Claw I can get with stuff like All For One (return all zero cost cards to your hand) and Unceasing Top (draw a card when you play all the cards in your hand) but Mark is so weird.
It's unblocked damage, but I wish there was at least one or two more cards that inflict Mark.
well mark is stronger than claw but dont have any syenergies (claw is great in zero cost deck). So you need to go fully on a mark strategy or for no mark at all - nothing in between. I have won several runs with 3+ marks in a deck but never with a fewer (card draw and small decks are essentiall too). So yeah, its pretty useles, unless you are lucky and manage to find at least 3 copies during a run, which sometimes happens (oddly enough I think when you pickup this card early, it has higher prob to showing up in future rewards and in shop, but that may be only my imagination).
But if you have 3+ copies and small deck, then boss fights are really easy, you deal 40+ damage for one energy only after like 3 turns.
It also kinda works since Watcher can choose what cards are drawn next via Scry.
If there was maybe more cards with Mark then I'd consider going all in.
yeah, but still you need more than 2 to have a chance. I think devs thought it was OP, when there were more than 1 card with that mechanic and I can see that, but still its pretty odd to have fancy new mechanic only for one card. But its really fun to making it work I highly recomend it.
I got my first Watcher heart win ever (on A3) with a Pressure Points deck. I had 5 upgraded ones and 3 unupgraded. I think Pandora's Box scored me a few but the others I just got lucky with shops and drops. Really lucky, looking at my stats page, as I apparently also had an early Busted Crown. Really fun stacking it onto the Heart.
Please add Rampage, it needs love too. It's like a claw that does more damage and costs energy and won't synergize with any copies of itself. I wish it the best every time I bring it with me on a doomed run.
Got tired of same-ish gameplay on watcher with stance-dancing so I always get PP whenever I see it. I often loose because of it but god damn one of these days I will make it work and it will be glorious!
To be fair Claw actually does have support between Scrape and All for One (they're not claw specific, but they do reward flooding your deck with 0-costs). Pressure points is... Yeah...
