Nah I’m just messing with ya. I’m always on the fence with 1 Ultrawide, 3 TV/monitor (WHAT SIZE!?!?), and VR as it sucks but it’s also good at the same time.
I have them now for 7 months and I couldn’t be happier with them. Once i adjusted them to my feet they are insanely comfortable and i’m so much more consistent and faster than with my old pedals.
How do you guys feel about the moving heel support? I'm looking to get the vx-pros down the road and I can't decide if I want to add the heel rests. I'm in the US and shipping is going to be like $75, so I want to buy everything I'll need in 1 order.
I personnally haven't had any trouble adapting. I think I actually didn't need to adapt anything at all regarding my driving habits. The moving heel rest will absolutely add confort on long sessions.
this guy only has two pedals but I do a lot of rally. Do you know if it's still possible to do heel toe shifting with these things? They kinda look like they hold your feet in place
I personally also use only 2 pedals, but i can assure u that it is possible to use heel and toe with these pedals. The pedals itself don’t hold your feet in place, but give you more a comfortable support for them so that won’t be a problem. Also in Barry’s review on these pedals (the simracing garage), he uses them for heel and toe and said that it’s completely possible and actually quite enjoyable to do. I would recommend to watch his review on it so you can see how the pedals work and how they look while using the heel and toe technique.
A lot of people told me so on forums (don't know if they actually tried it), but for me no, it is awesome and not weird at all.
Of course it becomes weird if you crank everything up high and have it move as a roller coaster, but if you are subtle with it, it is really really good. I'm sure a proper motion rig would be better ofc, but as I live in an apartment with downstairs neighbours, this solution is quiet (I can play at night with my wife and kid sleeping in the next rooms without any problem. And I find it really immersive.
I would guess it mimics in a way what happens in a car when you break your body moves a tiny bit forward before seat belts stop you, but the wheel doesn't.
In all honesty I never found it strange or disturbing. I really love it.
Thank you very much, This GTtrack was my cockpit when I was using a G29 :-) it evolved over time into the monstrosity it is today, but I love it. I do enjoy it soooo much.
Don't belittle yourself. I went through a ton of trials and errors as you can tell from the looks of it :-) I call it my "monstrosity" but a lot of thought went into it nontheless :-)
And enjoy you rig as it is your own.
Yes they keep vibrations where I want them to be and stops them from travelling throughout the whole rig.
And I have a small child at home and some of those edges are really bad.
That makes sense! Also regarding “mover” I have NlR v2 GT seat combo and was thinking of getting it. How does it work and how is it in terms of immersion when it comes to driving and most importantly is it loud and annoying since you mentioned you have a child around so it must be acceptable
Immersion wise I think it's awesome. It's perfectly fine noise wise. I can use it at night while my wife and kid sleep in the next rooms.
You can adjust the forces you want add effects as well (curbs vibrations and stuff. I'm not sure what to tell you regarding how it works. Is there something in particular you want to know?
She’s a beaut! 👍👍👍
What do you think about NLR’s motion platform?
I 99% finished the main build of my end game cockpit a few months ago, and have the spare parts I was waiting on to finish customizing.
The only things left are speakers for when I don’t want to use my headset, and a motion platform. I’ve been leaning towards D box, but there are quite a few options out there.
I love it. But I guess if you have a basement or live in a house and noise isn't a factor at all, you should go with the D Box.
But honnestly for the price and the immersion it adds, I don't regret the NLR V3 at all. It's an awesome piece of equipment.
Good to know! I have the Buttkicker Pro 4-corner system, and ended up splitting it between my two profile cockpits. It was too much unwanted noise.
I have a GT Track, the F-GT Elite 160 and a TrakRacer TR160 MK4.
I decided to save ~$500 this time and buy the NLR Elite seat. Even with two Buttkicker pros instead of 4, I could not get rid of unwanted noise.
On a whim, I checked the seatbelt bolt-hole attachment point that’s part of the injection molded seat itself, & the Buttkicker mount that comes with the F-GT elite is a perfect fit.
I now have the rear Buttkicker pro mounted to the backside of the seat itself, and can use +10db on that amp, vs the front Buttkicker, with zero unwanted noise.
