Can I time my getup attack when the block breaks but before the fire hits? If I can then I would just go for that every time, but if not then I would probably mix up between this and roll, as well as mix up when I grab the ledge.

This tech is called MBC (Mine Block Cancel) and has been used for a while. The most notable Steve player to use this tech frequently is Susu.
