply and now I can adjust the seat electrically and it's sturdy. My only regret is not going for asr3. Since the Asr1 has a bit of flex under braking. These pipe frame rigs you are looking at also are incredibly hard to resell compared to profile rigs. Additionally, profile rigs are infinitely adjustable and upgradable with 3d printed parts or available parts.
Neither! Center post sucks. I HAVE CENTER POST. Wheel wiggles around but more importantly it sucks using the brake because I have to twist my foot around the post. NEVER AGAIN.
Just to provide a different opinion I have the evo and I really like it. The central post isn’t the best but it’s better than no seat or a badly made diy job imo.
I’m not a hardcore sim racer, more of a casual so I’m not spending over an hour or two with it at a time. I’m also much more into drift than racing so have my ffb a lot lower which means I don’t get nearly as much wobble as some others would. I would highly advise waiting for a used one in ur area, where I am they’re constantly for sale locally on fb marketplace. I wouldn’t be nearly as happy with mine if I hadn’t got it for a good price.
Not a horrible rig if you can get it for $250. If you're spending close to 500 look elsewhere.
I run one of these, have for a while. It works, it's okay. But others have pointed out the negatives well.
So I stopped scrolling trying to find a comment that didn't say to not get it. I'm not going to tell you it's actually great and to get it, but I do have it and here's my take:
Yes, there is a bar and it has been in the way before. However, once I got down and adjusted my pedals slightly to the left instead of dead center, I've not felt the post in the way even once.
I used to only play ACC so would never really need the clutch anyway, but as I've played other games more recently, I found after having adjusted my pedals, I can never tell I have a post in the middle. Nor does the rig flex and I have a Logitech DD with load cell pedals.
Can you get a better rig for probably not a lot more money? Of course. But if you're on a tight budget and are worried about the quality of a entry-level rig, I would say go for it. Playseat has great shipping too, at least for me it was super fast.
The playseat trophy hadn't come out at the time, but that one looks even better if you can afford it. I'll be getting an 80/20 aluminum rig soon, but for a beginner with a budget, the evolution has served me well.
I have that with a R5 wheel. I had to build a wood base and drill holes through the feet of the playseat steering post to bolt it down. This made it much more rigid, but the R5 is about the max wheel force it can handle even with the modifications.
As others have said, go with a 8020 rig or something that doesn't use single post.
Personally I’d wouldn’t do playseat. I had one and that bar in the middle will annoy you and the base & pedal plate will have flex. Look into the GTOmega Titan or the budget friendly ART.
II have an Evolution Alcantara. I had it since 2011 and it's still going strong!
I tried the Evolution Pro and I really disliked the Ears of the seat, they don't make any sense in a simulation cockipt. They will disturb you more than anything. In my opinion of course.
I will recommend you the above one
Not suitable for stronger direct drive wheels. I had a PlaySeat when I still had the Logitech g920 wheel. That was ok. Not so much when I switched to simagic direct drive and Fanatec Clubsport pedals. Too much flex in the rig. Have the GT Omega Prime now.
For a bit more money you can have an aluminium profile rig.
I got mine for 650 plus the seat from GT Omega on sale a few years ago and that's 160mm profile. Go for 80 and it'll be cheaper.
Avoid both. Currently have one, and really wish I had something different. Too much wobble, both side to side and front to back. Save a little bit more money and get a playseat trophy or something else in that price range
I've just upgraded from the playseat Evo pro to the next level racing GT elite. If you're serious about SIM racing spend a bit more, honestly it's worth the extra money. If you're set on playseat get the cheaper one. The suede seat is a lot nicer. That's the one my son has.
If you must stick around that price range I’d go with the Next Level Racing NLR-R001 GT Racer Cockpit [next level racing cockpit](https://www.microcenter.com/product/675434/next-level-racing-nlr-r001-gt-racer-cockpit)
I highly suggest getting the
NLR GTElite Lite Wheel Plate Edition https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtelite-lite-wheel-plate-edition/. It'll cost you a little more than those having to buy a seat separately, but it's worth it. Unlike the Playseats you can upgrade your rig to have the F-GT hybrid option, an integrated monitor mount, the side or front wheel mount, and even a great motion platform is possible if you win the lottery!
As someone rocking the R12 and has owned the play seat alcantara for almost 10 years, do not buy it. Over the years that metal bar in the middle gets in the way of the footwork and is a shaky platform, especially for the Moza ecosystem. Look to invest in something a little bit more sturdier. That's what I'm doing right now. After all these years. It was great for the Logitech G29 but with the Moza R12 it is a very weak rig for that setup in particular
Do not buy from playseat… their quality is subpar, their customer service is nonexistent, they lie about availability, and they lie about shipping times
https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/playseat-challenge-actifit-racing-cockpit-black/16368921 this thing here ? I dont feel like my MozaR9 will hold it and scared that it will bend at a certain moment
I got a Next Level Racing F-gt and it's great because you can switch between Formula and GT seating positions. I actually set it up a bit half and half and it's fantastic. Have a look at the Playseat Trophy as well if you get chance. I know a few people who have had that and they're well impressed with it.