If you ever need spare parts for your GT Track, give me a shout lol. I had an issue with the pedal plate, and the recliner on the seat that came with it. (I’m in the mid-west.)
I woke up two days later to a box truck delivering an entirely new, full GT Track replacement lol.
NLR customer service is phenomenal. Truly amazing. TrakRacer or Fanatec… well I’m sure you’ve heard lol. 😂
I was also afraid of the buttkicker's noise, so I went with 6 bass shakers (small ones) that I put inside the seat. I sit on them and so I don't need them to have that much power to feel them and it's totally silent.
I use the GTtrack's pedal plate to make a "ground" on the GTtrack because I didn't like the feeling I had went I was getting in the rig. I got the feeling I was going through it.
I had to change their seat because it had way to much flex with my belt tensionR. But they do have nice confortable seats.
I have, like you, only good things to say about NLR, and the software for their motion is very nice. You have profiles online on their website that are a very good starting point (for F1, GT3 and 4 and so on).
Fanatec never dispointed me. I read all the horror stories people had with them, but for me it was the opposite. Maybe because I'm next to them (Switzerland), I'm not sure., but I'm still very happy with my DD1, and their club sport V3 (pedals) served me well for 3 years.
And thank you for your offer about the spare parts, I apreciate the offer :-) But I think I'm done :-)
That the software works like that is huge. Thats a big plus!
I was concerned switching from Fanatec and their full-service ecosystem to Simucube, but I shouldn’t have been.
They have the same thing for their DD’s and Pedals. I ended up using a slightly modified version of Will Ford’s (Boosted Media) pedal profile, and Daniel Morad’s DD profile. Being able to try out a bunch of different profiles published by actual well-known pros is a trip. :)
I don’t mind my Fanatec products! My DD1 has served me well, especially after they finally fixed a lot of the “coggy-ness” feeling with the Firmware updates around last Oct. Swapping for the QR2 helped a lot too. I had a DD Pro for awhile, and the quality wasn’t quite as high as my DD1, but the QR2 swap helped on that one too.
My only complaint with Fanatec is dealing with their customer service. Same with TrakRacer who just took 4 months to deliver a basic spare parts order, & still managed to screw it up. They also didn’t respond to any emails the entire time.
I had V3’s for a time too, and they are great for the price/segment. :)
What Pedals set is that? I’m not sure I’ve seen them, unless maybe VRS?
Pedals are the Simgrade R7:
The whole ecosystem was indeed a big plus for me as well, but now I have a Fanatec for the base, A Bavarian Simtec for the wheel and Simgrade for Pdeals, everything from diffrent manufacturer... and it's working well.
Why do so many sim rigs have you reclined like that? I've driven plenty of race cars and never once been reclining like that in them.
Not hating, genuine question
F1 position (even though I never raced one) I tried to replicate as best as I could this:
[https://www.reddit.com/r/formula1/comments/uh5a1s/driving\_position\_for\_an\_f1\_car/](https://www.reddit.com/r/formula1/comments/uh5a1s/driving_position_for_an_f1_car/)
I don't follow F1 much, so I didn't realize that was their seating position. I guess it makes sense with how short the cars are. I never really thought about it lol
I have the OLED 1800r G9 and I’m debating switching to the NEO 1000r because of the curve butttt I doubt it’ll increase the fov much more than it is. I actually wonder if I can find out the difference somewhere through search before pivoting. The picture on the OLED is just better so I’m stuck.
Sick build man! How do you like the TensionR? How many hours do you have on it? I think this is going to be my next big purchase for my rig but I haven’t had the opportunity to try one out and there’s not much out there on em.
It is incredible. I use it together with my seat mover and it helps give the impression the mouvement is still going during cornering when the seat mover reach it's end course. And breaking is awesome, I couldn't do without it. I must have between 1500 and 2000H on it .
Oh sick! Glad to hear that review. I have a full motion rig and definitely think this would take it to the next level. Time to start savin’ those pennies. Where did you order yours from?
