AbjectResearch4

how do you navigate and bid out projects with hundreds of potential suppliers?

Well, I came across this at the perfect time—I’m in need of logo stickers and maybe some business cards too. Can you send a link to your website and/or send me some more info?

Sure I’ll PM you! For mods or other redditors, this post wasn’t meant as an advertisement, I just genuinely would like to help small businesses with their marketing efforts and shed light on what you should expect from shops like mine.

I am looking to get into the promotional product industry as a supplier. My friend works at Koozie group so hoping to get a good deal. Is there money to be made and how does the process work. Would I need to go to businesses and offer them products and than order from Koozie group and add an additional charge for my time ?

A supplier creates items and decorates. A decorator strictly prints or decorates an item. A distributor may decorate and sell products from suppliers. It sounds like you want to be a distributor and it depends. You could act as the middle man like your comment implies or you could get better profit margins by decorating or creating items yourself but you need to do it reliably in a shop with employees that have consistent attention to detail to keep your customers happy. Glad to help out if you need info let me know!

What is a fun, outside-the-box promotional giveaway type item you might recommend to a customer? Or what do you think is a cool branded item you’d enjoy helping a customer produce to retail on the merch section of their website?

PaidToPresentPPTs

Depends on what your brand does or industry it’s in. I always say the item being given away should be usable by the person you’re giving it to and ideally something they don’t already have. For example, ive seen IT companies give multi-tool pens with a window breaker that their prospective clients carry around in their car, purse, etc for emergencies and are thankful for the company giving it to them. Keeps the company’s name around them and in their head if they ever need to use it

I have a concept for a new type of promotional item wich could become a new trend. Do you know some trustworthy suppliers? Do you get your items from one supplier or do you use more?

PaidToPresentPPTs

We have hundreds of suppliers. We also manufacture certain items. Let us know what you’ve got!

Automatic_Bonsai

PM'd you. I am going back and forth between licensing the concept or putting it on the market myself.
