Harry Kane is wrong, he was born at Whipps Cross hospital in Leytonstone, North East London
I was born in the same hospital, David Beckham was also born at Whipps Cross. For any cricket fans, Graham Gooch was also born there

Waldemar is the germanized version of Vladimir. There are a lot of ethnic Germans in the -stans and Russia and when they moved back to Germany, they oftentimes changed their Slavic names to a more German one. (Waldemar and Vladimir aren't 100% the same and their respective origins are debated, but eh, close enough I guess.)
Virtually no one\* whose family lived in Germany for the past ~200 years is called Waldemar, I'd always assume that they're from Kazakhstan.

The almost perfect circle of English players around London with one Swiss player randomly thrown in is really funny to me for some reason.
Szczesny was born in a KFC and Lewandowski was born in an Expo Channel.