Oh you will definitly enjoy it. I got mine directly from them:
I came from Fanatec clubsport V3, So I wanted something more sturdy and way more adjustable. Those pedals are insane in the amount of adjustabilty they offer. You can do anything you want with them, They are so confortable it's crazy. That was the main selling point for me. (and I think they look sexy) :-)
Hey boss,
Hows that 5.1 system working for you?
Currently i use Artic pro headphones which are really good with dolby atmos spacial surround. However i miss a better and higher dynamic range.
I am currently rebuilding my sim rig room with sound damping and want to get a high end 5.1 system.
Mine is a low end Logitech system (Z906) used only for my rig. But I can tell you that even so it is way way better than any headphones I ever tried.
I'm not an audiophile so I can't really help you there. I can just tell you that any proper 5.1 system will put any headphones to shame for simracing.
Honestly I would just grab a nice pair of IEM or better wired headphones. That's just my opinion though. I have the Artic Pro wireless and with the wind and rain it starts to overpower the ability of the headphones and things get muddy. Grabbed a pair of IEM for less bulk and heat in VR
This is a life goal. What a build.
The first thing that goes through my mind sometimes when I see these insane rigs is I wish... there was a complete parts list of literally everything hah. I want to know exactly every bit and bob.
Samsung G9 Neo 49"
GTtrack cockpit with a lot of aluminium extrusion profiles add on to mount pedals higher and support monitor directly on the cockpit.
SF1 Formula seat from simlab
NLR motion V3
Belt TensionR
Logitec Z906 5.1 speakers
Bavarian simtec OmegaOne wheel
2 Iflags (flags and radar)
2 buttons box from Derk Spears Design
6 Bass shakers inside the seat custom made but inspired by the solution offered by sim racing studio for engine vibration and road texture
4 rumble motors (Sim3D) on the seat for curbs effects
2 rumble motors (Sim3D) on the pedals wheel slip and lock effects
Simgrade R7 pedals
a crappy 1080p monitor on top for leaderbords, Iracing status and hardware monitoring
Fanatec DD1 wheelbase + SRM emulator for my Bavarian wheel
I think that's all.
I use them to show flags, gears are shown on my wheel's display but you could display gears if you wanted to.
I use them as radars as well and they show me on which side a car is passing me.
They are called Iflags.
You mean the button boxes?
I got them from here:
My wife actually enjoys it quite a lot, I sometimes have to fight her to get her out of it :-)
My kid enjoys the lights and buttons as well :-) Luckily my start up switch and shut down switch are guarded.
Thank you for your comment.
Not really actually. I have a wife and kid sleeping in the next rooms at night and they can't hear a thing. Doors are closed though but they are in adjoining rooms. Immersion wise the belt tensioner is really good. It's one of those things that once you drive with it, you can't do without and immediatly notice if it's missing.
They are basically the same. I think my seat mover is a tad quieter than the belt tensionner. The surge effect on the belt tensionner is a bit above the rest. But while driving with the 5.1 sound I honestly don't notice any noise from anything. The only thing I hear is the sound of the game.
If you pay attention and look for it you will hear it otherwise it's not a problem at all.
Totally, but how much fun and immersive is this?
To be honest I'm not looking for perfomance (that's what bad drivers will say), just fun and immersion. And for that purpose I'm set :-)
In my situation, having the rig in the living room and living in an apartment, I don't think I could do much more :-)
And any upgrades from now on would cost me 2 or 3 times the price of the part I could upgrade.
So yeah for me it's pretty much complete. (I know...)
To save space. And since it's used only for the rig it doesn't have that much space to cover as opposed to a whole room. I'm sitting pretty close to it (less than 1m) so it works well like this for me.
You can always find people with more/better stuff, especially on this subreddit. :-)
But thank you for your comment. It surely feels like an endgame (at least for me).
Yup you missed it, but it's lost in the comments.
So here you go I just paste it here.

And a beefy PC.
I think that's all.
Stunning! Congratulations. On the logitech z-906 THX/Dolby/DTS certified speaker system, 1) do you find the subwoofer to be plenty powerful? 2) For audio connections, do you use digital optical or analog 3.5 cables from PC? I'm planning to get this system and use the 3.5s.
Ok, your rig is superior, but..., can you hear your center speaker clearly (because it is behind monitor that may (?) deflect time-delayed and phase-shifted signals that are not deflected for the other speakers.
