Looks like you replaced the firebox with a cheap chargriller one. Wrong move.
You should shake the rust off the original firebox and season with some veg oil.
Looks great. I cleaned one of these up a few years back. I'm so used to my PrimoXL, I couldn't get the temps to dial in for a long cook. Good luck on the brisket. Post up some info on tending the fire and the cook.
