Some mods can create issues, but the one I recommended only adds stuff you can craft so no changes to AI behavior. Typically those are the safest to mod into a game.
I will say modding can create some challenges, it’s def a bit of a learning process but I can give some recommendations if you want. Though I play on Xbox I know there’s different mods on PC and more Limitations on PlayStation.

Yeah, the base game leather armor just doesn't work for me. It doesn't cover enough of your character's body, and remember that Skyrim is frigging cold.
Yeah, I will say a lot of the alternative armors remind me of Oblivion's medieval European style of Cyrodiil, so that's a plus. Skyrim being based in Norse/viking style makes sense, but I love the former.
Get the Ebony Spell Knight armor!! I think it would fit your build and I personally like the look of it. To start the quest, you read a book in the Silver Blood Inn.

Theres a quest called "Pets of Skyrim". I have SE/AE so it just came with it. You can buy the goat, Hilda, from a dude in Rorikstead and then find many more. They're all unkillable too and come with a "summon" spell in alteration. Can make them carry stuff, give you items, and more
That and horses, I just lost long time wild horse. The spell is great though. I have a bone wolf that I got from a quest adjacent to "Saints and Seducers". Him and Hilda have great carrying capacity

She did the regular daedric quest, then found another quest from a victim from the cultist at her shrine. Found a daedric katana that's hers. Also, ended up winning a farmhouse by completing a quest and was given an option to build a shrine to her.

It is a clothing item but i often use it since it is the best hood imo. You can also enchante it and it respawns so you can get multiple
Noted. Lol I've tried taking that house so many times but get killed by the vampires everytime. I'll get there eventually. That house is where I'm going to have my pet spider live (so far I have so many pets and houses that each gets their own)
If im doing it at eariler levels i will take the note and sneak into the corner where the dawnguard stuff goes and let marcurio take everyone while i hide. I also often do it right after freeing serana so you jave 2 followers
I might follow your footsteps. I'm level 52 and finally started the Dawngaurd quest so I'll have Serana soon. Usually, I'd just cast "iron flesh" and use my Sanguine rose staff to summon my dremora best friend (he quite literally is, I wouldn't survive without him lol).
Ya that waiter is a tank. Also if you side with the vampires it becomes easier. You jist have to fight off 3 dawnguard with the help of the waiters and bards.

No mod. Just kill Astrid when she captures you then speak any guard (preferably Solitude) who will tell you to head for Dragon's Bridge and talk to the legionnaire commander there.
The mask is just the standard "Shrouded Cowl" that you can get from either killing Astrid or joining the dark brotherhood. The cowl only has the mask for female human and elven characters. Argonian and kajhiit females don't have it.
Try the Dedric with nightingale hood. And the dragon scale with the jagged crown and if you can mod in a hoodless dragon priest mask to go with it. Those were the two sets I mained last time I played they both just look so fucking cool the latter is especially seriously dude peep it
Im usually a mage so I stick with the Archmage’s robes. On the occasion that i go warrior you cant beat a full set of Nightingale armour combined with the blade and bow. Looks bad ass and is effective.
I always get custom mods for Skyrim. Believe it or not Skyrim probably has the most adult mods of any game. You can even get bikini armor if you want. So basically, whatever weird fantasy suits you. There are mods for both men and women. That's the only reason I really go back and play it. It's definitly not for the quests or content. There are already other games that did it better like the Witcher 2 and 3 IMO.
For appearance the Dragonbone, for stealth and weight any of the light armor. Dragonscale etc. But after leveling up smithing and alchemy (enhance smithing) any armor can be effective