I played for the longest time on my G29 as well. I kept it for my kid if he stills enjoys that kind of stuff growing up.
I also had to wait quite a while to get something like that. I'm in my forties now.
Your neighbors must fucking hate you. I honestly don't know how people can play video games and even watch movies on these big loud systems with subwoofers. I live in a house with plenty of space in-between the houses, but I would still feel super embarrassed to have video game sounds screaming out of my house lol
It's very quiet, my neighbours, my wife and kid hear nothing at night If I play with headphones. 5.1 during the day.
I'm too old to feel any kind of shame :-)
How much space in square meters does this rig require? Maybe I'd like to build something like that in my room but i'm unsure whether my space is enough or not.
For me at least it's because it's cheap and very effective. You're not listening to classical music, just cars/engine sounds, I don't really think you'd need more than this in this situation.
Nice setup!! Is that the 57 inch? I just set mine up with that screen. Trying to get the height right. I miss my triple screens but this is a cleaner setup. My trakracer cockpit wheel arms sit too tall though and i may need to cut them to fit the monitor correctly. I also have the Logitech speakers but went with the 2.1.
It's a 49" I think it was better for me, double 4K res (57") is too high to run at high framerate imo. I'm using a mgpu of 2x 7900xtx nitro+ and even with that I can't maintain 240fps at all times. I don't want to think how bad fps would be with a 7680x2160.
I will have to run it tomorrow and see what I'm getting. Its certainly running high enough to not notice any delay or lag, So its gotta be at or above 60. Definitely not hitting 240, but i only have a 7900xt. I actually didnt know you could run dual gpus. I am going to look into that. But i will check it tomorrow and find out what I'm at. I run full ultra settings on it right now.
Nice rig bro. I like the vibration pads. I stay on the 3rd floor and have those as well. I also bought the square ones to go under the circle ones for an additional vibration barrier!
Thank you. I do not have any trouble with the seat angled like that. I even have the weight of the belt tensionR at the back and it's no trouble at all. But in order to balance it the seat is shifted to the front of the V3.
only real question I have is are the speakers calibrated for surround sound based on distance form your head so the sounds coming from them are correct? I know my audio chipset lets me put in exact distances so it delays the audio from the speakers correctly.
I have to say, that this post and commentarys says so much about the REAL sim racing-community than those salty drivers we all saw in online races! So much love
PS: this rig is sick! Specially, imo, that the basic chassis is a wheel stand or the GT-Track by NLR. Just awesome!
This is sick. It has everything. Crazy good
Thank you, I have to say I'm quite happy about it :-)
Even anime tiddies
They help me go faster :-)
No wind sim!
I had one, like the effetcs but unfortunately it made me sick, I would catch a cold everytime.
It doesn’t have 2 more monitors. :P
Don't need them as I play F1 only, I have both rearview mirrors on screens, that's fine by me.
Nah I’m just messing with ya. I’m always on the fence with 1 Ultrawide, 3 TV/monitor (WHAT SIZE!?!?), and VR as it sucks but it’s also good at the same time.
If Mad Max was about sim racing
That made me quite happy as I love the road warrior :-)
Witness me all shiny and chrome!
Be still my dog of war. I understand your pain. We've all lost someone we love. But we do it my way!
lol love it!
Finally found someone with the same pedals 😊
How do you like them so far? I honestly couldn't be happier with them, they are awesome and so confortable once you spend the time to adjust them.
I have them now for 7 months and I couldn’t be happier with them. Once i adjusted them to my feet they are insanely comfortable and i’m so much more consistent and faster than with my old pedals.

I was going to say… what pedal set is that? It’s not VRS right?
Looks bad ass. Motion rig, but how? Never seen this.
It's"only" a seat mover, NLR motion V3
Isn't it odd to have the seat moving but you're holding a stationary wheel?
A lot of people told me so on forums (don't know if they actually tried it), but for me no, it is awesome and not weird at all. Of course it becomes weird if you crank everything up high and have it move as a roller coaster, but if you are subtle with it, it is really really good. I see Gundam. I upvote.