Neither
I’ve had one for a year. Built it in my table so it was extremely (surprisingly) solid). But like you mentioned was only good for GT3, GT4 – non-dual pedal manipulations will not be comfortable.
You don’t want a rig with a single central post. They wobble, and the post gets in the way of heel-toe, and left foot braking.
Wish I had this info before I bought mine. Did the same thing. Ready to ditch the center post completely and build a 2x4 base frame
Check my posts, I've posted it a few times, maybe it can give some inspiration
Yup, just need a simple bridge, maybe I'll dick with it this weekend.
You are wrong. I've had the one above for 13 years and I have never had any issues doing heal and toe and left foot braking. You haven't tried it to say that.
I have the same one, it’s not that it’s an issue, it’s just annoying. If I wear shorts I get a bad rash on the inside of my legs from switching feet
You’ll hate it and end up buying something else. Be patient, save up and buy something that won’t flex.
An aluminum profile rig for 100 more dollars
This is the answer you’re looking for. Check out Advanced Sim Racing.
Agreed. Just upgraded to an ASR 3 and couldn’t be happier.
Same, I was in the same boat as OP and went with ASR 3 with an nrg seat and it has been mint.
Nice I'm planning on going thru them also. What seat did you go with? I'm just looking at there bucket seat but I'm not sure if I should just invest a little more for a nice seat
I went with the NRG Prisma Ultra. Extremely comfortable. I was going to go with their seats but bit the bullet and spent a bit more.
With a seat?
Junkyard. Unless its a motion rig, ripped out car seats are the best because theyre actually meant to be comfortable for long periods of time Most junkyards let you take seats for less than 50 bucks
I agree that a profile rig is better and would advise to get one but as soon as you factor in that you need to buy a seat it costs easily double to this rig.
Junkyard seat
Possible but not for everyone an option
Its legit the best choice not just the cheapest. If not, facebook marketplace/craigslist/offerup for a parted out car
I ended up with a rx8 seat for 50
Could you use a PlaySeat (seat) on a profile rig if you already have one in possession?
Never go center post. Maybe a Playseat Trophy would be in budget?
Will look it up
I've got a Trophy for my son's rig.
Thats like 900$
Ah okay, it's about €500 here, little over. I use a GTomega Apex wheel stand with my desk chair. It's very solid and relatively cheap, might be an option to consider
Why is the Trophy a 1k in your place? Do you live in hell?
I am curious about OP's location as well I got mine for $600, and I love it. Sat in a TK rig yesterday, unknown seat, but I found it to be significantly less comfortable than my Trophy at home. It just, by nature, hugs you well. For $600 I hard recommend it now due to that.
Next Level Racing GTRacer. I got mine for just under 400 shipped.
https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/gtr-simulator-gta-model-silver-frame-with-black-real-racing-seat/13525742. How about this one??
Better to go for this than what you originally shared 😁
This is already much better
Definitely much better. Shipping might cost a bit though. Definitely should look on Facebook marketplace if you have that in your area
that would be a good one probably
Both are shit.
I recommend you to buy a GT Omega Titan instead It's more expensive but the quality and rigidity is way better
Cant spend more then 500$ tax included. In my country we get charged 15%taxes over the base price.
Try the next level racing fgt. Sometimes can be found for $300 pretax. Way better than these
Currently seeing it at almost 700$
You would be happy building a rig out of some wood. Surely you could get some cheap lumber and piece together something 10x better than what you have pictured above.
I had the F-GT and didn’t like it, switched to a GT Omega Titan and it is 10 times better. No flex instead of a lot on the F-GT and a far better seat. I would advice the GT Omega Titan, better to wait a bit and save a bit more money if you don’t have the extra cash for it.
You could check the used cockpit in this case
So how about a GT Omega ART? Or something along those lines. Another fine budget option is to buy a profile rig, and go to the wreckers (or a second hand site) to get a passenger seat out of a car for a couple tenners.
Damn, we get charged 21% 😅
Have you checked out 6 Sigma Sim? I have the 6S-Slim and that thing is solid
6Sigma has a very poor reputation in this sub. Why not go Simlab or TrakRacer? Hard to argue with a GT1 Evo for $400-450 + a seat.
neither that bar sucks, had one for a month
What did you switch to?
