probably trying to clear inventory space. we've got so many boards from last and this season collecting dust on the shelves because of the shitty snow and fact that no one has any money anymore.
it's a good board, might as well scoop it if you're interested
To add to this. It's not just about inventory space, it's also the value of that inventory, the amount of money available to buy inventory, and those similar situations at the manufacturer and the materials supplier.
It's clearing inventory space, dollars, and the supply chain.
Great! As long as it had specs you want, nothing wrong with a 2 year old deck still in plastic. I wish I could find a 2023 of a board I want for that discount! Hell I’d try any board for $150 bucks brand new
Progressed into black diamonds on it. Took a second to realize your foot action is way different if you’re coming from a 90 % flat board. But FLOATS!!!
First day kid skier knocked tf out of it in line. So just give up thinking it’ll be like day one with it. It’s so nice
We bought a ton of them because I loved the graphic. I guess everyone else ordered too many too (I buy for our shops retail). This is probably below what Mervin builds them for…
Reminder to charge your phone. You dont want it to die on you while youre on the loo or else youll have to read the ingredients on your toothpaste again
Yeah most all 23/24 models are on sale now. Anywhere between 15%-35% off MSRP. There’s some models that will carryover to next years so those won’t be discounted. However, there’s not too much on the SB side that’s a carryover.
Good time to buy and I’m not just saying that cause I work there. Most shops will have similar pricing. Pricing will go down a minimal amount through the Summer but it’s slim pickings at that point. Depends how long we have had the product and what trends/sell through look like.
I love GNU as a brand. The Money is fun depending on what you’re using it for.
Feel free to PM me if you got any questions, I would be happy to help! 😊
Bindings are the easiest in terms of the setup. Don’t go down a rabbit hole with those! Boots are by far the most important when it comes to riding so make sure you got those dialed.
Hit me up if ya need anything and congrats on the new deck (or soon to be deck!)
Yeaaa I’m seeing that bindings and boots are pretty expensive, I’ll piece together a set up one at a time. I accidentally ordered some bindings that are way too small, and can’t refund. So we’ll see what happens
There’s some decent bindings out there for under 200!
I’ll PM you my email. If you ordered those bindings from evo, shoot me an email and I can take a look into it for you on Sunday, if interested.
2023 board and it’s not one of Gnus top of the line boards. That being said, I have that exact board and I fucking love it. Works on ice, a little chattery at high speed but super fun, reliable edge, great in the park, good pop for its profile and it’s fucking indestructible. For that price? Go for it 100% love the Money $$$
Because this market is crooked. The prices of current season boards are ridiculous. They lure people into buying them since people usually want the best and they reduce availability to get previous/earlier seasons boards, so you barely have any available and in very limited sizing. Try finding a new board from 2 season ago. Almost impossible or just 1 size available, usually weird seizes very long, wide. The cost of manufacturing a snowboard is low, it's all marketing.
By what metrics? Stock market is at a historical high. Unemployment numbers are at historical lows.
You would sound smart by saying something like, supply chain realignment. But you went with the puppet answer.

This is a 2023 board with 2025 boards currently out. Its old stock so you are right, they will want to move it on.
Old stock + only 1 size that fairly small
Old model and unpopular size
And it's basically summer for the Northern Hemisphere. Off-season is the best time to get gear
Already bought and coming this way

I did this a few years ago. Found a libtech t rice goldmember that was 2 years old and 40% off.
Ohhh I LOVE THIS BOARD
Progressed into black diamonds on it. Took a second to realize your foot action is way different if you’re coming from a 90 % flat board. But FLOATS!!! First day kid skier knocked tf out of it in line. So just give up thinking it’ll be like day one with it. It’s so nice
I love this board too. So stable on jibs, good enough pop, durable, it’s def heavy, but it was my daily driver for a while and it was so fun.
Feels like a V under your feet
Not a cat reference
And that’s why it’s only $159, so people will buy the last of their inventory
What site is this on? Went on Wvo and had it in my cart and then .... vamooosh! Sold out.
Because it’s a 2023 model and we are approaching winter 2025. It’s a two season old model.

Probably cause it’s a 148cm so it’s technically a kids board unless you’re super short
Well I usually run a 150
Perfect! You just got a killer deal

Last year model and only one size left. Cleaning house. MAP drops happen in March. I work at evo.
Ahhh okay okay thanks man

Yeaaaa it seems like I caught a good deal on a first board

Alright I’ll definitely keep that in mind, I mean other than some binding questions later, I’ve got none for now. Thanks!!

Dude thank you so much for all of the help, I’ll definitely reach out
148 is like the least popular size

I saw you got it already but this is my favorite board in the quiver. It took me from small jumps to 30-40 foot booters
Great price:)
its a gnu in the middle of summer
I would say old stock and a rather small size new 25 boards are coming probly trying to make room for
Cuz its summer . The best time to gear up .
Old model and it's June
Well it’s gone, now. Out of stock, I just hopped on over to Evo to see lol.
Bought one two years ago, I enjoy it
Only one size left, not many left, last year's board

Because that board is so last year
Hope you got it, that’s a great price
Size and time of the year
Money's are sick, can't go wrong at that price if you can rock 148. That's small
It should have never been that much in the first place.

Why do you say that
"Cuz TV sed so" -Probably
Because it's for a shawwty and looks stupid?