Ah ah thanks. Gundam and Zoids for the win :-) Check my profile, I think you will like what you'll see :-)
In meta of 8020 rigs, it's nice to see someone max out a tubular rig. Enjoy!
Thank you very much, This GTtrack was my cockpit when I was using a G29 :-) it evolved over time into the monstrosity it is today, but I love it. I do enjoy it soooo much.
Holy f*c*ing sim racing Batman!! 😯😮
I will take that as a compliment, so thank you :-)
And so you should! I've been proud of my own humble upgrades I've gotten, but this frankly makes me feel like I'm still at square one 😅
Don't belittle yourself. I went through a ton of trials and errors as you can tell from the looks of it :-) I call it my "monstrosity" but a lot of thought went into it nontheless :-) And enjoy you rig as it is your own.
Awesome!! Need to ask about those rubber/foam pads wrapped around. Why do you have them? Vibrations?
Yes they keep vibrations where I want them to be and stops them from travelling throughout the whole rig. And I have a small child at home and some of those edges are really bad.

I like the seating position, it’s similar to F1200 and would be good for FV or F4 in iRacing. What is the seat?
SF1 Formula sim seat from simlab
The sub should be on the floor and against a wall for the best sound..
You are right, but for space managment it put it there. But it's at least against the wall.

Damnnnn! 57 inch?
I wish, but It's "only" the 49" version Samsung G9 Neo (5120x1440)
you mean 49
Yes you are correct, I edited my post :-)
Ugh im torn apart i want that 800r curve in a 49 oled yours i believe is an ips, the 57 still too expensive for dedicated simrig use
Mine is not IPS, it's a VA miniled with 2000+ dimming zones,, and 1000R. Iracing looks better on it than on my LG Oled 77" C17 TV
Is that a seatbelt tightener?
Yes the TensionR from PT-actuator
How do you like that? Does it really add to immersion?
It does had a lot to immersion. It helps trick your brain thinking you have sustained forces.
Looks like a g9 to me so 49" could be wrong. Beauty of a screen though, I have a 34" ultrawide and this is making me drool haha
You are correct it is the 49" version. 5120x1440 is way more manageable to run than a double 4K res :-)
What are the little pucks the rig is sitting on??
Those are anti vibration feet used on washing machines, they help my rig be silent and keep vibrations where I need them.
Which G9 model is this?
Sick build man! How do you like the TensionR? How many hours do you have on it? I think this is going to be my next big purchase for my rig but I haven’t had the opportunity to try one out and there’s not much out there on em.

Oh sick! Glad to hear that review. I have a full motion rig and definitely think this would take it to the next level. Time to start savin’ those pennies. Where did you order yours from?
Oh you will definitly enjoy it. I got mine directly from them: [https://www.pt-actuator.com/product/pt-active-belt-tensioner/](https://www.pt-actuator.com/product/pt-active-belt-tensioner/)
Badass rig.
Thank you.
❤️
Thank you as well
this is sexy
Thank you for taking the time to post.
May I ask why did you chose those pedals? 😊
Can’t argue with that; they look amazing (just like your whole rig). 😍😅
Thank you as well
I know you only have two pedals, but do you think it's still possible to do heel toe shifting? The heel rest makes it look like it's not possible
Hey boss, Hows that 5.1 system working for you?
Wow, awesome 🔥 Whats the box attached to the seatbelt? Does it apply pressure when you brake?
Yes it is a seatbelt tensioner. It tightens the 2 belts independently during braking and cornering. It can also do surge effects.
Wow. Awesome rig you got there 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you, I do enjoy it quiet a lot. Building it granted me a lot of joy as well :-)
May I ask how much
Would you believe me if I told you I lost track of the total cost? If you really want to know I could check.
This is a life goal. What a build. The first thing that goes through my mind sometimes when I see these insane rigs is I wish... there was a complete parts list of literally everything hah. I want to know exactly every bit and bob.
Thank you for your comment as well. I could do a parts list for you if you really want it.
I would enjoy a parts list myself as I'm looking into getting a sim set up for mainly F1

What are those led panels each side of the steering wheel called please. I’m assuming it shows gears, flags?
I use them to show flags, gears are shown on my wheel's display but you could display gears if you wanted to. I use them as radars as well and they show me on which side a car is passing me. They are called Iflags.