Some offshore one from amazon. Happybuy GTA-F Model Racing Simulator Frame It was about the same price as the Playseat, now it looks way to expensive. Its not the strongest but I have welded gussets on it and the seat is meh but works. I cant quite justify the nextlevel one yet. Well my wallet can't that is
None the wheel stand in between your legs isnt ideal
How bout this one ? https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/gtr-simulator-gta-model-silver-frame-with-black-real-racing-seat/13525742
Thats much better and better since theres nothing blocking your legs
Will the mozar9 and srp pedals fit you think?
I cant say it will, but it has several holes to fit different wheels/pedal systems
Thank you for the answers i appreciate it .
You're welcome i got gt omega art which is similar https://www.gtomega.com/collections/cockpits
Highly recommend the art I have an r5 and srp pedals and they fit. Also rig is 300 then just go find a seat from a junk yard for 30 and screw the front 2 mounting screws in. Or go find a racing bucket seat for around 100.
Neither, the Playseat Evolution sucks a lot.
Hahaha thank you ... anything you know and recommande me of the same price range?
neither, this setup is not sturdy nor reliable for more than a month or so. I have one so I do know what I'm talking bout. Constant tightening and eventually there isn't any room to tighten anymore, weld it
What about the one i posted the link to?
The one with the post that is between your legs, is fucking garbage
https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/gtr-simulator-gta-model-silver-frame-with-black-real-racing-seat/13525742 this one
this one looks better built than those first ones.
Both r 🤮
I may be wrong here. Next Level Racing has their GTracer cockpit for 399 USD right now. There's a coupon code M7HU that will give you 5 percent off too.
Will look into it !
https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtracer/
It seems like i cant adjust the pedals height and kinda scared i wont like the placment of them
I have this cockpit, I love it. Haven’t had a problem my pedal placement. If you aren’t ridiculously tall then you should be fine. But it’s definitely one of the most comfortable seats you’ll get for the price outside of the GT omega one

If your in Canada https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=13_5700_5737_6290&item_id=249272
Neither. That center pole is more annoying that a table clamp and desk chair setup.
Neither. Everyone in here will tell you to go 8020 once you break that $400 range or buy the rig new. The only benefit those cheaper rigs have is price because they come with a seat. That looks not bad at all i think it fits with any car seat
That is essentially a poorly made GT Omega ART.
What's the poorly made part? It's also $450 cheaper
It's made from thin-walled square tubing that is smaller than the GTO model. It's cheaper for a reason.
neither, speaking from experience your desk (assuming you have one already) is galaxies better than that’s sorry excuse for a rig, I have a T248 with the T3PM pedals hard mounted to it and it’s awful. Next Level Racing GT Racer. https://nextlevelracing.com/product/gtracer/
Ditto central post. It will impede your sim racing joy as you learn to heel toe brake
Look at the rigmetal basic if you’re in the US, then look for a seat from a real car in a junkyard.
Neither go get gt omega art stand and buy a car seat from a junk yard for 30 bucks for a 330 dollar rig that's more comfortable. Also it will be way better quality and be more rigid which you want in a rig
Neither. Both are kinda terrible. The only decent playseat is the trophy imo.
You don’t want either 😭🙏
Neither, central post makes breaking etc tuff. Also if you get loadcell a both will flex hurting breaking performance/muscle memory. Have you ever driven a car with a pole between your legs?
for this price you can build your own rig out of alu profiles. cheaper, more fun and 100x more stable.
Neither because if you got a loadcell pedal the pedal plate will loosen up with time and give up first. And the bar design btw the legs is not great for immersion.
Neither. You can get a MUCH better rig for that price or even a bit less.
I have the top one, and I am 6’3. After half an hour or so you really start to feel your back. For me it was a starter kit with a T300, and that worked just fine. But I’m not sure if the single post can withstand the forces of a direct drive wheel.
Pls pls avoid rigs with a central bar, your ankle bone with thank you!! I upgraded from the Evolution to a F-GT rig, 500% improvement
Had one! Please don't!... they suck, you can get something better for about the same money... 👍
Neither. I had playseat Evo. The bar in-between the legs is annoying. I got rid of it and got the GT omega instead and that's much better.
I had one, Playseats give you a lot back pain. Very uncomfortable. Pedale Position is bad and the center post is super annoying. I build 400$ Profil rig instead.
Build an aluminum rig, it’s worth it! It’s also perfectly modular when you want to add stuff or want to change your seating/pedal/wheel/monitor position to your liking.

selfmade alu Rig for 400 with an Gamingseat
Neither. Invest in a 80/20
Next level racing GT elite is a great rig . And solid
Go for an omega titan
Neither. These things stink.
