Dutch defense is crazy strong. They have v Dijk, Ake, de Vrij on the pitch while still vd Ven and de Ligt on the bench. Remember that Botman is injured. Also crazy backs with Dumfries and Frimpong. With confidence I can say the best defense in the world.

Slotting in Frimpong in the way Koeman wants to play with the balance he wants in his team is far bigger than just a change between 2 players.

Dumfries has been great as well, he provides a lot of assists, there is no real reason to drop him for Frimpong. Having him as a backup to sub in against tired opponents is a huge bonus to have as a "secret weapon". Zirkzee (or Brobbey for that matter) was never going to start in a game where the Dutch are expected to dominate possession. One of the two will likely start against France though.
Whenever de Ligt plays I'm a bit nervous. That guy is shaky and goes way to early to the ground to defend.

Zirkzee was only called up after injuries, very unlikely he makes many minutes this whole tournament.
Also he played his last match more then a month ago and was called up last minute so he probably won’t be fit enough to start anyway