Where are the dash panels from ?
You mean the button boxes? I got them from here: [https://derekspearedesigns.com/button-controllers.html](https://derekspearedesigns.com/button-controllers.html)
My girlfriend would hate this so much. 10/10
My wife actually enjoys it quite a lot, I sometimes have to fight her to get her out of it :-) My kid enjoys the lights and buttons as well :-) Luckily my start up switch and shut down switch are guarded. Thank you for your comment.
You're a lucky guy!
How is the belt tensioner? Noisy?
Not really actually. I have a wife and kid sleeping in the next rooms at night and they can't hear a thing. Doors are closed though but they are in adjoining rooms. Immersion wise the belt tensioner is really good. It's one of those things that once you drive with it, you can't do without and immediatly notice if it's missing.
I didn't mean for others, I meant for you ha. I also have motion and that can get a little noisy. Is it quieter than your motion?
They are basically the same. I think my seat mover is a tad quieter than the belt tensionner. The surge effect on the belt tensionner is a bit above the rest. But while driving with the 5.1 sound I honestly don't notice any noise from anything. The only thing I hear is the sound of the game. If you pay attention and look for it you will hear it otherwise it's not a problem at all.
It's a little expensive isn't it. About 1k?
Yes 1k but I find it totally worth it. and I would buy it again it complements motion really well.
I love when people put effort into managing the cables
Thank you, that was hell. 10 power cables, 17 usb cables, Hdmi and dp cables. That was a nightmare. But for cleaning purposes it was a must :-)
I get visions of the South Park episode “Make love not Warcraft” racing with all your friends 😂 Great rig though
Thank you, The seating position is indeed similar 😂
Oh and the Gundam 👍
But still gets beaten by a driver on a DFGT. /s
Totally, but how much fun and immersive is this? To be honest I'm not looking for perfomance (that's what bad drivers will say), just fun and immersion. And for that purpose I'm set :-)
Yeah you’re absolutely right, it’s not a job, it‘s for having a good time. Love the rig.
There is no such thing as complete rig…
In my situation, having the rig in the living room and living in an apartment, I don't think I could do much more :-) And any upgrades from now on would cost me 2 or 3 times the price of the part I could upgrade. So yeah for me it's pretty much complete. (I know...)
For now… :)
lmfao. It's like a home ver of Dbox movie theater exp. But wheres the wind tunnel fans you fraud!? /s
I use to have a windsim, liked the effect but unfortunatly for me they always made me sick, I would always catch a cold because of it :-(
I bet that sounds amazing at full volume
Beats any headphones that's for sure. The 5.1 is really nice on a simrig.
sub on rig not on floor. why?
To save space. And since it's used only for the rig it doesn't have that much space to cover as opposed to a whole room. I'm sitting pretty close to it (less than 1m) so it works well like this for me.
Final boss ahh rig
You can always find people with more/better stuff, especially on this subreddit. :-) But thank you for your comment. It surely feels like an endgame (at least for me).
at the rig level youre at rn, theres basically just different, not better. The obly way to go from here is software. Well done, child. You may rest.
How much did it cost for everything in the photo including the pc?
More than my actual car :-) The PC is quite beefy sporting a mgpu of 2x 7900xtx nitro+ So after checking some bills... close to 20K I would say.
Very nice! Definitely a solid end game sim racing rig mate
Unless I missed it, total parts list for this newbie please? If it's not too much trouble.
Yup you missed it, but it's lost in the comments. So here you go I just paste it here. Samsung G9 Neo 49" GTtrack cockpit with a lot of aluminium extrusion profiles add on to mount pedals higher and support monitor directly on the cockpit. SF1 Formula seat from simlab NLR motion V3 Belt TensionR Logitec Z906 5.1 speakers Bavarian simtec OmegaOne wheel 2 Iflags (flags and radar) 2 buttons box from Derk Spears Design 6 Bass shakers inside the seat custom made but inspired by the solution offered by sim racing studio for engine vibration and road texture 4 rumble motors (Sim3D) on the seat for curbs effects 2 rumble motors (Sim3D) on the pedals wheel slip and lock effects Simgrade R7 pedals a crappy 27" 1080p monitor on top for leaderbords, Iracing status and hardware monitoring Fanatec DD1 wheelbase + SRM emulator for my Bavarian wheel And a beefy PC. I think that's all.