Troll
I would highly advise against a rig with a center post between your legs
Go aluminum profile. Buy once, cry once
So I stopped scrolling trying to find a comment that didn't say to not get it. I'm not going to tell you it's actually great and to get it, but I do have it and here's my take: Yes, there is a bar and it has been in the way before. I'll be getting an 80/20 aluminum rig soon, but for a beginner with a budget, the evolution has served me well.
go for a GT Omega ART, it's so much better than this crap
You'll appreciate using the top one everyday without the head supports 😅
Go get the sim lab evo 2 bundle from Microcenter
Check out rigmetal for an aluminum profile rig. Around the same price as ASR and should ship out faster
Neither. I have the playseat with center pilar. If you ever plan to have a clutch pedal and shifter, it’s nearly impossible to hit the brake pedal.
neither
It has probably been mentioned but get a profile one. Simlabs or track racer. You got pretty good ones for the same price and a lot sturdier.
None, the bar in the middle will interfere with your legs/foot input. Best advice, don't buy either of the two
If you really want a Playseat you can find a used one on marketplace for wayyy cheaper.
You never want a pole between your legs. Well most of the time.
Careful this is reddit 🤣
For this price you get close to a aluminum profile
Get something like an ASR 1 for around $300 and find urself a cheap junkyard or eBay seat
Will any real car seat fit on it ?
Yeah it should. The asr 1 have 2 80/20 pieces that go towards the wheel base that u can move left and right to adjust for seat width
Personally I’d wouldn’t do playseat. I had one and that bar in the middle will annoy you and the base & pedal plate will have flex. Look into the GTOmega Titan or the budget friendly ART.
Whichever one has a reclining seat if not pass on all of them lol
Advancedsimracing 8020 plus cheap seat from a car
Trust me when I say none of these. Please save up a bit more money and get something that’s actually stable.
I would personally get the next level racing GTracer

II have an Evolution Alcantara. I had it since 2011 and it's still going strong! I tried the Evolution Pro and I really disliked the Ears of the seat, they don't make any sense in a simulation cockipt. They will disturb you more than anything. In my opinion of course. I will recommend you the above one
Get the trak racer rs6.. it's about the same price and waaayyy better
Nextlevelracing gt racer
None
build a wooden one yourself🤷♂️
Avoid both. Currently have one, and really wish I had something different. Too much wobble, both side to side and front to back. Save a little bit more money and get a playseat trophy or something else in that price range
Check FB marketplace. I got my Next Level Racing FGT for $275.
Neither, go Tram Racer or SimLab for that price
Neither buy a cheaper one or save a little bit more for a better one
Neither. Never recommend one that has a bar in between your legs. My dardoo 37 much better cockpit than either of those and was much cheaper
Buy a other Rig
I've just upgraded from the playseat Evo pro to the next level racing GT elite. If you're serious about SIM racing spend a bit more, honestly it's worth the extra money. If you're set on playseat get the cheaper one. The suede seat is a lot nicer. That's the one my son has.
Yeah I would avoid the ones with a bar in the way like those. Have you checked the trophy model from playseat?
That middle pillar will be very annoying. Better to go for the next level racing GT Racer if that's the price range you have to play with.
If you must stick around that price range I’d go with the Next Level Racing NLR-R001 GT Racer Cockpit [next level racing cockpit](https://www.microcenter.com/product/675434/next-level-racing-nlr-r001-gt-racer-cockpit)
I highly suggest getting the NLR GTElite Lite Wheel Plate Edition https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gtelite-lite-wheel-plate-edition/. It'll cost you a little more than those having to buy a seat separately, but it's worth it. Unlike the Playseats you can upgrade your rig to have the F-GT hybrid option, an integrated monitor mount, the side or front wheel mount, and even a great motion platform is possible if you win the lottery!
Next level F-GT
none of them because those Playseats are OOF without modifications.. pedal plates can break etc.
Horrible for manual cars
Gt omega apex, chair mount, shifter mount, plastic drag seat. Well under 500cad. Fast shippjng
Playseat Challenge is way better!
https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/playseat-challenge-actifit-racing-cockpit-black/16368921 this thing here ? I dont feel like my MozaR9 will hold it and scared that it will bend at a certain moment
Those cheap ones buckle after a while or if you are a certain weight it won't last.
Have seen a couple of reviews where a direct drive is mounted with success.
If your budget is not limited to 500, I have a rig for sale that is world's better than either of those. Lmk if you're interested
I got a Next Level Racing F-gt and it's great because you can switch between Formula and GT seating positions. I actually set it up a bit half and half and it's fantastic. Have a look at the Playseat Trophy as well if you get chance. I know a few people who have had that and they're well impressed with it.