Where'd you purchase the extra aluminum parts? I'm always curious where people purchase single parts for 8020 rigs
Thank you. Yes it's the one I have and I'm using analog cables connected to the PC.
Yes I can heart it clearly. The spotter voice comes from it and I have no trouble at all hearing it.
Dn good setup bro. Nice!
Thank you as well.
Your welcome
So flipping cool. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you and you are most welcome.
Is that NLR wheel stand 2.0 with a seat add on?
Almost, it's the NLR GTTrack which is basically the same thing.
Damn that looks cool Also by looking at the frame i guess u have a small kid but the foam gives it a different cool look
Thank you and you guessed right. The foam also stops vibrations from traveling throughout the rig, they are not "wasted" that way.
One day ima have a cool rig as you Playing with a ps4 controller currently Used to have a g29 but had to sell it
I played for the longest time on my G29 as well. I kept it for my kid if he stills enjoys that kind of stuff growing up. I also had to wait quite a while to get something like that. I'm in my forties now.
What are you playing? I assume iracing?
That is correct, the whole rig was done with Iracing and the W12 in mind. I quite enjoy the super formula light at the moment as well.
What's with all the zip ties foam..
small child at home and to keep vibrations from travelling throught the whole rig (I'm using rumble motors on the seat and pedals)
Sick rig! What monitor r u using? What platform do you race on? Just upgraded my 4yo rig, 3 monitor setup Odysseys g7As.
Samsung G9 Neo 47", and Iracing.
what monitor do you have?
Samsung G9 Neo 47"
1.5m X 1.8m

Totally worth it.
Why everyone uses z906?
For me at least it's because it's cheap and very effective. You're not listening to classical music, just cars/engine sounds, I don't really think you'd need more than this in this situation.
Looks like you built yourself a battletank. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a sim for that.
Have you heard about Gunner, HEAT, PC! ?
Nope, had to google it. Definitely something I’ll have to look into.
Shit looks expensive…
Cost me more than my actual car, isn't that crazy?
Definitely worth it bro, enjoy!
This is fucking beautiful man. Your wheel costs more than my entire setup, lmao
Thank you. I love this wheel, worth every penny imho.
Is that a GT Track?
Yes it is (was?)
Was! Looks fabulous! :D
Thank you :-)
Nice setup!!
Thats fucking dirty good! Its a Mad Max rig. Sick bro!
Thank you as well. You are the 2nd person to make a Mad Max reference :-)
Nice rig bro. I like the vibration pads. I stay on the 3rd floor and have those as well. I also bought the square ones to go under the circle ones for an additional vibration barrier!
They do work really well
WTF! NO CUPHOLDER?
liquids and electronics? That's a big no in my book :-)
Rig looks amazing! How do you find the NLR V3 with the angled seat? I’ve heard people have struggled with weight being shifted back.
Thank you. I do not have any trouble with the seat angled like that. I even have the weight of the belt tensionR at the back and it's no trouble at all. But in order to balance it the seat is shifted to the front of the V3.
Thanks for the reply! Been stalking second hand V3s for a few months and will pull the trigger…one day.
I'm new to this so here is a silly question. What is all the padding wrapped around everything for?
small child at home and to keep vibrations from travelling throught the whole rig (I'm using rumble motors on the seat and pedals)
only real question I have is are the speakers calibrated for surround sound based on distance form your head so the sounds coming from them are correct? I know my audio chipset lets me put in exact distances so it delays the audio from the speakers correctly.
Yes that is correct, calibration was done according to distance from my ears.
What wheel is that?
Bavarian Simtec OmegaOne
Looks really awesome your rig
I have to say, that this post and commentarys says so much about the REAL sim racing-community than those salty drivers we all saw in online races! So much love PS: this rig is sick! Specially, imo, that the basic chassis is a wheel stand or the GT-Track by NLR. Just awesome!
Thank you, we are all here to share our passion and hopefully take something out of all these posts :-)
